Adam Schlesinger was the bassist in Fountains Of Wayne. Chris Collingwood was the frontman. I was lucky enough to see them a few times here in Boston. The first time was in 1997. I was at the show for Sloan, who were opening for F.O.W. Schlesinger had just been nominated for the Oscar but he was still really cool. He was only a year younger than me. I know I would love to hear his current thoughts on it because he seems to be in a very unique situation. 1) He's been involved with DC for a long time so he must have personal & professional contacts within DC, people at different levels and different departments. 2) He's talked very highly of Zack and has claimed to have received a lot of info, including tightly held/confidential info, regarding the Snyder Cut and Snyder's full multi-film arc. 3) He has personal relationships with some of the stars and other talent involved with both the original cut and Snyder Cut, most notably Mr. Batman himself, Ben Affleck. Those 3 reasons alone pique my interest. I would love to see/know how his opinions/thoughts have "evolved" over time, since he last spoke about it.

The good economy some were claiming we had was truly only good for millionaires and billionaires (some of us who still care about facts already knew that, though). The fact that so many are hurting financially after just one missed paycheck, more than indicates that our “booming economy” was merely an illusion with a fraudulent, impotent magicians behind the curtain. Because clearly many non-celebs want to be entertained and find a way to escape reality a bit. Maybe not everyone is watching their tv/tablet/phone to see some actors/entertainers/influencers. But clearly, a whole lot of people are. Now, IN NO WAY am I of the opinion that no matter how much money or power you have, you’re a superior human being (I don’t worship demagogues like many who claim to be against the elite do).
