prince soonyoung hey. I'm a non-native speaker. What I understood from this text is that the name of the brush is written so small on the brush so he can't actually tell the correct name of it and doesn't want to give us the wrong information since he's not so sure. Is it true or not? Lol

I wish John could do the voice for the GPS directions on google maps.
A long time ago when AOL was needed to access the Internet using a dialup modem...and dinosaurs roamed the earth....they came out with extra voices you could download to change the "You've got mail." announcement. There were about 6 and all various celebrities, and I liked the one that was by Mick Jagger that said, " Ya got some letters." It was so comforting and lovely compared to the computerized voice blaring at you.

Yay or Nay - some googling led me to an article from 2012 that stated he was, then, 18. That would mean he actually just celebrated his 25th, I believe? In any case, though he graciously jokes along with people’s assertions he’s an immortal, there’s no denying he is an old soul and thoroughly ethereal.

Families would have these marvelous beings noted eon after eon after eon in family bibles, always noted with odd symbols. You say "old soul" John says 2800 + years. I believe John, I am 3300 years.

I'll be looking out for cheaper brushes with similar traits until I can afford some of the brushes you've recommended.

Kaplands Also, I don't know what country you're in, but in the US, we have a place called Marshalls, where they sell designer clothes, accessories, and skincare for super cheap. I recommend Eco Tools brushes, and I can usually find sets there for way cheaper than sometimes even two new brushes at Ulta or Wal-Mart. So, you can start a small collection for wicked cheap. Also, Claire's makeup brushes are apparently manufactured by the same company, and totally worth looking into. Love the kabuki brush I got from them. :)

Kaplands do what we used to do in the 60s because there was hardly any synthetic brushes everything was Sable and I still believe they're the best to work with go to an art supply house and buy artist brushes they come in all the sizes of of a makeup brush in fact I think the Makeup Company copy them so and you'll find that they'll last forever and ever and ever and they're they're they're expensive but probably nothing like some of these brushes now

I have been working as a self taught makeup artist for years now, so my recommendation for affordable brushes would be :Coastal Scents brushes ( they has one of the most amazing brush kit I have ever seen) , Royal and Langnickel brushes are sold in Walmart . E.L.F , Ecotools also 2 great brand to try. And I do have an advice for beginners makeup artist that buy 2 brush set instead of 1v because you in big job or doing makeup on lots of people you won't even have time to spot clean brushes.
Girls with attitude ( UK brand) is all so a good brand

I think this video actually put John's makeup into perspective for me because he talks about a variety of different techniques he chooses not to use in his own makeup. There are things I would change in his own personal makeup but it makes alot of sense that he chooses exactly how he wants to look and is still open minded to other techniques that he feels wouldn't suit him. He's able to separate his personal style from his clients specifications to provide a look that isn't his style. That's something I admire

Enjoyed this a lot. ✨✨✨ I have a question, I want to purchase the Chantecaille Future Skin foundation which is a lightweight gel formula. I am looking for the perfect foundation brush to apply it, which one brush would you recommend for that? :) Thanks so much, xx Matis Swann 💫

I would love to see a video about your routine for washing and hanging your brushes or whether you dry them flat- it would also be cool to see a ‘kit’ video and show us your actual storage system! Thank you for being you.

I love it... ‘this brush is made of, I believe blue or gray squirrel, or maybe even a cat as it’s very soft’ 😂 I love the sense of humor.

Lol, I had a little laugh when you showed the small powder puffs. I that I was the only makeup artist who used them on my pinky finger, to keep from touching or smudging the makeup. I definitely dislike leaving a finger print behind and the having to fix it. I also dislike makeup on my fingers because it feels rather troublesome. Also, from one makeup artist to another I'm going to leave a tip as I have absorbed many if yours. I like to carry bath and body works hand wash for cleaning brushes, sponges and the like. It a rather gentle cleaner and since it has an oil base it's conditioning as well. It's also amazing for removing foundations which tend to be a little more water resistant.
