Diorama of Ruins and Guardian 【Resin art / Cryptid / Sculpture 】

- An abandoned ruin that stands quietly in a deep forest. There is a pool inside, and that pool is connected to the underground. Such an image does not get out of my mind. If you don't put this into shape, you can't dispel the image from your head. That's why I made this. I feel refreshed.

Thank you for watching. Here are some frequently asked questions and their answers.
⠀
Q. What is that clay? Does it cure in the microwave? A. The type of clay is polymer clay. It cures with the heat of the oven, not the microwave. It's sold to Amazon.
Q. What is the material of that white board? A.That is the Foam core board. Used to make architectural models.
Q. What is the machine that scrapes the foam core board? A.Micro motor. It's sold to Amazon.
Q. What kind of resin are you using? A.It's a polyester resin. But this is not recommended because it is difficult to handle and has a strong odor. Epoxy resin is recommended for use. I use polyester because I have no money.
Q. Music is noisy! distracted. A. sorry I can't speak English so I use it without help. From next time, I'll change to quieter music.
Q. You are bad. No technique. A.I am aware of it. It's almost the first time to make a diorama. Please give me a break.

Thank you so much for giving me your valuable time. Thalasso hobbyer
I thought it was styrofoam. 🤔
I’m just trying out a couple things and I’m just wondering how to get them done with that job so you know I will let him go but I’m
"You are bad. No technique" Sorry that people are so rude. This was a great video and you did a great job, Using cling wrap with the polymer clay was awesome! i never thought of that so thank you!
People are dumb! You can easy see that you are gifted with an artistic vision n hand. If this is the beginning of your journey... Can't wait to see what you create in a couple years!! Keep it up
👍👍 👍👍 👍
If that's a first time making a diorama whooooooooa, i chose this video cause the finished piece looked cool in the thumbnail! Also the music isn't that bad, if you like to use it then you don't have to change it. I always see people demanding things from artists. Some people will always have something negative to say.
Anyway, I hope you will create more things you like and thank you for sharing them with us!
Love the forced perspective that increases the depth of the scene
I'm also happy in being able to hear that you liked it. Thank you!
@@Thalassohobbyer Mate, you really have to make molds of these(i know its hard given the material) and sell them!!

I love that this dude has a mind of a story writer and the gifted hands of a artist that makes something INCREDIBLE.

You know what’s good about these, the fact that if they get dusty it doesn’t matter.

Yeah
They are also easy to clean up with small accessories like the mini vacuum brush for computer hardware.

Can we take a sec to appreciate that he sculpts all his characters and makes his own backgrounds
We do that by watching his videos and liking them.
I love that it's all done by hand and not with crazy expensive computer programs and machines
The scariest part is that you don't know how large the mouth is. That mouth is open. You can't see the lower jaw.
Stop it, I'm already creeped out 😰
@AnimalGem14 I will. Don't worry about it.
My theory is the jaw runs down the whole body and it eats you from the bottom

I absolutely love the fact this came straight from your imagination, there was an idea, a spark, and you created something stunning out of it. I wish I had this talent, its incredible, thank you for sharing this.
Thank you for your pleasant comment!
it more of a skill than talent i think
@@jaear6032 -- I think it's both. It is possible to have the skill but no imagination, in which case the creation may be uninspired. But you put together skill and talent and then you are able to let your imagination take flight and create scenes like these. :)
I am better
@@minsungminsung318 truth hurts
I watch a lot of different people make a lot of different dioramas. And I'd have to say that this guy is by far the best. Where other people would use 3D printing machines in computers he is using just his hands and imagination. Build everything himself. Fantastic art

it would been cool if they did some "wet spots" on the dirty zones at the sides of the pool, maybe because the monster splashes water sometimes

I guess his original owners trained him not to make a mess? There's a ladder that goes into the pool, which implies people used to get in the water with it, and a stool where people could sit and watch it, both of which imply that it was probably pretty well socialized

You are hands down the best diorama sculptor on this platform. I watch sculpting to fall asleep at night. Yours is one of the only channels I can sit and watch the whole thing. You don’t 3D print and that’s not taking away from folks that do, but there’s something special about watching a person making the tiniest details with their hands.
ヤバい人だ、技術的にヤバい人だ
細かい作業すごっ!!
Really liked this one, I feel just to say that maybe adding little details like power cords hanging from the walls or things coming from outside the windows (tree branches or other things) or broken lamps on walls may add a little of personalization to the scene.
Don't misunderstand me, i really like it and the ambience you set, just wondering if my comment could help you see it from another perspective! Keep the good work! :)
don't get me wrong, broken lights and tree branches sound nice, but I won't say this diorama lacks in details nor customization
this piece has a very good balance and realism, being so well characterized but at the same time not too busy, and this is not so easy to achieve
oh, and as a rule you ALWAYS want to avoid an overcrowded diorama, especially a small one (this goes for all dioramas, not just the ones for tabletop)
a single scene should be easy to read at the first glance (you can look again to find out more features, but you shouldn't miss anything important the first time around), so the more details you add, the more your eye will skip in the ensemble, at the risk of giving you the impression of a messy jumble
it's a common beginner mistake
plus, the focus here seems to be the cute giant leech in the pool, so adding more random stuff on the building around him will be distracting without really adding anything...
and that's another rookie mistake you want to dearly avoid: regardless the art form, the frame should NEVER overpower the piece: it's supposed to be complimentary, not the center of attention
... just to add some more perspective ^__^
@@nimeryaspawnbrd1049 I'm pretty sure branches and lights are unconsciously part of the environment and would only add a bit of realism without polluting the scene. The mistake is to add alternative elements that seems to be important.
@@serenity5892 my guess (and my point in the message above) is that, since the author didn't feel like adding them, they probably weren't that crucial to the scenario he had in mind, regardless their being a conscious (?) part of it...
long story short, is a matter of minor artistic choices and personal tastes
@@nimeryaspawnbrd1049 Of couse, but it could simply be the result of doing it alone. From my personal experience, I would've probably missed a ton of details and ideas in the process of my drawings by not sharing them WIP.
I'd be all about a creepy shadow across one of the windows from the outside. Maybe a tree, a lamp post, a phone pole, or the stretching arm of a shambler. Either way, win win.

this is so beautiful and cool, i love the forced perspective, i never imagined you could use that for 3d models, but it works so well!

I love the leel of care you take to first construct a tiny stool and then deliberately break that tiny stool in the specific way you want. The accumulation of all these tiny details is absolutely amazing.
I love it! It looks like something you don’t wanna find while exploring an abandoned building
関係ないけど 手がめちゃくちゃ綺麗
Never really thought of applying the fundamentals of drawing perspective to something 3D but the effect is amazing
I have seen it done before but it is not as common, and it's a shame because it adds a lot to the scene. Many models are a 3D to scale space, but open indoor models like this are often square and look comparitively flat. Not to say they're not also impressive, but the perspective makes it so much cooler and more immersive.
What amazes me about this work of art is how precisely the perspective and the vanishing point have been implemented. C. Escher couldn't do it better! And I am amazed every time with what certainty the right materials are used here in order to leave an absolutely realistic impression! Many pre-digital science fiction and fantasy films would have looked better if someone like the Thalasso Hobbyer would have built the sets ... Great!
I am in awe of your skills! The patience, the ingenuity, and the attention to detail!
I think this is possibly THE COOLEST thing I've ever seen!!!! So amazing!!!
