Between the "it's okay that they're burnt, I'm not going to eat them" comment and the repeated takes of the pillars toppling over, I love to see the humor and the fun in the process of making all of this.
I'm also cackling over that, it makes all the hard work looks fun as well 🤣
Thanks for liking my husbands' hands
Proof that sometimes art doesn’t need to be taken so seriously. 😊

It almost hurts to watch how much details are in dioramas, details that some people won't see in the final product (like the stairs, for example in this case), but as an artist myself, I understand that too. You seem to really love what you do and put a lot of dedication into it, that's something not everyone has. ❤️
As a person who loves tiny things, dioramas and stop motion I’m the one who’s gonna point out the stairs and make everyone look at it
It's always such a pleasure to see just how much time and work you put into each of these pieces--truly a master of your trade!

This (Rani ka Vav: Present day in patan)is intricately constructed in 11th century is a subterranean water storage system and was built by Queen Udaymati for her husband King Bhimdev I of the Chalukya (Solanki) dynasty.
Designed in the Maru-Gurjara style as an inverted temple highlighting the sanctity of water, it has seven levels of stairs, more than 500 principal sculptures and over a thousand minor ones on its panelled walls!

I was just sitting here, shaking my head in disbelief watching how much effort you put into this. Every single step could well have been it's very own project. Hats off to your insane creativity and perseverance.
This is exactly how i felt watching this
Did anyone else notice he hid India in this amazing creation? The biggest chunk of "stone" in the bottom left of the diorama is in the shape of the country of India.
Oh shoot yes i just noticed that
I noticed that detail and thought how generous of him to add the country where this "mystical well" was presumably located at
21:37 Yes 😘

Whoa! Totally missed that, thank you for pointing it out
As an Indian, I have never felt that foreigners are interested in Indian history and culture.. Thank you for making such an amazing art.. Love from India 🇮🇳
How can anyone not be interested in Indian culture? India has some of the most beautiful ancient architecture and art in the world! Not only that, but the amazing food, festivals, forests, and people!! The history is rich, deep, and fascinating. I studied abroad there in college and can't wait to visit again some day. Love from America!
@@Valhalla43 Thanks A Lot For Your Kind Words. 😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏
I get what you mean. It's usually because India gets such a bad rap from north american media so others rush to conclusions, but the truth is india is just so rich in art, culture, history and so much more. Cheers from Canada, mate! Hope you find your day was a good one!
@@Sparky16 Indeed. Thanks For Sharing Facts. 😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏
That's not true. I was ok at history in school as a kid and as I got older I appreciated history even more. Every country has had bad and great history. I like all kinds of history and the story's behind them. I only have problems when certain people start removing people's history because they are uneducated or to much hate in their hearts to learn and except it.
22:25 Wow did anyone notice one of the cracks is in the shape of India?? This man goes in soo much detail with his art! Love from India!☺️❤️
the fact that you did research and based your designs and even your guardian from actual indian culture and not just making things up just made my respect for you go up to a hundred man thank you for this ❤️
Nothing wrong with making it up
When those freshly painted pillars fell over.....I felt that

He really takes the “it’s the little things that matter” to the next level, and I LOVE it! (Every little small detail he adds just goes to show how passionate he is for his work, and honestly it really inspires me to get back to sculpting)
Yeah, watching someone pour their soul into a project like this is so inspiring to watch
I agree
But I cannot take you serious with that profile picture
Exactly. How many other's would have taken the time to create a stamp to create the ornate overhead for the arches that most people wouldn't even notice? Amazing work and it really is a pleasure to watch. I wish my mind worked in this creative way.
"I couldn't find out about the materials so I did it by Imagination" That is just amazing. Your work popped up on my feed randomly and I am simply astounded by the work you do. I will for sure be sharing this with some of my friends that love doing painting and model making. Hats off to you four months is amazing for what you did here.
Seeing such respect and reverence for the Indian culture is inspiring. I would love to see the same artistic skill applied to the indigenous peoples of central America. There are some truly awe inspiring Aztec ruins that would be perfect for this unique Thalassophobic treatment. The culture is also rich with awe inspiring and terrifying deities.
You are by far the most skilled miniature sculptor I've ever had the privilege of encountering. Thank you for your beautiful works and may this life treat you very well.
oooohhhhhh YEAH i bet various cenotes would look AWESOME in diorama form
It’s been a hike since I’ve read a comment with emotion such as this, thank you.
Sorry to be "that guy", Hraefn, & I'm presuming English is a 2nd or 3rd language for you ? I think you meant, "Thalassophiliac", as 'phobic' relates to phobia, meaning an irrational fear of something, the suffix -philia means, a love of something, -phile refers to the person with that love, and -philiac refers to the actioning of that love....
Otherwise, I agree whole-heartedly, it would be awesome to see an Aztec themed diorama. The care, and attention to detail is jaw-dropping, from the little stamps to make the cornicing/facings of the windows & door-ways, to the leaves on the trees & the Ivy climbing the walls.... just absolutely stunning !!!
Anyways Hraefn, kindest regards & respects from Scotland... Paz
I’m kinda offended that this only got 225k likes, this man took 4 months to make this. The skill and patience he has is indescribable, some people either get bored or frustrated when their work takes weeks. He should be getting paid like $1M a year for this, maybe getting accepted into a museum, he’s destined for incredible things and I hope he get’s whatever and I *mean* whatever.

i’m absolutely in love with the tiny clay stamps and all of the tiny, tiny details.
edit: one of my favorite things about this channel is that literally all of this stuff is handmade. i also love how they make all the structures first, then do the weathering so it looks authentic. it makes the dioramas look way more high quality and gives them this… this strong energy of dedication and love of the craft.
Imagine the amount of pride that swarms the heart when you’re able to show off something that you made with your own 2 hands
Absolutely loved the details.

The whole scene and everything looked like it is straight from a movie, with the most amazing cinematographers working on it. AMAZING job.
The part that surprises me the most about this is how you can actually think of how to make these in the first place. coming up with the idea is one thing which you are still amazing at but actually being able to bring that idea into reality is just ungodly
When ever I skip 10 seconds, I feel like I’ve missed something and I go back to watch it.

This diorama hits different. Not only must've it been incredibly tedious making all those miniscule details such as the leaves and the wall patterns, but the finished project looks PHENOMENAL. When the lights came on, my soul practically left my body. This is truly a beautiful work of art, something you should be very proud of. ✌️
“Thin paper to make leaves”

When I first saw resin being used in dioramas, this channel is what I imagined. Creating these lost worlds with big sea creatures waiting to be discovered, or forgotten. I love the amount of detail and dedication that go into all these dioramas you make. It really brings them to life in a way. Thank you for all the videos and things you make, its extremely enjoyable

Wow. Looks like a movie set, the level of details and weathering. Speechless, and just in 4 months. Respect!
Right?! The detail I've seen artists able to put into these dioramas is unreal. With a few shades and styles of paint/other materials, they can make something look so incredibly realistic. It's just amazing! Such talent! ♥️
Not sure about the fish but everything else looks exactly Indian. The architectural style, the trees every thing is so brilliant. Hats off to the amount of details you included.
These are so relaxing to watch. The detail you go into is insane!
The ancient engineers and architects who created the well, themselves, would be proud of your work. It's done with so much details and hard work. So beautiful.

Apparently a little bit like my old friend Auri...
He was a betta fish I kept for a few years... little guy was in terrible condition when I got him... no one thought he'd make it... but he did. He made an amazing recovery and went from this tiny, sad looking little fish, to the most majestic betta I've ever seen.
He died a little more than a year ago... I still miss him a lot, because he gave me a reason to get up in the morning, during a time that I really needed it.
I'm actually so ashamed of myself. I just sit around thinking of art to do and not actually acting upon it, while as you make something already is so time and sanity consuming but still doing it and finishing it all the way through. I bow down to you Great Art Master. Please teach me your ways of patience.
Sometimes, in parts of your video I actually wanted to tell you so badly to stop. Just because I know how heartwrenching, insanity inducing, and how hard it is to make something you love. Almost like I'm seeing you torture yourself. I know how hard it is to do something like this. I applaud you good sir/madam. I respect you and your work. Even so far as to say that you are probably the greatest artist I've known of. Your Diorama is beautiful!
My wife and i watched this last night and i was enthralled the whole time. We didn't speak to each other for the whole 26 minutes except to say how amazing everything was, your attention to detail was immaculate and it almost brought me to tears. This is a gift you have my friend. My favorite part was the training vines and how vibrant they were against the decaying background.

Please keep making these, hopefully you can inspire more to do the same.
