I tried this method. However it took too long for the plant to get female flowers and my male flowers went bad in the fridge. Now I’m trying to save the pollen by itself & hoping for the best!
Yeah if you don't see any females on the horizon, it's a good idea to try and save the pollen by itself, sometimes I'll take the cotton swab and get the pollen and put that in the fridge!
@@cookseyfarmsI saw another video where the creator did just that, rubbed a cotton swab all over inside and then stored that. So I might try that too.
@@murdermittensinc3296 that should still work! I just usually keep it in the flower if I see a female about to open, because it’s less messy and I feel like I’ll have more pollen but yeah, you definitely don’t want them to go bad in the fridge if the females take forever to show up!
