Yeh bro, it happened to me yesterday, after a while o decided to get in just tu put on a clown outfit, the griefers came to me in less than 5 minutes on, it was 3 against one, after killing them a few times, I realized that they don’t care, it’s boring, so I left...
I hate griefers but I have most respect for the one who don’t rage quit as soon as they found better than them. It’s only when you fight better than you that you can progress. You will acquire more experience by taking 20-1 from someone good than killing a noob 20 times.

JohnSlyRecon, I think everyone feels bad about RDR, such of good game; graphics, environment, storyline, and motor system, but rockstar just had just abandoned the game and the players and they don’t realise they could lose potential costumers in the future ... costumers won’t buy their futures games from themselves... so I hope rockstar fixes this and get to act together fast.
I wish RockStar Games would create a structure such as a tutorial at the start of the game which depicts this game isn't about randomly attacking players and there's more to it. It's because I see a lot of new players randomly attacking players due to they don't know what to do in the game, so RockStar Games should honestly make a tutorial for these new players to explain in depth "Here's the activities you can do such as looking at the beautiful scenery or discover different species or breeds of animals just as the dogs in the grassy terrain to the iguanas in parching dandy desert. Or purchase a fishing rod and go give the fish some company, or enjoy the wonderful waters of the map by paddling on a boat!"
There's way more stuff to do than what's been listed in this comment. Honestly do you believe RockStar Games spent a lot of time into this game, the biggest map they ever made for a game just for it to be players killing each other? Of course not and also RockStar Games didn't make this game just for it to be called "GTA 5 IN THE WILD WEST!" because this game is completely different from Grand Theft Auto 5 because look at the mechanics and features of the game, npc's have their own mindset, it's pretty much similar to artificial intelligence because the npc's in game aren't programmed to do a certain animation and then to constantly repeat that animation, npc's will do what they want to do.
And if you honestly don't believe it watch the Red Dead Redemption 2 videos which involve players following npc's for a whole in game day to see what they do, even the temperature system is very different due to let's say you enter a cold climate and your character isn't wearing the appropriate clothing for the cold climate, your character's cores will drain out and you could possibly die in game due to the cold. Same with a hot climate, if I'm wearing a bunch of layers of clothing onto my character, my character will be seen in a certain manner of feeling fed up due to my character's cores draining out from the amount of layers of clothing in the hot weather. If weaponry isn't cleaned regularly they will perform horribly same with the horses you need to maintain good cleaning for your horse or the horse's cores will drain out and they won't demonstrate well.
But yet most griefers still say "It's GTA 5 In The Wild West!" but this game is more different than any other game, I've listed reasons on why it's different to "Grand Theft Auto 5" and it is also heavily different from other games and it's a game that is pretty much a first of it's kind, so it should be treated differently, you can't compare it to a game when the game doesn't even have any similar characteristics. The Red Dead Redemption 2 game as a whole is a business and there's individuals who use this game for content and if their content accumulated of them being killed over and over, do you think that's good content, do you think that will help boost their content? Indeed we have structures such as "parley" or "defensive mode" but parley's only last for ten minutes and a parley can be bypassed due to player who has been parleyed can leave and join back off a profile of the other player who decided they wanted to parley. But that might happen if you don't put your profile offline but I shouldn't have to have my profile preference always to offline just because of griefers.
And even when you "parley" with a griefer they could still potentially attack you if they want to such as when you're on your horse and you're riding, the "parleyed" griefer could ride up in front of you with their horse and exactly time it to stop right in front of you with their horse so you can go flying off your horse, so you could potentially die in game and maybe your horse potentially could die too, another way is the "parleyed" griefer could be on their horse and you're on your horse riding and the "parleyed" griefer is riding behind you with dynamite out and they could perfectly time it by making sure to wait a period of time and then they could throw it at an angle where it will land right in front of you so you can go flying off your horse. Also the "defensive mode" structure is pretty much useless you can still be killed in defensive mode they just can't aim onto you. And of course I can leave the game and join a new session but picture if that happened every session I joined?
RockStar Games doesn't enjoy griefing because it ruins their fanbase, imagine being randomly killed over and over and you gone through the "defensive mode" and "parley" structure, there's a chance I could just the quit the game entirely which put's RockStar Games at risk because visualize every individual who has been griefed did that? And I've heard from "griefers commenting "RockStar Games loves "griefing" because when griefers attack players and those players can't defend themselves they blame it on their weaponry so they go try and buy new weaponry but they don't have any money to buy new weaponry in game so they could either use a bunch of their time to gain money or just use real life currency to purchase in game money such as "gold" and RockStar Games loves when people buy their transactions!" well RockStar Games most likely don't enjoy griefing in my opinion due it's on the Red Dead Redemption 2 report system, griefing is against the rules, meaning you can face a restriction from the game if you're reported for griefing.
I've also heard individuals misplace the definition of griefing such as I've heard "They have to kill you seven times for it to be griefing." when that's not true. In "RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2", any random attacking is "GRIEFING", so if you kill me once that would be "GRIEFING" and let's say you accidentally kill a player then make sure you have a way to contact that player and explain what happened and apologize for it but if you know you're going to be in a position where you won't be able to contact the player you accidentally killed, then don't play the game.
Griefing honestly needs to be stopped specifically in this game because this game is more than a bunch of players attacking each other, it has way more opportunities.
Good point 👌👌I couldn't agree more. It is boring to deal with grieffers any time you play. There is no invite or private session in the game, no new content after months. The game is not funny anymore.

You mentioned having only one sawed-off with incendiary and one with regular buckshot- I'm a fan of this. It really does slow down your ammo consumption
Because of that, I like using the LeMat (in shotgun mode) in the left hand, so I always have a backup revolver with explosives at the ready when I'm out of shotgun ammo

I use a sawes off with regular ammo (switching to incendiary when needed) and a Mauser on the other Hand. Works really well

Just had a 40 minute battle with a group of cheats had to run unfortunately but we got the cargo delivered and destroyed two delivery points to keep them from finishing our delivery.
That's right stay in defensive mode at all times and shoot when they red👀👍🙇😊. I do the same here, when you beat the crap out of 5 to you being the only one mogging them THEY BIT** And moan that you in defensive and/or cheating!!! They are the ones who stay on that handicap and training wheels, even there paint it black makes em look like a joke😆👏. Good work pal would love to join up as I love to do this as well😉😏.

And I played with a friend some missions and he got every time only 20$ i don’t know why
Do Daily Challenges(It might take a small while to make 15 gold for collector role), Then buy the collector role by going to madam nazar(If you don't bump into her randomly can search her location on UA-cam) Next thing you should do is find the collector's map online. You should search "Collector's map" on google, It'll take you to the website through a link. THEN when you get all the collectables you need go over to madam nazar and sell them. If you'll prefer getting more money from this role, You can buy the metal detector which is a little pricey

I got a suggestion on how to kill griefers with toxicity. You use the hangman ability card and use it when they are close. Most of them cannot escape and they just die.
