I'm a teenager, but I used tea tree oil a couple years ago and it made my skin very inflamed the more I put it on. I have sensitive combo skin, but I did use it almost every day. Much love from Oahu, Hawaii!
Tea tree-as well as any essential oil USUALLY needs a carrier oil , almond, jojoba etc. I can use it straight up on my skin. It has a drying tendency. It's most effective for blepharitis and scalp conditions-both usually caused by "critters" aka demodex follicularis. Tea tree has the benefit of killing bugs that have an exoskeleton. It needs to be used at least 30 days to kill the adults and their larvae. As far as acne is concerned I've had mixed results with it. It does however, when mixed with geranium essential oil, have a great effect on ingrown hairs post waxing. Hope this helps!!
I recommend the Aztec Secret Health Indian Clay mask. It's around $5 for a tub and works great for acne! Always dillute tea tree oil so you don't burn your skin. You can also add tea tree oil to your shampoo! I like the Trader Joe's Tea Tree oil shampoo and conditioner. You have a wonderful pregnancy glow!
Congrats on the pregnancy! I'm also pregnant with twin boys and luckily I haven't suffered acne during my pregnancy which is amazing since I'm totally acne prone, and what has helped is using the body shop tea tree blemish mask on a weekly basis! Goodluck with using the tea tree products!
I have used Tea Tree for the last 20 years and throughout my 3 pregnancies. All my kids are teenagers now and I get them to use it on any spots that they have. Love it. I just use it on spots so not excessively and when my skin sometimes get really bad I will fill my basin up in warm water put a 3-4 drops of tea tree and the same with lavender oil and will immerse a small face towel in the water and pat into my skin and sometimes just splash the water on my face. I love doing that, I also have acne prone skin and this really helps. And I'm sure you already know just read up on what oils are ok with pregnancy but i've never had a problem and I had three deliciously fat babies.
I have been acne prone my whole life. When I got pregnant, I was in the same situation as you with limited products to use to keep my skin in check. I started cleansing with coconut oil and made a toner with 3 parts water and 1 part raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar. It saved my skin. I still use this combo now after my pregnancies. The apple cider vinegar is stinky but the smell goes away once it dries on your skin. You can play around with the ratio to get a toner right for you. I hope this helps someone the way it helped me.
I use tea tree oil on my break outs after moisturiser. Just a little bit works wonders. If you apply too much it can dry your skin out/burn so be careful of that! If it starts to sting that means you've applied way too much! I normally just put a small dot on my finger and massage it over the spot. It just helps dry up the pimples quicker and it takes away the redness. Hope this helps you :)
I've suffered from severe teen acne for a very long time, but then I used tea tree oil and it helped me so much. But now, my acne has gone away BUT I do get pimples and stuff during my monthlies. I feel like it helps me so much. For new acne, I just rub it on usually before I go to sleep. I use the body shop one, they even have a primer, which I use for my base before make up, or before I slather sun block. Otherwise, to treat acne scars, I just add honey to tea tree oil and put on the scars for 2 weeks, every 2-3 days usually and it works wonders. I have relatively clearer skin now, but as you said, due to your pregnancy, you may have more acne due to hormonal changes, but I definitely think it works and it does not cause side effects due to it's natural property. I also wash my face, tone and moisturise- although not diligently every night. I must say that washing your face whenever you feel it's too oily is also the best way to treat acne. for me at least and I have so much more clearer skin now. :) Hope you're well.
Love tea tree oil! Try Greased Lightening from Lush. It a witch hazel, lavender, and tea tree gel that works wonders for my acne. If you are going to use the oil, make sure you dilute it, otherwise it's a bit strong. A few drops in a spray bottle with some water is a refreshing face mist.
Hi Jen. First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy. I've actually only been using tea tree oil to treat my pimples all my puberty. I recommend spot treating or adding 2 drops to any moisturiser and apply. it works best over night imo, and pls avoid the eye area especially if you are using a particularly emollient moisturiser. I find that it will travel up on me. I'm currently using nivea soft creme for hands, face and body. no scent, plus it has glycerin as it's second most used ingredient. Enjoy!
My biggest tip with tea tree oil is making sure you're using it with a carrier oil of some sort. I've been using Clinique's Turnaround and mixing a couple drops of each on the back of my hand.
Hey Jen! Try mixing tea tree oil with some distilled water into a spray bottle so you can target all the problem areas! This method is much easier then spot treating and the water dilutes it so it's not so harsh on the skin!
I have had very severe acne and I have used tea tree oil. At night, I would take a q-tip and dip it into the tea tree oil. I would place it on any pimples I had and on hyperpigmentation. At first the scent was way too much but I quite enjoy it now. I don't use it very much anymore because it can be very drying and it can cause some redness for a little bit (that's why I use it at night). I also put some in a spray bottle with some water so that I could spray my pillow case with it. Tea tree oil is an antimicrobial so I find it good to put on my pillow case in between washing my pillow case.
I've been using that exact Tea Tree oil for about 5 months now, but I've found that it doesn't do very much to cure my acne. I did a bit of research and found that tea tree oil itself is too harsh to put directly on the skin, so it should be diluted in something. I tried it with my moisturizer, but like I said I didn't really see any difference. If anything, it made my face acne a bit worse...But, since I do have that entire bottle of tea tree oil, I have been mixing a few drops into a spray bottle of distilled water and sea salt to treat my body acne, and it has definitely worked in that area! Thanks for your great videos!
I put a few drops of tea tree oil and vegetable glycerine in a base of half Thayer's aloe witch hazel and half distilled water in a 4-oz glass spray bottle to use as a toner. No breakouts ever. YMMV! Be careful of other essential oils though, as some of them make your face more photo-sensitive. I'm mixed Asian/Caucasian and get sun spots so easily.
I love using tea tree oil because it works fast. It dries and kill the blemish however you will have a dry patch if used on the same spot over and over.
I've never been pregnant, but I am extremely acne prone (I had to get facial peels before anything really worked on my skin) and I love tea tree oil! I use it to spot treat areas and pimples go down in a few days as a result. Just a word of warning though, be careful of overdoing it; I stopped using for a little bit because my skin got extremely dry and flaky. A little goes a long way.
I've been experiencing the same thing Jen! During my teenage years, I had a lot of chest and back acne. And now, it's back! and it is a bit harder to treat trying to use what is safe for us. This helps a lot. I wish this would work for me too.
when i had a lot of breakouts last year, i think my skin was irritated from the clarisonic. and when i wasn't using the clarisonic, maybe my fingers alone were not enough to thoroughly clean my skin... After i switched to using microfiber cloths and a gentle cleanser, a lot of my big breakouts went away. if you don't want to use any extra chemicals or harsh smelling tea tree oil since you are going through pregnancy, i really recommend the microfiber cleansing cloths. even if you don't use any cleansers and just water, i think the soft scrubbing action of the cloths help my dead skin come off and keep my pores unblocked with less irritation compared to the clarisonic. (and its easy to use in the shower for your back!)
The sulfer wash you once used is safe Bc it rinses off. I'm pregnant and it keeps me clear. Peter Thomas Roth sulphur mask is awesome all over and on spots. And glycolic acid, aha, is pregnancy safe also. I use the acne.org aha+ lotion under my regular moisturizer every night and I'm glowing. Very acne prone. Tea tree oil burned my acne so bad I will never touch it again. Sulfer and glycolic are your best friends!!
I dilute my tea tree oil with water then use it as a spot treatment on my skin. I love the idea of it being a more natural product. I've read it to be antifungal as well as having antimicrobial properties which I think is great while looking for other uses of it when you have such a large amount of the oil (fungus of the nail, danduff, etc.) I find using tea tree oil every other night worked best for my skin as it would sometimes result in dryness in the area so I only use it as needed. I also use argan oil as a daily moisturizer but also to counteract the dryness that make occur upon application of the tea tree. Hope this helps 😊
I've always had acne and had a lot of breakouts during my pregnancy. I used teatree oil mixed in with coconut oil and vitamin E. Worked very well to help control things a bit. I just used that concoction as a moisturizer every night before bed. As far as I know it's considered safe for pregnancy and is a wonderful natural alternative to acne treatments.
Don't fret about your skin -- you're gorgeous! :D As for tea tree oil, I used to use it all the time for single breakouts. It works by drying out the breakout, but it's not as strong as a spot treatment could be. It used to (until my skin started resisting it) work wonders for my breakouts! You can also make a gentle toner with a few drops of tea tree oil, some witch hazel, and water. Good luck lovely!
I used tea tree oil for a long time, you should only use about 1 to 2 drops of it on a cotton pad and then water it down, since the oil is really intense. Hope that helps!
+amixeblu Agreed. As far as tea tree oil, there has been debate whether it is a hormone disruptor over the last decade. Last I heard, it was not, but you should google it. At least make sure it is USDA organic certified tea tree oil bc pesticides are not cool on the body. Clay is always nice--I like Kiehl's Clay Mask, and I have heard of people of buying clay powder and making a paste out of it by mixing with yogurt?
I have used Desert Essence Lavendar Tea tree oil, both as a spot treatment and mixed in with my argan oil at night. I find it useful as a treatment to treat breakouts at the onset. I also liked it mixed in with my argan oil. I mist some rose water on my face and then press the oil/ lavendar tea tree oil mixture onto my skin. This worked wonders on treating the acne and the hyperpigmentation that comes with it.
I've always loved tea tree oil on my acne, because benzoyl peroxide/ salicylic acid don't work on my stubborn skin. I've always used the Lush Grease Lightning which is a spot treatment with tea tree oil in it (because tea tree alone can be harsh on skin), so you might want to mix it with water or other oils to dilute it. But yes tea tree oil is my to go spot treatment for years now and it's the most natural/ healthy way too!!
Great video! And I love tea tree oil - I use it on all of my breakouts. The best way to use it is to drop some on a Q-tip and apply it to any blemishes (I do this after cleansing and toning and before moisturizing). The only "downside" I've found with it is that it seems to work really well on some people and not work at all on others
I love tea tree oil!! But pure tea tree is drying on me so I use the Lush tea tree water or Lush grease lightening gel cleanser. Both have tea tree but Its also mixed with aloe vera and grape so that adds some natural refreshing moisture. It's super gentle but effective!
I added tea tree oil into my face routine when I went off of antibiotics (for mild acne). It has definitely helped to keep my skin at bay. I mix a few drops into my moisturizer and although it has a strong smell, I find the odor completely fades away once I've put on makeup! Hope that helps :)
I haven't been through a pregnancy yet, but I love tea tree oil as a spot treatment for any breakouts! I have a small bottle with a twist off cap & when I use it, I dip a cotton swab and get some of the oil on it and dab it onto any pimples. The next day, the inflammation goes down quite a bit and dries out the breakout, shortening the time they are on your face. The scent is very strong, but I just do the process in the restroom and wait a few minutes before I hop into bed at night. Hope this helps & cannot wait for another preggy vlog 🤗💞
Oh yes, for your chest and back acne, try natural soaps with tea tree oil. Likewise for your hair, you can use a shampoo bar such as J.R. Liggett's Old Fashion Shampoo Bar (but caution here, the use of using a all natural shampoo will cause your hair to go through some detox which can be a yucky feeling initially). I get acne on my scalp too. Ever since I switched to a natural shampoo bar, I don't get pimples in my scalp any more and I can now wash my hair on alternate days instead of on a daily basis.
The Dessert Essence Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick works really well for break outs if you're looking for a natural remedy! It has a few other soothing oils in it too, so it's not 100% tea tree oil, & it clears up any spots within a couple of days :)
I used to be a massage therapist and would use tea tree oil in my laundry in place of bleach. It's a bit more pricey, but it has the same effect. I use it now to treat cuts, abrasions, any blemishes now. Just a cotton swab dipped into the solution and dabbed onto the area will do. Tea tree oil is very potent but effective.
I'm very acne prone too with sensitive skin and am sensitive to scents too. I've found that jojoba oil does the trick for me. At night, I'll gently rub a dab of oil (olive oil works too) into my acne areas for a little while and leave it overnight. then in the morning I'll cleanse well. usually the oil will help dry out the acne slowly and it is completely natural too. :) I hope this helps!
hey jen, I've been using tea tree oil for quite some time now and I usually use it on pimples that are red and sore. it really helps to soothe the redness and the soreness of it. I don't have to use an excessive amount of it tho, usually just dabbing a small amount on it twice a day. generally I don't break out that often and I have dry skin. I hope you find this helpful! good luck.
I love tea tree oil. I mix it straight up with witch hazel for its soothing properties, about 1-2 drops of oil per oz of withch hazel and use this as a daily toner. I don't have back acne, but some shampoos cause me troubles with my scalp, I dilute the shampoo equal parts with water and add about 2tspns of oil, it works like magic after 2 uses. I think you could mix it with a body wash on a separate container to use on your back in the shower. P.S. Don't let it get in any sensible-intimate areas, it will burn.
I've used tea tree oil A MILLION TIMES and it has so many ways of use and one way i used it when i used to go to primary school was to mix it with water and spray it on my hair to prevent lice as they supposedly hate the smell
JEN. U HAVE THE GLOW. THE PREGNANCY GLOW. GAHHH IM SO HAPPY FOR U AND SO EXCITED also. I also really enjoy the snore pacific cushion. But it's a bit heavy for me personally. I like the missha one too. I think it's the magic cushion I just love cushions
I have been using tea tree oil as a spot treatment for 2 years now and it works so well! You have to apply it more often but it really works! As far as pregnancy I had the same thing happen towards the last months of pregnancy and honestly hormonal acne is so much harder to treat but I'm sure it will help but because your body is so hormonal and crazy right now it's never going to completely disappear until your hormones balance back out after birth. I know it sucks I hated it but hang in there girl it will get better :)
Tea tree oil is amazing! Use it after you wash your face and massage it into your skin for about 5-10 mins then wash it off and apply moisturizer :) also when your skin is this sensitive oatmeal baths and face washes are really good for you! I hope this helps
i love tea tree oil! it's my go to spot treatment other than the mario bedescu drying lotion :) it really calms my acne/pimples and shrinks it by the next morning. I don't really have much issues with the smell though but i do know of people who can't handle it. I would mix a few drops in my moisturiser to apply it to my whole face, and go in with a cotton bud drenched in tea tree oil on the zits! but do note that it will cause redness and irritations on more sensitive areas. my upper lip is quite sensitive and it was all red and flaky when i used tea tree oil on it once. hahaha hope this helps!! and congrats on your pregnancy Jen!
Propolis is great for acne prone skin if you are not allergic to bees or pollen. If you buy the liquid one you can definitely use it on your face. Dissolve it on a pad with water and swipe your face. It kills bacteria under the skin!
To prevent my back from breaking out I clip up my hair when I put conditioner in, remove the clip, rinse it out and then put it up again to scrub my back. It's time consuming but effective!
Hi Jen, you should dilute the tea tree oil with aloe vera gel if its too strong for you.. I normally just use 1-2 drop with a dollop of aloe vera gel and mix it on my hand with a cotton swab! I don't use all of it though but it does help to heal the pimple without being too harsh. :)
Hi Jen! When I was pregnant with my son, I used products from the company Spoiled Mama. They make lovely products that are organic and pregnancy safe. They have one in particular for breakouts that you should look into!
I have oily skin that is not sensitive (I know yours is?), what I can give advice on about tea tree oil is that the scent is something you get use to, almost to the point that you aren't very conscious of the smell! I usually apply it directly on my blemishes and just pat it on but once again, we have different skin types so I don't know if that is too harsh because I do feel as though it has a cooling effect when I put it on
I had really bad back-acne and my OBGYN okay'd OTC benzoyl peroxide wash on my back since she said it won't penetrate the dermis layer since it's not on the skin long enough. Do not use salicylic acid though in any form!! rub it on, wash it off immediately. My acne went away and my daughter was born perfectly healthy!
It's works well to get a clean wash cloth and add some tea tree oil with warm/hotish water and use it as a warm compress on your chest and back acne. The heat helps you fight the infections in your skin and the tea tree oil works to help in the long run. I would only do this once or twice a week.
During my pregnancy, I used tea tree oil in replacement of Benzoyl Peroxide and Differin cream prescribed by my Dermatologist for acne. I use a cotton bud with a few drops of tea tree oil and dab it directly on the acne. Best to patch test if you have any sensitivity to tea tree oil as it can be quite potent on the skin. It's great for insects bite too. In addition, I use a 5% strength tea tree oil mixed in with Argan oil (which is a dry oil and does not clog pores) as my moisturiser. (I have combination to oily skin and live in a tropical country). Some research has shown that a 5% strength tea tree oil has the same effect as Benzoyl Peroxide. I have since ditched my Benzyl Peroxide. U can add the tea tree oil to your toner - DIY green tea and tea tree oil toner. You can try an Apple Cider Vinegar toner which helps to exfoliate the skin and help with the acne.
+Sofie Linnea I recommend using it as a spot treatment, depending on how high of a concentration it is. But it is quite strong, even as an essential oil. It stings and can make your face red. When I had bad acne, if I had a whitehead I'd wait for the proper time to pop it, get some tea tree oil on a cue-tip, dab it on, and it would dry it out so quickly. But it does work a lot better if you're exposing the pimple, such as popping it.
+Sofie Linnea yes! my skin cleared so so much when I used it consistently. why use it to treat acne when you can use it to prevent acne? also u save on the product too. you only need one or 2 teaspoons of it with 2 oz of water. Some people add witch hazel to it too.
The Body Shop actually has a line specifically made of Tea Tree Oil! It's worked wonders for my face and the smell isn't over bearing when you use the products. The only one that is, is the spot treatment because it has the highest percentage of the oil. They always have sales on their website and they have the line at Ulta too!
first of all, I am so happy for you and your family!!! I'm sure the baby will be gorgeous!!! you are one of my UA-cam favorites. I use teatree oil everyday when I do my face routine. because of the strong scent it is best to use it at night. for bacacne or shoulder and chest acne, it you have a extra big pimple, you apply the oil on the spot then, cover it with a band-aid overnight. in the morning I see that the pimples are all smoothed out.
Loved this video! As a mommy of a 4 yo, 2 yo, and another due in August I can say that tea tree oil will become a household staple. I don't have acne issues (yet!) but I love tea tree oil for its many uses. Because it's so pungent, pests and lice don't like it. I mix a drop or two in the water spray bottle I use when I comb my daughters' hair to ward them off and I also use it as a bug repellant in a pinch. Good luck to you!
While my acne on my face was extremely problematic I used body shop tea tree line. They have a foam face wash and a gel one as well as a tea tree oil serum I recommend the gel wash and the serum! Totally changed my skin
I also suffer from hormonal acnes & most acne medication out there (salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide) dries my skin out and leave my pimple scars flaky... But I started using tea tree oil about 2 years ago and I've never used anything else ever since. They just work, very natural, and doesn't dry my skin out :)
For tea tree oil, it's great for a ton of things. BUT, if you're going to use it on your skin, definitely dilute it in a carrier oil or something as it is so strong it can cause more damage if you use it straight up.
I found that tea tree oil works very well for acné, I use it both to prevent acne (apply it around my hairline) and I dab it on spots. it really does help with clearing my skin (and making it more even) I only use it at night because of the smell though. I also really enjoy the Lush breath of fresh air toner, it also helps to keep my skin clear. You should try it (just spritz some on your hand and dab it on the face)
I agree with those recommending diluting it in water for a spray (this is what I use for my toner), or mixing it in a carrier oil like jojoba or rose hip, whichever you like better.
Jen, Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and works great for acne treatment. NEVER USE Tea tree Essential oil directly on skin, or just apply very small amount topically and appropriately with Q-tips. Just a small amount can penetrate the skin to unblock the sebaceous glands, so alway apply the oil to clean skin. Best way is to mix few drops with a carrier oil, or water or lotion to ward off the acnes. btw you look so cute ...💖❤️
you should try lush's grease lightning. it's a kind of clear serum-y kind of texture that cleans out your pores and it's definitely helped my acne a lot. I don't know how it will work with your pregnancy, but knowing lush is basically all natural products, it probably will work just fine with you
I've never used tea tree oil for acne but it works so well for fungal control. For example on dandruff or I've used it for a weird oil-secreting bump that I kept squeezing on my scalp which made it worse and bigger. After one use it was significantly better and eventually went away.
I used the Peter Thomas Roth sulphur mask during my pregnancy for break outs and it was a life saver for me being very acne prone. It does have a strong smell as well though but it works!
I haven't used it yet so I can't say how effective it might be. But I've heard Kate Somerville products being wonderful so I thought I'd give her line a try. I typically get hormonal breakouts and scar me pretty bad. The acne eradicate is a topical spot treatment and the active ingredient is sulfur. I believe that's safe for pregnancy if you wanted to give it a go. Good luck! My first one I broke out like constantly it was bad. With my second I had extremely dry skin and no breakouts really. It's tough when your skin changes drastically with each pregnancy.
I used the Lush tea tree spray for a while and loved it. It really did help keep my breakouts at bay when I was trying to take a break from benzoyl peroixde
I loved the Mario Badescu drying cream for a spot treatment during my pregnancy. It's sulfa based and I also noted an increase in hormonal spots during my first trimester.
I've never used just tea-tree oil before but I used products that have tea-tree oil in them! The number 1 thing I've heard about it is that you shouldn't use it on its own. Maybe mix it into a serum or moisturizer to disperse it better and dilute it a bit!
I personally use the tea tree oil (from the Body Shop) straight up for spot treating. Put a drop on a finger and hold it to an acne spot until you feel the burn. The spot will crust over and go down in size after a few days. With your sensitive skin though, add a little bit of water! Also, there's a tea tree oil shampoo out in the world called Tea Tree (I think) by Paul Mitchell if you're interested =)
Teatree oil works well in the beginning but later on it was as if my skin was getting resistant to it. Im using all natural propolis balm . Its a very good anti inflammatory medicinal product so when i apply it overnight as soon as i see a breakout its gone or smaller in the morning.
I added a few drops of Jurlique Lavender oil into my moisturizer to treat acne while I was pregnant. It worked wonders for me. You could also add lavender oil into your shampoo and body wash. I hope it would work on you too.
Make sure to mix only a few drops with water and then use it on your face like a toner! Tea tree oil on its own is to strong for you sensitive facial skin, good luck❤️
Tea tree oil is my go to for acne remedies!! It cleared my sister up, and she was considering going on Accutane... and I've been using tea tree oil since then. The Body Shop has a toner that I love using!!
Tea Tree Oil is the best for getting rid of acne spots!! I usually put a little bit on a Q-tip and dab the spots on my face. I use the one from the Body Shop, and I can confirm that it's amazing :)
i find tea tree oil is something I like to add to a face mask. What I like to do is mix some honey, a bag of green tea, a bag of chamomile tea, a few drops of tea tree oil, one or two drops of peppermint oil, and a quarter cup of rolled oats. I then chuck it in a blender and pulverise it into a paste. I use it like a mask and i usually get a few uses out of it (or i freeze to use another time).
Tea tree oil is amazing. My husband had ring worm and his jiu jitsu friend suggested he use tea tree oil to treat it. It works really well! I also use it for my acne and recently I had some burn blisters. It really is effective. They sell it at Trader Joe's (at least the one in Orlando does) and it's most affordable there (I believe it's around 5 or 6 dollars).
I used to have the worst hormonal back acne and I tried basically everything on it (including tea tree oil) but the ONLY thing that's worked for me is the Alaffia Authentic African Black Soap body wash in the Eucalyptus & Tea Tree variety. It's seriously incredible. It's super inexpensive and doesn't try your skin out. You can get it at Whole Foods.
I always use the tea tree oil mixed into my moisturiser!!! it works wonderfully! you should try it :) you're gonna be used to the scent later on :) it grew on me! I used to hate it, now i love it hehe
my dermatologist recommended glycolic acid or sulfur-based products to treat acne during pregnancy. also, you may want to dilute the tea tree oil and not put it directly on our face. you can mix a drop into your cleanser or toner. hope that helps.
I was using the Lush Tea Tree Oil spray and I didn't find that it was all that helpful. I stopped using it after about 4 weeks. I can't be sure, but I actually think it was making my clogged pores worse. I also didn't appreciate the smell. Thanks for your great videos and makeup tips!
Some one mentioned earlier the, Bare Minerals Blemish Therapy. My first pregnancy I had a lot of facial acne, especially around the chin. I too wanted to avoid salycilic acid and other harsher products. I came across this product and really liked it. Three kids later and I am still using it for sny spot breakouts that I get.
I have had bad acne as well, I found what hoped the most is coconut oil mixed with a couple drops of frankincense essential oil. I just melted down a cup of coconut oil and then added the essential oil and then let it harden again. a little goes a long way!!
Aww I could already see that her face is getting a little chubby cause of the pregnancy. So cute ^^
Agree :)
+Kpop_Luv99 I was just going to mention that lol, it's so cute!
Where can I order the Aztec one??
+JULIA M Amazon.com has it along with some other online stores :) www.amazon.com/Aztec-Secret-Indian-Healing-Cleansing/dp/B0014P8L9W
i really like the body shop tea tree oil. their whole line has really helped with my skin.
Thanks for your great videos!
i used the whole tea tree line from thebodyshop and I love it. my acne is so much less now and controllable.
Do watch out with Essential Oils when you're pregnant, though! :) Not all are safe!

Agreed.
African black soap also is a natural way to get rid of body acne! I've never used it on my face, but it works for me to get rid of bacne!
Where can u get that?
That YSL lipstick looks sooo beautiful on you! Will definitely pick it up now! 😍💕💕
I hope you're pregnancy is treating you well!! I notice your face is fuller and you have that glow!! Love you Jenn!
:) I hope this helps!
hey jen,
I've been using tea tree oil for quite some time now and I usually use it on pimples that are red and sore. it really helps to soothe the redness and the soreness of it.
Fabulous favs my friend!! 🙌
Witch Hazel worked wonders on my pregnancy breakouts!!💕
You look great Jen, hoping the pregnancy is going well! Good health!
I usually apply it directly on my blemishes and just pat it on but once again, we have different skin types so I don't know if that is too harsh because I do feel as though it has a cooling effect when I put it on
I've used tea tree oil and it works very well for my breakouts. I recommend checking with your doctor about using it while you are pregnant.
+grcrgn This also feels really nice on your feet btw! I had really swollen ankles from a long hike and it was heaven!
I put tea tree oil with a lot of water and keep it in a travel mist bottle and spray it all over acne areas and my pillow case.
Does it work??
Jen your skin looks so glowy!!😍 There's a lotion from the body shop called tea tree blemish fade lotion and it works sooo well!!
first of all, I am so happy for you and your family!!!
Makeup collection needed!!! Your set up looks amazing
Hi, Jen! On most essential oils, there's a warning that says to consult doctors when using during pregnancy because of the potency.
I used tea tree oil while pregnant for acne. Fell in love and have been using it ever since!
I agree with those recommending diluting it in water for a spray (this is what I use for my toner), or mixing it in a carrier oil like jojoba or rose hip, whichever you like better.
Amorepacific cushion is a good choice. Try the time response cushion (green one) as well, u would love that too
Jen, Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and works great for acne treatment.
I use pure Tea Tree oil multiple times a week. Just put some on a qtip & spot treat or mix in a drop or 2 with my night cream. Helps a lot!
You always recommend great products
You are glowing Jen. So beautiful. ❤️
I love tea tree oil...Body Shop has a tea tree oil mask that's amazing. My face feels smooth and fresh every time I use it
I've never used just tea-tree oil before but I used products that have tea-tree oil in them!
I use The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Toner! It really helps with keeping my breakouts down, I recommend it!
