I love Bundaberg doesnt use plastic bottles. Glass bottle or aluminium can preserve the taste better and more environmentally friendly. Please keep using glass bottle !!!!!
glass yes def, aluminum cans are all coated on the inside with plastic these days and who wants to drink plastic that dissolves under the acidity of sugar and ginger? When al cans are recycled they are soaked in a chemical base to dissolve the plastic away then the chemical is discarded, where its discarded nobody knows. Dig a hole, down the drain? Hardly good for the environment.
Agree love Bundaberg and everything is better in a glass bottle. I was surprised to learn though that glass bottles actually have a greater environmental impact than plastic bottles! Silica mining, more energy required for production, harder to recycle into other things etc. There are a few Australian companies now selling wine in plastic bottles and the whole selling point is they're more environmentally friendly than glass. Cans are the best. Just a little FYI for anyone reading
Ages ago Bundaberg was exporting to South Korea. Being the Aussie that I am I had purchased a few of those and was driving down the street when a cop saw me and the brown bottle and pulled me over. I owe a lot to the person who translated their label into Korean.
On a similar note I recall walking to a bus depot in Adelaide drinking a Bundaberg® Ginger Beer to start a driving shift. I waved to each passing bus driver who must have thought that I was 'not all there' so to speak. No issue up in Rockhampton now...we are subject to a mandatory breath test everytime instead of randomly. Cheers 🍺 from Vietnam 👍
A friend popped a tab for me when I was at his place in 7-8 years ago. The root beer was frickkin delicious. At that time in Malaysia, they were only available at upscale supermarkets. Today, they are everywhere in the country. Thanks for covering the story behind the company.
I love the original ginger flavor, I love the fact they keep using glass and not plastic, and now that I heard how they operate their business I respect them even more!
As a Kiwi, I hesitate to give too much praise to you Aussies... but Bundaberg is a special exception, no other ginger beer I've ever had has been even remotely as good as the Bundaberg stuff, and the special spiced ginger beer is a family staple of ours during the holidays. And that's to say nothing of any of their other drinks, all of which I've had have been equally fantastic.
Ginger Beer and Sarsaparilla…the two best Bundaberg soft drinks ever!!! ❤ They have the best soft drinks in Qld. Most of the old small town Qld soft drink factories are gone now, only a few left…Bundaberg, Whitbreads, Wimmers are the 3 I know that still survive and are still keeping their formulas to the original. Tristrams is gone now and Kirks sadly sold out to Coca Cola Amatil and is now so damned generic…their old flavours are completely gone. 😢
Lived away from Australia for a decade and I've had one in Edinburgh, London, Amsterdam, Gdansk, Stuttgart... Always get a kick when I see them in store living in Europe
Never knew or heard of it but they sell them in Ireland. Lovely glass bottles with a pull off cap. Now i live in Australia and I’ve visited. Great story as Bundaburg town itself hasn’t got the best reputation
Been hearing them shouted out in podcasts from around the world! Mango passion fruit is my favourite! They’re all the best version of their flavours though. B
I love Bundaberg, except I have problems getting the metal cap off! sometimes it's easy or not, I bought a drink and unable to pull ring and had to ask shop to open it for me. Bottle instructions says turn bottle up side down, it works sometimes but now I carry a bottle opener just in case!
Please explain me what is the label: "Energy 735kJ DI 8% per 375ml serve"? I thought 8% meant the percentage of alcohol, but everywhere I look it's described as "non-alcoholic drink", regardless it's probably the tastiest drink that I've ever drunk.
Love this amazing company, so.many cold.glass bottles after a hot.day.at the beach in Sydney,. keep trying new flavours like lemon and lychee in my Vodka, if you could perfect it please 🎉🎉🎉 thanks to the Flemming family.
Its good to see them supporting the local economy. Maybe they can go a step further and support local indigenous communities. After all it is their land that gives them their success.
Fair point. I think Australia blissfully forgets what governments did to get access to all that land. The 1992 Mabo High Court decision is Australia’s reminder that the land was in fact stolen.

Glass is best. Aluminium no good, taints product.
Glass is worse for the environment than aluminium.
@@David-ng2qg Aluminium cans have a plastic inline IIRC? Hopefully biodegradable plastic and not fossil fuel oil based.
The best ginger beer that I have ever tasted.
FAX!
Unfortunately they have changed it somehow it’s not the same as it used to be years ago . Still decent though I will admit
Agreed!
Fantastic Aussie success story supporting local Aussies & giving back to Bundy! Good onya guys 👍 👍
Found Bundaberg ginger beer in Springfield Ohio this week, a sight for sore eyes for my expat kids!😊
Mate, Jungle Jim’s stock it. Every time I’m over in Cincy, I drop in.
be careful with your pets!

The passionfruit one is the most refreshing thing in existence
They are weirdly transparent and open about their business decisions
Bundaberg Passionfruit & Guava flavour will always be my favourites such a treat!
Here in New Zealand, Bundaberg Ginger Beer is my favourite go to drink. Every time.

Oh man, I 😍 their Blood Orange one. But Ginger Beer is still the King.
"good thing that boat didn't go down"
HA! Good point.
I loved the Pineapple Flavour, but they now mix it with Coconut, 🥵
Do love the Passionfruit flavour & Traditional Lemonade😊
Bundaberg is my favourite brand of root beer. I'm from Singapore : )
As a Kiwi, I hesitate to give too much praise to you Aussies... but Bundaberg is a special exception, no other ginger beer I've ever had has been even remotely as good as the Bundaberg stuff, and the special spiced ginger beer is a family staple of ours during the holidays. We’ve bought these drinks in France.
Ive always loved Bundaberg drinks, and now i love them more. very cool.
the lemonade one is the best by far!!!
Love the ginger beer ✌🏽
Had Bunderberg when growing up in NZ… what a great company.
Ginger Beer and Sarsaparilla…the two best Bundaberg soft drinks ever!!! ❤ They have the best soft drinks in Qld. Bring back Horehound. Thankfully, we get Bundy drinks here in Thailand, a little taste of home.
I have been screaming this for years!
Good success story .. good products.
We have this in Norway 🇳🇴
That’s awesome, how common is it to find?
nothing tastes better than bunderberg soda. The grapefruit one is so good
Always loved the Bundaberg soft drinks. All flavours but the ginger is my favourite. So glad I can find it in the Philippines, a life saver!
Bunderberg is steeped in early aerated mineral waters ❤and theirs some very rare and early local makers of soft drinks 🎉
The best drinks out there
Best drink ever!!
Bought a four-pack of the tropical mango today when shopping. It is insanely good.
I just wish someone would brew Horehound again.
Awsome, well done
An Australia classic!
Well done Bundaberg Brewed Drinks (especially the Ginger Beer) :)
I alays have my fridge full of Bunaberg Ginger Ale. Always. j.
I love bundaberg beer when i was little my dad would get it for me, so it made me feel i was having a stubbie with my dad. Still love it.
Having my first Bundaberg Ginger Beer is a great memory. A+ Quality fizzy drink.
THEY TASTE SO DAMN GOOD! 👍
Lived away from Australia for a decade and I've had one in Edinburgh, London, Amsterdam, Gdansk, Stuttgart... Always get a kick when I see them in store living in Europe
I loved visiting this place!
Their portello is my fave! Lovely little brewery and tour as well 😊
Keeping the production of the drink, and using local growers where possible, is a remarkable thing, keeping down "food miles".
It's the way ahead.
I was amazed to find Bundaberg soft drinks in Oregon in 2018.
Never knew or heard of it but they sell them in Ireland. Lovely glass bottles with a pull off cap. Now i live in Australia and I’ve visited. Great story as Bundaburg town itself hasn’t got the best reputation
Why did they stop making apple cider?
Passion fruit is my favorite flavor 😊
Fantastic
The best soft drinks hands down. The guava flavour is my favourite
Been hearing them shouted out in podcasts from around the world! Mango passion fruit is my favourite! They’re all the best version of their flavours though. B
All their drinks are delicious
Great company , great drinks
There burgundy creaming soda is no joke the best creaming soda
I'm addicted to their ginger beer - I get one every day on the way to work
I’ve been drinking the Ginger Beer for years after living in Brisbane from 1992 to 1996.
Great Drinks
I went on a Contiki trip in 2015 and was shocked to see it on multiple shelves of little grocery stores from the Czech Republic to Poland
No Ginger beer can top a Bundy
Proper Aussie business
I was there a few weeks ago :)
I remember watching a 'Tested' youtube video with Adam Savage. He reached of screen for a drink and it was Bundaburg Ginger Beer
Yes!
They should bring back Horehound.
They’re just yummy thats all. Ginger beers the hook.
my fave one is the passionfruit!! and the green bottle one (forgot the name)
Lemon lime and bitters
The Grapefruit juice one is so hard to find!
Been a long time fan of their drinks. However was very disappointed when they canceled the brewed apple cider. That was my favourite.
Do you export to Boston, Massachusetts, USA ?
I love Bundaberg, except I have problems getting the metal cap off! sometimes it's easy or not, I bought a drink and unable to pull ring and had to ask shop to open it for me. Bottle instructions says turn bottle up side down, it works sometimes but now I carry a bottle opener just in case!
ginger beer aside their other flavours are just too sweeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttt!!!!!
I love Bundaberg pls send me some :D
Root beer is top level too
real talk tho. Bundy cola needs to be a thing. could you imagine the colab with Bundy Rum?
They do collaborate. That's where the dark and stormy Bundy comes from. I think they have done a couple of others too.
Miss the old ginger beer, much more gingeryer
Do halls next
I would often drink Root Beer and Horehound, but both have disappeared from shelves. Please brew these again.
No mention of the Pacific Islander workers filling in the gap of workers.
Please explain me what is the label: "Energy 735kJ DI 8% per 375ml serve"? I thought 8% meant the percentage of alcohol, but everywhere I look it's described as "non-alcoholic drink", regardless it's probably the tastiest drink that I've ever drunk.
DI = Daily intake. So 1 drink is worth 8% of the average adult calorie intake.
Bring back peachee!!!
Burgandie creaming soda is the best
We can get it here in the Philippines
Love this amazing company, so.many cold.glass bottles after a hot.day.at the beach in Sydney,. keep trying new flavours like lemon and lychee in my Vodka, if you could perfect it please 🎉🎉🎉 thanks to the Flemming family.
Tropical mango the best
make something that people like and dont change it
Its good to see them supporting the local economy. Maybe they can go a step further and support local indigenous communities. After all it is their land that gives them their success.
Fair point. I think Australia blissfully forgets what governments did to get access to all that land. The 1992 Mabo High Court decision is Australia’s reminder that the land was in fact stolen.
That's what taxes should be for
Well said
Supermannnnn
Still sad they no longer offer the Apple Cider or RC Cola anymore...
Right, right...
Can't go past a Bundy ginger beer.
