After the Murphy's returned home from Orlando Florida, perhaps Mitch Murphy was asking his parents questions like "mom and dad, why did this happen as we were on vacation?", "were any of my toys stolen?", "do you have extra money to replace my stolen toys?", "are we going to get an alarm system for the house?"
Or if possible the Mcallisters.I can just imagine Kate,Peter,and the kids freaking out after seeing their house robbed and flooded. That house likely doesn’t sell for cheap,some really nice stuff in that house too. No wonder Harry called it the Silver Tuna.
If you look carefully, @ :11 you can see a gold shamrock ☘️ on the shelf of the cabinet Marv is robbing from, DUH! With a name like Murphy, OF COURSE Kevin’s neighbors across the street would have such a household decoration!

However, Harry did say to Marv on the second film that they should be more interested in robbing cash instead of goods. Plus, as they were robbing "Duncan's Toy Chest", Harry said "robbing all this money makes me wonder why we spent so much time robbing houses."
