    Thank You Pauline for this video on how to use Hobbs batting. Looking forward to using it. I'm working on a quilt right now. And have batting of a previous brand. Which doesn't have adhesive on it double-sided.Wish It did. I purchased it before I knew about Hobbs batting. So I have to spray it on, but when I use all of this batting that I already have. I'm planning on buying the hobbs batting. Because from this video it looks wonderful just to be able to iron on your quilt top, and bottom piece, then quilt and applique.

    I bought the book,shashing set, glue and pen. And Hobbs batting. The book was much smaller than I expected for the price I paid. Like you tutorials.

    Thanks Pauline, for all your great tutorials. Over the years, whenever I happen to be in Melbourne, I have bought quite a number of items from your stall at craft fairs but never took them out to use except my clover seam ripper! I bought the portable ironing pad and the mesh transfer but never use them the way they should. Now that I have discovered your channel, I am so much more confident in using these tools. I have just watched your tutorial on the Duo Tool. Fab!
    I have one question - battting. Using the double sided fusible batting sounds like a dream as I wouldn’t have to deal with pins. But most of the quilt I make are for daily use as thorws and cuddling (I make them bigger than throw/lap quilt sizes). Would that batting be warm enough as I would like them to double up as blankets on the bed.

      I am thrilled to know you are starting to use the tools you have purchased from me over the years. I am finding my videos are a hit as people can now see up close how to use them. and watch as many times are you want.
      Yes the batting is a warm as every other batting and it is so nice to use, it also washes superbly in the washing machine.
      Cheers Pauline

      @PQWQuilting  Рік тому +1

      Yes, it is! you can find it on my website www.pqw.com.au the pattern is called Lo Lo's Quilt . It is a Quilt As You Go quilt that has all the templates for the pieced blocks as well as templates for the applique blocks.
      It is a lovely quilt to make.
      Enjoy , Pauline
      PS there is also a video on my UA-cam channel on all the finer tips on making the quilt.

    The batting is pretty thin I am thinking.

    • @PQWQuilting
      @PQWQuilting  2 роки тому +1

      Yes the batting is quite thin but when you wash the quilt it puffs right up and is very warm and cuddly .
