I can totally hear why the speech recognition system would think she said twelve, eleven and even nine. But it's also very obvious the system comes from more primitive times when it couldn't handle accents. 😅
I mean its not her fault, that early voice recognition in the Dreamcast days was shit, Novel but shit. I remember when it started becoming mainstream when you'd call into businesses like UPS for help and it would do the same shit if your cadence or pronunciation wasn't close to whatever small sample pool they used. It only really got to usable levels recently and it still sucks. Edit: also its hilarious that He mentions Joseph Conrad, Someone who didn't speak English fluently til their 20's but was still noted for being a master at prose.
