Shadowman is one of my favorite games of all time. I've been meaning to do a super in depth review of it like I do with my others for a while, only thing stopping me is some really bad recording output for some reason but once I get that fixed I'm gonna make a big one on it. I always feel like the term underappreciated is overused for alot of older games despite them being what I play 90% of the time lol. But this one is 110% worthy of that title. Everything about it is nearly perfect. And I'm super thankful that my bois at Nightdive are taking an effort for this one. Do you have any social media if you don't mind me asking?
This looks just amazing. Just found this video after searching for the original Shadow Man Remaster trailer by Valiant. Even though the remaster is looking really good (even better if it's just the alpha) i really would love to see the game with these new assets and lighting, it looks amazing! Also on a side note, i liked the concept of enemies not attacking you in the beggining, just sobbing and lamenting their stay in dead side, brings a more creepy vibe to it and also introduces you to the early enemies in the game. This feature would do for a remake and i really doubt Valiant will do it. This project looks amazing, i hope you can keep going at it until your desired final result!

I also had all enemies just sitting still because I don't know animations lol. I'm really excited about the official remaster!

It doesn't have to be perfectly realistic but this is giving off a comic style which is fitting because this game came from a comic series by Valiant Entertainment.

some said not to buy this game with n64. its amasing made. they did like lara croft but setting in games makes it better to get trough. and with everdrive 64 you can enable cheat codes. thi game are lovely. if it gets out its just like doom 3 bfg on rhyphnol. hope you getting it trough the PORTS .its easier to come trough on n64 with cheat enabler. you got lava swim gage enabled. if you dont want to truble with frustrating last lava swim you enable to get swim gadget when you start the game. all items too or just jump to all open places collect items and play like a boss at end with 2x *violators* a nother word for it with i inside.

Heres my take do with it what you will The baton should be able to slash and have a kindof flaming wave follow its slashes The flam Blu should be an actual flame thrower The Skeleton spiney stick should stay the same and make lock on throwable grenades. My whole thing is that this fucken game uses too much fire and its all the same I think ok if you want to do fire fine just make it unique to the property of the weapon. BECAUSE I just finished this game for the 1st time on the n64 and the worst part was the mundain BS of the same fucken weapon. you either use your pew pew gun or you just roll with the fucken 4 flame weapons like woooooooooo fire. I know you got the sheild or the minigun thing but i didnt even get the mini gun cuz i had enough. I think this game had the potential of being something unique but the script wasnt gonna save it where the weapons should have fucken done so. I like the hopless back drop of the abyss and going into some of these lvls like the underground city where the light holds no place but to iluminate the horrors of the machines. Anyway up to you dude. I respect your love for something enough to recreate it. Good luck.

VINI GAMER SP lots of hard work and passion. Unity is a great engine. I like Maya for modeling, Mudbox for sculpting, photoshop etc.

My whole thing is that this fucken game uses too much fire and its all the same
I think ok if you want to do fire fine just make it unique to the property of the weapon.
BECAUSE I just finished this game for the 1st time on the n64 and the worst part was the mundain BS of the same fucken weapon. you either use your pew pew gun or you just roll with the fucken 4 flame weapons like woooooooooo fire. I know you got the sheild or the minigun thing but i didnt even get the mini gun cuz i had enough.
I think this game had the potential of being something unique but the script wasnt gonna save it where the weapons should have fucken done so. I like the hopless back drop of the abyss and going into some of these lvls like the underground city where the light holds no place but to iluminate the horrors of the machines.
Anyway up to you dude. I respect your love for something enough to recreate it. Good luck.

i came back to see this video after watching nightdives remaster trailer and im really dissapointed comparing the quality of work put in by Kevinlongtime. this is a true remaster and if one person can do this ....nightdive should be able to or better of just hire you. thank you for this art piece .

I don't like it, looks weird and less horror, more like Horizon or something.
