One thing I noticed, sunsets last a long time on Calgary, probably because is a great plain.

Yes in summer we get lot of day light time.

No that’s not the reason. It’s because Calgary is further North in latitude than most cities. So the summer day light hours are longer.

Are you looking for a house under $400 K? and do you want c-train access within walking distance? Only curious. I'm not selling anything, I know the city in the S.E. quadrant. Houses there are more expensive in general but there are some that are possible and are good I would guess for sure.
