APPLE PIE Muffins with Cinnamon Crumbs

- These muffins are a simple, yet delicious, combination of 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, an egg, and milk.
The dry ingredients are one cup of flour, sugar, baking powder, and and a pinch of salt.
Mix everything together and place them in a muffin tray lined with muffin cups. Bake them and the outcome is incredible.

I tweaked the recipe and waited until the next day to enjoy so all the flavors would settle. They are exquisite! This yielded 12 muffins and 5 mini muffins. Thank you for sharing! The changes I made are:
I added just a hint more of baking powder.
Instead of 3/4 c sugar I used 2/3 c. sugar.
I sprinkled apple pie spice all over the apples before coating with the flour.
I added 1 tsp of Madagascar vanilla and 1/8 almond extract to the wet ingredients.
I let the mixture sit together for about 5 mins.
I just made these muffins today. I used brown sugar for this recipe and honey crisp apples. I also cut down the topping to 1/3 cup instead since there was 11 muffins. This recipe was absolutely delicious 😋 I loved the chunks of apples and it tastes exactly like an apple pie!

Made this today! Definitely yummy! I didn't have muffin liners, so put it directly in the muffin tin. I'd suggest sticking to 22 mins exactly because mine kind of over baked a little without the lining. I don't usually deviate from the original recipe, but only had Granny Smith apples, they worked just fine. It's awesome without the crumble as well. Next will reduce the sugar a little bit so I can put ice cream on top!

Muffins are in the oven yay! I messed up on the crumble. I had melted and I thought that it would work with the flour and the spice to make a crumble, but it was a big floppy mess. I should have used the cold cubed butter like you did.

Hi! I tried this recipe but I had one problem with it. I don't know if it's because I'm from Europe or the oil I was using but the cupcakes only tasted like oil. I don't really like them because of that but I think if I tried this with butter or something else it would turn out fine. I don't usually comment on stuff but I thought someone might want to know that the taste of the oil is very overpowering (though it might just be my mistake and I used the wrong oil :D).
