From Battle Analyzer, Bey Pointer and Bey Logger. I think it is safe to say we might see an accessory in Generation X that will be designed to track Wins and Losses
3:07 probably the reason why the Anime starting with Bakuhatsu / Metal Masters never really made the beypoint cards as a major plot device for the next season because they pretty much only function to be used in arcade campaigns. And not helping that starting from S2 beyond almost every new characters introduced there used this card along with the new 3 segment grip, yet never once it became significant like the original beypointer was. Meanwhile old characters that used the old pointer still kept theirs, even tho beypointers lost significance at that point.
Yep because at world championship there's no point reqruirements like battle bladers. And yeah if you watch metal fury when Ryuga disappear, he still keep his beypointer.
They did this with the beyloggers, only issue is that theyre not affordable and theyre usually japan exclusives. If they offered more than just a tracking system theyd sell like hotcakes
So the actual reason why the Beypointer was replaced with the card is that it was stupid easy to cheat with the pointer. Every pointer starts with 1000 beypoints so if you and a buddy just transfer all 1000 from one pointer to another, you can just “factory reset” the empty one and it will open with the original starting 1000 points. Boom, you just got a free 1000 points. The card was easier to manage since players couldn’t trade points on their own anymore, so rankings would be more accurate
I bought the BeyPointer/BeyPoint Card and BeyLogger just for the aesthetics so I have the same launcher set up as in the anime. Never used the actual features. 😅
Considering how weak the pin connection was whenever you needed to exchange points with another player, I don’t find it all that surprising that the Beypointer (and similar accessories) dropped off the radar rather quickly. Don’t get me wrong; I’d love to see a newer/improved version of the Beypointer be introduced. But there’d need to be some significant changes made to how the device functions in order to be useful. (Speaking of which…a multifunction Beypointer would be really cool. Imagine if it could keep track of not only your Bey Points, but also your Bey’s current RPM, how many battles you’ve won/lost, or even the overall performance stats and parts of your Bey. That would be awesome.)
"This isn't a burst." You're right. It's the old version of it called a "Crash Out." I only ever saw it in games, but apparently it WAS a thing, so Burst ain't something new as i thought it was. As a kid, i wish I had one of those. Since I'm a US baby, I never got the bey pointer, but i always wanted one.
Had the beypoint card and the original beypointer (though it lost battery), kinda a rare accessory that was very sought after back in the day and its kinda more of a novelty item to flex in a tournament event.
6:39 that was a satisfying launch and the beypointer never really have like a point system...like how much points do u lose after a beybattle type thing...or did it. i never had one
I think it would cool If for the X generation. All the beys have their own little unique ntf chip or something, and you could link it to your phone with an app and that would track your wins, losses, rpm and etc.
the battle pass thing is really making me hope theres some like, idk bey subscription service? like idk it would probably be japan exclusive but im sure it would be like, get a certain milestone of whatever points, probable from buying other beyblades and stuff and then you get free beys, or accessories, or exclusive re-colers or something. idk, seems like they have some vigor for the reboot since its so close after burst though, maybe they have some really fun stuff in mind.
The duo launcher for the OG plastic gen was great until Hasbro decided to get lazy with them. By a certain point, the only reason to get one was for the extended ripcord. However, I did get one duo launcher for the MFB generation and it was really good. Sadly, it did not come with an extended ripcord.
I think, at this point with the near complete ubiquity of smart phones, that a mobile app would make by far the most sense, since it saves the cost of research and development, and manufactring of hardware that only does one thing, and the app will run on a device with advanced enoug audio-visual capabilities that it can deliver some fairly rich content, particularly adverts for new products, and potentially some kind of subscription service. An app will potentially pay for itself even if it's offered for free to the end-user, and has a lot more potential to add value to the customer than an electronic toy in the same price-range as the other products.
Bb x needs to make them smaller. Bring back the mechanical aspects and the plastic water design. Make better staidiums that cater to each bb type. Make rip cords longer. Put a grip in every box. For starters.
Do you know, there are some code or combination of numbers that you can input into the pointer. And then it will give you some points. Some are 100 pts some are 30ish points.
Here is my way of pointing thing if Beyblade X were to bring the pointers back… Survivor Finish - 500 pts Ring Out Finish - 1500 pts (Maybe they burst IDK) Burst Finish - 3000 pts
I never got a Beypointer. When I found out about them they were already super expensive! 😢 They did have an episode showing off the Rip Gauge Launcher. I think in the anime it doubled as a bey pointer. I actually have one of those Rip Gauge Launchers. the sound is so annoying. 😆 But I really only us it for L spin. for some reason mine works better on L.
I too think the card one was a lame "upgrade" to the original, even was a kid. I'm from SEA so of course it is TT products that come over to my local stores, which is where i learned about the beypointers back when it was still new.
You can choose win or lose on the beypointer. One button would cycle between win or lose. You’d then hit the other button to “confirm” and you’d connect the beypointers together
I can't believe no one on youtube videos explains how this shit works. I don't mean buttons or connecting them. HOW THIS DEVICE DETERMINE WHETHER YOU WIN OR LOSE THE BATTLE??? DO WE INPUT WIN OR LOSE NUMBERS BY OURSELVES?
It’s pretty self explanatory. You determine if you win or lose, then one beypointer is set to “win” the other is set to “lose.” Connect them together and.. that’s it.

We need these stuffs back in Beyblade X
Nah

Yeah, it seems like they got rid of accessories like these (beypointer, logger etc) because they never really used them in the show. Unfortunate.

Those memories man! This was the single most awesome they released. Too bad they never brought it back.

Classic Bey accessory. Can’t wait to see what they do for Beyblade X!

The idea of the Beypointer is just Amazing!!
I just hope beyblade X will bring, something like that 😁😃
Great Video! Was looking forward to it LOL
Which blade is better for defence/stamina meta?
1. Vanish (from vanish Fafnir)
2. Wind (from Wind Knight)
Had the beypoint card and the original beypointer (though it lost battery), kinda a rare accessory that was very sought after back in the day and its kinda more of a novelty item to flex in a tournament event.
Got a sealed Sonokong beypointer with the pre-hybrid pegasus. Every so often I am tempted to open it, so glad I held onto it all these years though.

I was pissed they didnt localize it

I never forget the Beypointer. Out of all of the beyblade series, Metal Fight was my favorite.
🎶Beyblade Beyblade Let it Rip🎶

I never had that since I bought ldrago.
thanks to this video ima rewatch mfb

Survivor Finish - 500 pts
Ring Out Finish - 1500 pts

I remember the beypointer and I was 4 when I found out about it, and I was born in 2011 so ye I was kind of a big Beyblade fan
I never got a Beypointer. When I found out about them they were already super expensive! 😢

metal fight beyblade is my childhood it was released in Arabic countries in 2013 so i'm not as old as MFB fans i'm 15 but nostalgic nonetheless
I actually like the beypointer more than the Beylogger tbh 😅 (but its just my opinion)
OMG the gold Beypointer is so beautiful 😍 I have the blue and the black versiosn !
Dude I LOVE the Bey Pointer, still wish they kept it around before tossing the whole concept out early on...💔😞
it looks so clean too
These should be in Beyblade X and these things exist in real life
The beypointer is really cool, but what if you win and your opponent refuses to connect their launcher to yours if you win their points?
I hope Beyblade X brings it back
I recently copped a blue one off of ebay for 50 bucks! I am so happy, I wanted this since I was 7. I am now 21 🥺🥺🥺🥺❤❤
I have a point card and the V2 grip
Pov:Ranked Beyblade battles
I live in Asia and these were plentiful in the stores back then, probably my favorite add on to the launcher. The card one was lame tbh.
I too think the card one was a lame "upgrade" to the original, even was a kid. I'm from SEA so of course it is TT products that come over to my local stores, which is where i learned about the beypointers back when it was still new.
It was cool but I never had one. From what I have seen it's not as functional as one would hope. Still a cool idea.
I loved my beypointer 😭😭😭
Can anyone tell me what bey is at 5:10 ?
I think it’s gravity destroyer but with a custom spin track or performance tip
I Reserve the bx01 starter
I miss metal fusion burst is too complicated
How exactly was the Beypointer supposed to know if you won or lost? Is that what the buttons are for?
You can choose win or lose on the beypointer. One button would cycle between win or lose. You’d then hit the other button to “confirm” and you’d connect the beypointers together
@@nuc Ok. Thanks!
I wish it was in beyblade burst
@nuc how does it know if you win or lose
You choose one of the 2 options and then connect. So it relies on you making the right choice between the 2 options.
@@nuc thank you also huge fan
Idk i like it but kinda unnecessary but it's cool tho
🔥🔥🔥

@@nuc So i just wanted to know how it shows true numbers, it turns out it's not possible because users input them..
Stuffs bad grammar 😂😂
