I like how they have like 5 dollar cardboard table, 20 dollar plastic arena, but the commentators feel like 1 million dollar official tournament and the whole crowd is into it!
I remember when I used to play this at school, we flipped the cover of a garbage can as it made the perfect arena, had the right shape, it was big and the sound effects of beybladws banging against metal walls was satisfactory. Good times
I remember building my own beyblades as a kid and having SO much fun. I also remember absolutely shredding another kid’s beyblade (literally broke the top ring) and feeling bad for him and simultaneously proud of my monstrosity
Beyblades are one of the coolest toys that never really took off. I always loved playing with them as a kid but it just never took off. I remember I always used to think about it like how they played between the first and second set, just modifying your Beyblades on the fly to activate different strategies. It all seemed so mechanical and cool to me. And then everyone stopped playing with them after a few months whereas Pokémon and Yugioh never stopped lol
@@888PungyI thought too but after checking online, it's far from being completely random. Yes, there are real skills in this. I too admit it's hard to believe 😂

When they were mid battle he would show them, their eyes would light up followed by begging to see it spin. He shrugs & says he has like 10 more at home, so 1st to get it can keep it. He then pretends to throw it super far away, all the kids sprint in that direction leaving their beyblades mid battle. He collects all their beyblades & runs off. Anytime the kids see him & ask if he seen their toys he shrugs & says he left so another kid probably saw & took them. He asks if any of em got his rare 1 & they say no so he says a random probably saw it & beat ‘em to it. He spammed this strat multiple times btw 🤦🏽♂️
