The walk of shame… Bama is never out of a game. That had to be one of the best games of the season. After almost losing to A&M and Texas, Tennessee finished the drill.
I'm 55 years old. Some of the best memories of my life are from the Bama/Tennessee games when we'd go. I was at the game in Birmingham when Heath Schuler was QB and Bama was trailing. David Palmer, the deuce, ran in a 2 point conversion for Bama and the game ended in a tie. We had more fun that night afterwards at the local Denny's in Birmingham as I've ever had in my life. Everybody was buzzing pretty good and the entire restaurant - Bama fans as well as Tennessee fans - were literally singing old sitcom theme songs and just having the time of our lives. People were even up on the tables singing. That Dennys was rockin. Nothing like the Bama/UT rivalry and it's unfortunate that a lot of young people don't realize just how magical it was when both teams were great. It's really fun seeing this rivalry mean something again. Go Vols and mad respect for Bama. Nothing like the SEC baby.
I had no rooting interest in this game!!! As a fan of college football that was one hell of a game!!! But that Tennessee receiver with 5 TDS damn what a fucking stud!!!
As an alum of UT, I remember when this rivalry was at its best. When two heavy weights went head to head. That happened last night! One of the best college games I’ve seen. The only sad part for me was seeing my To’O To’O in Crimson and playing his final game in Neyland Stadium as a visitor. 😢Vol Nation still mourns that loss! He’s still my fave!!

I've been critical of To'o To'o for a few games now. But When he walked out and embraced his parents, I felt terrible for my criticism. He's their child and they are so proud of him. I heard his dad say "hold your head up". What a lesson we can learn from watching these kids work so hard and lay it all on the line. For the Bama nation, he's our linebacker and we, namely I, should be proud of him too. I'm sorry Henry. I don't feel bad for him at all. Henry and other blue chip players like Eric Gray were paid under the table by Pruitt and staff, and they deserted Tennessee when Pruitt was fired/cleaned house. Henry went to our arch rival.. he could've gone to any other school in the FBS.. but he chose bama. That wasn't his best game. You could tell he was frustrated when he tried to kick Hooker when he was down after a play, classy move. Big Jerome Carvin gave him an earful after the successful 2 point conversion.

Before this game was played Alabama was #6 for total defense and Georgia was ranked #8, and your offense is nowhere near the top in the country. Georgia plays that sloppy against TN, they're gonna get boat raced my guy. Yea I know anything can happen on any given Saturday and yes this is the SEC but on paper and statistically TN and Georgia are fairly even. You can say what you want but numbers do not lie. TN has shown what they can against a top 10 defense but Georgia hasn't shown what they can do against a good offense. All the offenses you've played this year have been mediocre and TNs is not...
