While not the most visually pleasing by any means In person while using the system due to the enormous screen it’s actually quite nice to use. Just wish there was a full width mode… 🤬. Thank you for watching.
Me over here laughing that the 2024 F150 will have the digital gauge cost and the 12 inch display as standard starting in 2024. I know the old models didn’t allow that.
I found this video because I was trying to figure out how to get rid of that right side nonsense, so I could just have a full screen nav… I wish they would let people customize their own view. Every time I get in the truck, SOMETHING is slightly different.
If you have wireless CarPlay enabled and click the voice command button on the steering wheel without CarPlay pulled up on the screen, will it still function as a Siri button?
In a VAG car or any other with Carplay and Apple Maps navigation turn directions on the instrument cluster have you experienced this bug or can you tell me if it works for you. Start navigation in Apple maps. You will get a navigation arrow on the driver display that works fine until ..... you make a wrong turn. It then says recalculating. Once is has finished the main display updates ok but the driver display is stuck on recalculating. The only way to fix it is to cancel the navigation and start it again and then it recovers. Not sure if it is an iOS or car issue. Thanks
Solid video sir, very in depth. I agree with your critiques, I think the carplay should have a full screen option as well.
That's the worst carplay integration I've ever seen... they didn't even bother setting the alpha channel around the edges to 0

Bedford hills? That’s too funny. I get my Raptor serviced at what’s now colonial ford in Bedford hills.

Is there a way to use WIRED CarPlay?
Yes
exactly what I was looking for! I hate it though... thanks!
Thank you for watching! Sorry that you don’t like the ford carplay !!
What is up with the camera and auto park buttons 😭😭😭

Recently, Ford pushed an update. It changed the way the main cluster looked, while using CarPlay navigation. Might fix your issue.
This was extremely helpful 🤘🏻
Ford's UI looks so dated.
Pretty sure the width is a limitation of carplay
The new tundra has full screen carplay among other vehicles.
@@CarTechConnect but is it wider? (is it more than 4 app icons wide?)
@@MuffinMan0521it’s 5 icons wide instead of 4. Similar for the GMC Yukon and others wide large screens like what Ford has in the new F150’s.
