its werry good buildt, the tracks are in front of the machine so it will climbe good in the forest....but i dont understand why you dont put the driwe weels in front of the track .....
That is homemade, for sure. If you find something similar from videos, especially from finland, that dont mean nothing. Many people in here makes these, with no plans. Because these tracks are cheap in here, you can buy these from everywhere here, old army stuff, they are almost always from bandwagen. You cant buy one ready. Similarity comes because the tracks are always same lenght.
Sami Latvakrekola You can find one by typing in merksu100 in the search bar of youtube and looking through his videos. Not even similar language or spelling of words. But it sure is an interesting little vehicle. They should market them.
Now THATS a money maker for areas that get heavy snow. You should try to figure out how to get them made - if it's marketed right, the design is cool, etc., trust me - those things will sell like crazy - if for the shear fun of driving it alone. It's quick, and functional. It works!
I don't know what this guy used but I have seen other peoples creations where they used strips of conveyor belt with angle iron bolted to it. I have been thinking of making a smaller version of this using a old lawn tractor. For steering i will just set up independant braking systems for each side of the transaxle.
You said it. Hundreds of simillar machines. As my first reply mentioned. Look for a video made by merksu100. That video is titled tracked vehicle. The hoods are different. So. It may be a kit but it certainly isn't hand made by himself. Not when a completely different person has one very similar.
It's been four years now. Something like this could have been worth millions on the market. Not even one word back from him on any postings asking if he will sell plans for or make one for them and they will pay. He didn't build it. Assembled pieces maybe, but he didn't build it.
haha.. I think that the can make whatever they want to do. There skills seems to be endless! So, i don´t think there is anything they can´t make.. :) I saw now that my comment might be missunderstood. My bad! Have a nice christmas!!
Love to have it. Did you make this yourself? Me, I'd put a steering wheel on it so I would have more control, a powerful motor, it would be either electric or run off of water (steam), gear box, blade contol and it would have the attachment of a loader arm and bucket. But it would have other attachments and other optional things. But thats me.
How he could not have done it by him self? Please explain? Or are the hundreds of similar machines all made in factory? In scandinavia you can buy tracks from shops.
SolarSavage I'm betting it isn't. Look for another video poster by the name of merksu100. He has one extremely similar. Not identical but very VERY similar. One would almost think it was a kit you can buy and put together. By that definition, it might be considered home built. But definitely not homemade. I sure wish I had one. I've watched every video from both of these two on these machines. The exhaust is different, the hood is slightly different and the back of it is different. But extremely close in resemblance.
I call bullshit. You didn't make that. The plow in front maybe but not the vehicle. I just found another video of a different person driving a very, as in extremely similar vehicle with a different hood and exhaust. It was uploaded by merksu100. Title of that video is tracked vehicle. There is no claim to it being homemade. It does suggest it's European from the people speaking.
Awesome machine, its fast, powerful, manuverable, and efficient.
I love when it drifts!!!
The drifting in the beginning was badass AF.
A masterpiece! Is there anything that you finnish guys can't do?!
its werry good buildt, the tracks are in front of the machine so it will climbe good in the forest....but i dont understand why you dont put the driwe weels in front of the track .....

great video. traffic sure flies by and you're in and out of it so fast. How do you avoid a collision?
i wouldn't wanna pay this guy by the hour
@miksirikoitsen Yep, I noticed that, when I was there.
Hallo. Haben Sie den Trecker selbst gebaut oder gibt's das?
In welchem Land leben Sie? FINNLAND?
What was used to make the tracks? Over-the-tire stuff for skid steers or more like the ones for a snowcat?
If the blade angled it would be perfect.
I think you misunderstood me! What do you not think?
Can you tell me the name of this machine? I'm italian and i've never seen one before! Best reguards
Its some home made vehikcle
kyllä käy auraaminen näppärästi!
