- It’s a desire that lives in all of us. That urge to explore. To take a map, pick two points, draw a line between them, and go.
The space between those points is what we call the Divide. It might meander through a valley, run along the edge of a lake or the shore of an ocean. It could climb mountain passes or bridge rivers.
Every journey changes you. You never come back the same. The Divide is about the joy we take from that change, the delight of exploration, the unique emotions and enlightenment that only a great bike trip can provide. It's about savouring every kilometre, celebrating every climb conquered, relishing every bumpy, twisting back road. The Divide is about making memories, and rediscovering what we thought we’d forgotten.
The Route: 'The Badger Divide' spans almost 340 km across the Scottish Highlands, linking the cities of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands to Glasgow in the south.

Very inspiring film! It can’t have been easy to shoot either: keeping lenses and drones dry in that typically Scottish weather
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC RIDE ....TRULY INSPIRING .....THANKS FOR SUCH AWSOME CONTENT
What a beautifully shot film! I raced the Badger for ScotDURO last year and I would love to ride the route again without that time pressure so I can truly enjoy every pedal stroke and changing view
Breathtaking! Wow...thanks for the ride@
Welcome to our playground
Excellent wee film.
Excellent filming
Awe-inspiring stuff. A must-do route for me next year, but I'm not sure my video of the trip will be as polished as this!

Fantastic wild placeeesssss and video!!! is it possible to find the gps track somewhere? thanksss
Great video!
However, I don't think it's really representative of The Badger Divide. I don't know if it's the edit or they just had once in a lifetime luck, but you're going to get wet when you get there, period!
Rain from all angles, up, down, sideways...
We had a bit of weather for sure, but overall, we were lucky. It rained each day - off and on and off and on, but it was manageable and never too overwhelming. It's also kind of hard to capture bad weather while riding your bike and trying not to destroy your equipment...so for most of the bad stuff, the cameras were tucked away. :-)
