I thank the Russians, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Baltic, and Kazakh people for their success in defeating the Nazis. I hope these people will put aside their anger towards each other for this day.

if i remember correctly didn't the baltic people mostly collaborate with the nazis? they saw it as liberation from the Soviets.
@@BeniTheTesseract Like many people in Eastern Europe, it was a mixed reaction. The Soviets had just forcefully annex the Baltic states, so initially the Nazis were seen as liberators. It soon became apparent that the Nazis were not liberators, rather even worse oppressors. Thousands of Baltic peoples fought against Nazi Germany in the red army, as partisans of all ideologies and even as exiled forces fighting with the western allies.
@@BeniTheTesseract Russians shouldn’t have committed a genocide on them before Germany could. Also Lithuania is one of the 3 countries that didn’t have an SS division even after Stalingrad.

My eyes fill with tears as the song plays remembering the heroes who died fighting the Nazis. The Soviet Union, for all of its flaws shared a brotherhood in nations that no other society has reached on this Earth. The heroes of the Red Army, the Partisans, and all fighters in the war against fascism should be remembered eternally with glory.
Anyone who claims the mantle of the Soviet Union should call for peace, unity, antifascism, and brotherhood.
That is what Victory Day is about, at least to me.
If not Lend Lease, Soviet victory would not be possible.

Но к сожалению , люди ничему не учатся , сегодня мужик с Украины решил почтить мертвых солдат в битве за Варшаву, но какие-то не хорошие люди облили его краской и сказал. что-то по-типу ,,возвращайся обратно,, .
К сожалению, хорошее затмневается, а только плохое и не факт правдивое, остаётся.
