Music and real entertainment are not forbidden If you want what suits your sexual instincts from semi-nude beaches to ((night life??)) nightclubs, pubs etc these things do not exist and the Saudis do not want them. There are ( tens of millions ) of Muslims who visit Saudi Arabia annually and they need and deserve (respectable) entertainment places for their families .
All gulf countries are trying to replicate the UAE economic model because they know demand on oil will decrease in the next decade, this will put some serious competition for UAE since every neighboring country will offer what Dubai offers, are they going to succeed tho? The US government spends about 3000 billion dollars a year .. 800 billions a year on the U.S military So the U.S military spends a 1000 billion every 15 months or so ... While Saudi Arabia plans to spend 1000 billion dollars over 10 years on these mega projects .. So it's not as crazy as it seems .
