My favorite track always has and always will be Maple Treeway but damn this game has so much tracks in contention for my favorite ever such as Mushroom Gorge, Toad’s Factory, Coconut Mall, DK Summit, Koopa Cape, Bowser’s Castle, and Rainbow Road HM’s to Wario’s Goldmine, Grumble Volcano, and Dry Dry Ruins. These are some of my favorites as well but I think they are just short from being at the tier of the others
It’s definitely not an uncommon opinion but Koopa Cape has got to be my personal favourite track, both in this game and maybe the entire series. I love the general layout of the track as well as the theming, and of course the pipe section always felt mesmerising to drive through as I passed by the marine life! Come to think of it though, the star cup in general is pretty goated, I love the colours of daisys circuit, koopa cape obviously, maple treeway is beautiful and I love autumn themes, and grumble volcano feels like an intense way to round off the cup. Happy to see a new upload!:)
There was another short cut in Mushroom Gorge with mushrooms right after the starting line that makes you make a course for the bridge. Idk how much it cuts off time, and it’s ONLY in the Wii version and not the Mario Kart 8 DLC, but it was always fun to pull off when I was a kid

My top three are Maple Treeway, Koopa Cape, and Coconut Mall. Maple Treeway is entirely because of the scenary, Koopa Cape is my favorite actual track to race, and Coconut Mall is a combination of cool setting and fun to race.

The theming and music are on *point* on the track, the only section I felt wasn't as good as the others was the tractor section at the end, honestly. Just always felt a little out of place despite it logically making sense. There's technically a small corner-cut you can do right at the end before the tractor section, but aside from that at least one more shortcut would have been nice, yeah.
There like ten possible "best" tracks in this game. I would put mushroom gorge, toads factory, tracks 2-4 of flower cup, tracks 2-4 of star cup, all of special cup. If we want to include retros you could also put in delphino square, waluigi stadium and DK mountain

I also love all of the gimmicks on the track like the wigglers and the leaf piles that you can drive theough to get hit by a banana or get a boost with a mushroom. I think that the Rainbow Road from Wii was definitely one of the better ones, but I definitely don't think it's the best one in the series. My pick for best rainbow road is tied between GCN and 3DS
My top 3 growing up were coconut mall, koopa cape, and toad's factory. Nowadays I would definitely put rainbow road up there but I absolutely despised it when I was younger cause I was shit at the game lol
For me its gotta be Rainbow road first, DK summit second, and Cocunut mall third. The theming, track design, and nastalgia is too high for them not to be in the order. The ultimate bueaty and music of rainbow road, the exitement and wonder of DK summit, and the tropical unique track of cocunut mall.
Maple Treeway and Koopa Cape are probably my Top 2 in this game. Least favorite, as controversial as it might be, probably goes to Toad's Factory, though a lot of it just because I can't stand Toad for some reason.
I actually think Moo Moo Meadows is a pretty great track. It serves as an evolution of Luigi Circuit, introducing jumps and hazards to the player in a great way.
7:18 coconut mall isn’t that interesting to me here’s my reasons: • The other paths are almost never useful to me • The music as nice as it sounds doesn’t really stick in my head anymore •The escalators unfairly punish the player along with the cars. •The overall visuals are quite washed out.🤔
That’s one of my favorite tracks in this game for sure, but in terms of retro tracks, Delfino Square, Waluigi Stadium, and DK Mountain are also contenders for the best retro track, with DK Mountain being my personal favorite retro track in this game

Though one track that it seems EVERYONE on both sides agrees is an absolute blast is Koopa Cape, whether you're brand new to MKW or a seasoned veteran it strikes the perfect balance between pure fun and amazing skill expression. Objectively there probably isn't a better choice you could have made. Great video.

Bruh Toad's Factory has the lake cut (plus box clip but its extremely difficult)
