Most people still think Ratan Tata is running Tata group but he retired almost 5-6 years back, it's this guy Natarajan Chandrasekaran who is overseeing all the work done by tata group.
Everyone knows he is not running Tata. It's just in your head or maybe you got to know recently. Tata Motors or any other Tata group company is owned and run by Tata Sons which has Chandrasekaran as Chairman. Tata sons is a trust and has a board of directors and shareholders who appoint the Chairman. Tata Group has hundreds of companies and all are doing excellent work in their respective industries.

This is not rare, already a number of people complained about Electronic issues and nggles in their new Harriers and Safaris on Rushlane, Team BHP groups.
Pared with the Inexpenrienced Dealers, some Tata owners have seen true hell on earth. Never trust them and do proper PDI while buying their vehicles. Tata should really do something about their Dealers.
Customers have started taking safety as a top priority while buying vehicles for their families. Unfortunately, some customers are punished for prioritising their safety by buying these vehicles, spending their life in service centres.
Have always been saying this, if you wanna join the R&D team of Tata and Mahindra, buy a first batch model of their new products.
Electronical failures, rusting, breakdowns, clutch engine gearbox issues etc etc-
If you really want safety, get an Elevate, Verna, Grand Vitara or any toyota.
You should not but Tata cars above of 12 lakh period!

The Quality Control of Tata Motors is still the worst. 100% of the problems are mainly due to manufacturing defect. When the problem is due to a manufacturing defect , even mechanics in the dealerships are unable to fix it .The only solution to these major problems are replacement of vehicle instead of repairs. Then the company must take the defective cars to their plant ,study them and make improvements to the newer models. This is the only solution in the long run.

The last scenario also happened with us back in 2011 when my father bought an Indigo GLS. While we thought that we had bought a brand new car, Tata Motor Dealership sold us a used car. We found out later during our first service. It is horrible to know that such things are still happening.
People must understand about reliability and trust.
Don't just get blind in the name of build quality
Tata motors should also be blamed, as they are building faulty cars from factory. Seems post Ratan Tataji's retirement, the current management is least bother in addressing the issue. Seems hiring untrained staffs.

I am using my Ford Fiesta for last 15 years without any issue. Its indeed a vfm car and I love my car. Not too many features so no issues like we are getting in latest generation cars 😂😂 complete peace of mind 😊

Not all service centers are doing this. Speaking about my car, a Tigao service center employee brought the car from another showroom, almost 100 km away. When I took delivery at the showroom, the employee clearly told me, 'Sir, the car came from 100 km away. Please check everything, especially engine-related issues. If you encounter any minor issues, I will replace it with a new one.

First day - diesal delivery lete waqt khtm ho gya ...... Vo toh showroom ka GM humko janta tha isiliye usne pehele hi acknowledge karke free diesal dediya full tank
Day 2 pe software update karne bheja gadi ko . No issues till today
10 k + running completed
Haa service centre hai toh ek problem Tata ke but agar staff janta hai aapko tab koi issue nhi hai
Sirf 1 baar software ke liye Gaye thi gadi aur vo 3 hr mein Ghar par chodh ke gaye
Baki regular service ke liye jaati hai
Hopefully baki logon ki problem solve ho jaye
Conclusion: "Buy Tata only if you know the GM or have any higher approach"
Because if you are a common seedha saada aadmi then they won't listen to you

I experienced the same problem with my Nexon facelift a few weeks after I took delivery. Tata service centre Shillong promised to pick the car from my work place for servicing the next day. When I started the car the next morning it was working perfectly. I never experienced the problem since then. I am perfectly happy with the car and Tata service.
tata really needs to check these showrooms and hold them responsible for all these.. otherwise the company's image will dip faster than it took to climb

In the recent years, Tata has been exposed multiple times for doing Paid reviews with Motoroctane, Motorbeam and other youtubers.
Unlike Tata, there arw actually Hyundai vehicles like Vernas, I20/i10s, Santros, Elantras and Cretas, all recent models that have hit more than 3 lakh kms. There are cases of Vernas that have even hit 6-9 lakh KMs without any major issues. Something that modern Tatas can never achieve as they fall apart after 2 lakh kms or are scrapped by owners, tired of hearing rattling and eating rust😆😆😆

There are definitely software issues in the new facelift models. I have recently purchased Nexon Facelift and there many small but irritating issues in software, and one of them is the steering control buttons stop working for sometime. In this case you need to shutdown car completely. Then unlock and get in the car, and then from settings force restart the system software, just like we do in a PC. Today I faced one new issue where on a traffic signal I was supposed to take right and the indicator was on and the Info screen was showing the rear cam view, since there was a lot of traffic I was stuck at the signal for around 5 mins, after taking the turn the rear cam should stop and revert to the entertainment screen view, but it went completely black and no on screen buttons were visible. So yeah in all there are some really bad quality control issues in software. Since these new cars are driven by software it should be considered extremely critical and should have almost bugs.

My cousin bought XUV700, he is happy, only issue is mileage but since he earns good so he need not worry. I prefer either Mahindra or VW, no other brand. I have driven Mahindra and their service is also not issue in Delhi and if you come on weekdays then your experience will be even better.

The Internet Fanboys are really like this and its embarrassing. You cant even speak up for a Tata owner who is facing problems with his vehicle without being labeled as a Suzuki/Tin ka dabba/Pakistani person, when in reality, Suzuki or any tin can owner is mostly living happily and going on their daily business unlike a number of Tata owners spending their time on service centres. The same people in real life can't even afford a 2nd hand Nano.
Yeh safari ke speedometer aur jo MID button kaam na karne ka issue mere saath bhi ho chuka hai 2 months mein atleast 3 times. The main problem here is software. As per tata abhi tak koyi new update nahi aaya hai, but donot worry.
Harmon ki jo infotainment screen hai uspe settings mein jaao and then go to system. When system screen option aayega, usmein force restart ka option hoga. Uspe click karo. Aapki infotainment screen aur MID restart ho jaayegi and it will be working again aur MID button ya koyi bhi software related problem theek ho jaayegi. Ek aur baat please car rok kar yeh sab karna 😂

Once our Nexon met with an accident, it was a medium accident where the right fender & the bumper was totally broken, the funny or sad thing is that tata service centre took 3 months to repair that(it was insured so we didn't have to pay anything,)

I bought nexon creative DCT in January. Ran 1200 km .in February 2024 only issuses came in DCT gearbox. The electronic parking mode was not disengaging at all .car took 30 to 40 minutes to start.this happend two times when i was out of my city.some how i reached my town and took my car to showroom.at the tata showroom the technician and mechanic were our family friends only so they gave priority to my car.still it took 2 days to solve the issue.
For middle class it is very painful to handle issues with in one year of car delivery.
Summary:-New generation car are not car anymore,they have become electronic gadgets with lot of complexity.
All new products will have some initial niggles. 2nd ya 3rd batch tak ye problems usually sort out ho jaate hai.
Main kahin suna tha ki Tata ko mehangi car banana nai aata. Jo ekdum sach hai. Galti puri Tata ki hai jo plant mein apni car ka acche se QC nai karte, isiliye inki car mein breakdowns hote hain.
Main kismat wala hun ki 5 din pehle hi maine apni Nexon cancel ki. Mujhe life long tension nai leni itni ghatiya car and service ke saath.
Maine directly Skoda book karli. Dealership bohat acche se deal kie, pura time dia PDI ka.

That's why my uncle said when I was young never buy a car from Tata. Our family was confused between Tata and Mauti Suzuki and we wanted to go with Tata because of the features and safety but because of the poor after sale service and support we just went with Maruti instead and we are quite happy with the decision.
