when owners buy their own equipment we tin to follow the recommendations (break in period) rather than ignore. it’s a different frame of mind when replacing something that most people don’t notice. it exciting to most for a new spoiler or wheels, because so many people don’t have the discipline to care for their car long term.
Nice Mr Red5oh! I have the same rotor and pad kit! I have 23 ,000 miles on pads and rotors 94,000 on the car! I have an ESS G3 Supercharger and these brakes are Well Well worth the money. I will say this it takes 500-1000 miles to really see the full potential of these brakes! They feel good after the bedding right away but take a few more miles to truly break in! I just ordered the matching rear rotor-pad kit!
That’s awesome! Glad to hear these hold up fine even on a supercharged car. How’s the car held up with 94k miles and boost? How many miles on ESS? I want to get ESS in the future too but my car is starting to climb up in miles
@ the car has been amazing! I put the ESS on at 80,000 miles and now has 94,000 I’ve owned the car since it had 6,000 miles! I’ve over changed the oil and I’m very careful with everything has to be at operating temperature before I get on the car at all! I have no worries that it will hold up for many more miles! I highly recommend the ESS!
@@stevensink5544 that’s awesome and gives me comfort owning the mustang for a long term! Do you feel ESS gives noticeable power over stock in lower rpm? I know mostly it comes out alive in higher range but curious what your experience has been
@ it’s adds power everywhere in the RPM range! I also feel that it’s easier on the 10 speed and traction on the street! I’ve gone 6.32 60-130 with the biggest pulley 125 mm (lowest boost) and no other mods! It’s the only mod the car has! Absolutely love it! My son has the exact same car and ESS and he loves it as well! So if you are thinking about it I would do it!
@ you don’t have LTH? I have heard about a cats going bad. I would like to keep stock headers as well due to mods. What tires are you running to be able to pull that kind of 60-130? It’s pretty impressive. I’ve been on the fence and because it’s my daily I am second guessing it
I was in the same boat and almost pulled the trigger on z23 as people mentioned z26 can be noisy which I didn’t want. Luckily these z26 are good and I don’t experience any noice on them
Can you post the link for the brakes on your page please I want to get the same ones to😂
I just added the link in the description!

Yup I heard mixed things about squeaking so wanted to make sure I followed the break in procedure properly
Good job doing your research and getting what works for you
Thank you! These brakes are well worth the money they may not hold up on track but daily driven and doing spirited drives they are good

I found the Z26 to be noisy, so I put the Z23's on my Mach 1 and loved them. Waiting for the new Z23's to be released for the Darkhorse.
