For a Mayback, the vehicle should've been stretched. It looks too regular sized to be an ultra-expensive cruiser.

It’s only the interior and outside features that are beautiful.
Granted the EQS SUV already has one of the longest wheelbase in any SUV that isn't based off a truck. It is bit of a hallmark of BEV designs to house the big battery pack underneath.
@@Trades46 I get that, but still, a Maybach needs presence. It's really an issue with SUVs in general, even the RRs, Lambos, they don't look 'special' enough. Whereas in sedan form, they can look imposing.

At 1min 33sec you say it has 700nm of torque. The 580 version has 858nm / the 500 has 828. This one does not have 700 but 950nm. I think you have used the non metric number > "700 lb-ft"

The blinking lights are coming from the driver assistance system to tell if you are paying attention. You can’t see the lights normally, but a camera can pick it up. The blinking itself is caused by the camera and sensors being in different frame rates.

Please tell me that you can switch that blinking red light on the central screen off. It would drive me nuts!
You can't see it blinking, thats common thing that happens when filming leds, they look like blinking on video but are solids when looked at.
@@tapio83Actually, you do not see them at all with your eyes. Those are the sensors that detect you nodding off. They work very well and are completely invisible to the naked eye.
Just last week end I was driving back from a day of skiing with my EQS AMG and anytime I nodded off a bit due to fatigue, I was awakened by a repetitive beeping sound. Very effective.
The EQS line is something else. Truly worth every penny, and quite a show stopper anywhere you go.
Mercedes is leagues above other auto makers when it comes to interior design. No one can match the sheer amount of detailed interior design. From neon lights to smooth surfaces blending perfectly with overall futuristic aesthetic. Just pure art.
Well done Mercedes somehow every time you outdid yourself.

Undoubtably beautiful inside but if I had to see one on the streets, I would have thought the owner customised it himself to make it look like a Maybach 😬
I dont think the exterior is in line with the Maybach DNA, feels too round, too basic, like your average modern electric car, when it should work well with a two-tone paint job and be sleek and elegant. Honestly i’d love just a fully electric S class maybach with this dashboard, or one similar to it.

How does the noise cancelling work when there are sirens sounding that are not in view yet, or honking, will it notify you?
As an EQS driver I can confirm that I didn't notice police sirens behind me until they were 1cm behind me pushing me to the other lane. 🤠 (perhaps I should check my mirror more often)

I really don't like the plain front grill. Mercedes should still build it with some depth, even if it isn't necessary. They even tried to approach by gluing aluminium parts to it.
They should get rid of the concept of grill entirely and do something original with the front of the car
If Mercedes were smart they would replace gloss plastic in their cars with glass. You can scratch piano gloss black plastic just by breathing on it
