I’m sorry, but I’m just not impressed at all. Mercedes is old. Sure the quality is hi, but all they have done is rehash old technology with a digital display. I don’t see any creativity at all here. I bought a Tesla MYP after owning 2 high end Mercedes and 2 high end BMW’s. I am really not an SUV person but the way Tesla has reimagined the automobile is second to none. Everyone else is playing catch-up. The software, performance, convenience, and efficiency of the Tesla are at the top of the market. Luxury is just an instrument for people who need public validation to establish self worth. I am sure many Mercedes and BMW owners hate to see me coming because their car can’t move like a Tesla does (with authority). I am willing to bet this Mercedes as big as it is doesn’t have a frunk. Also range does not matter anymore with Tesla due to their charging network. Big batteries take a long time to charge and cost more money to charge so it’s not a benefit. I rather own the plaid model X over this vehicle any day. Crazy who the model X plaid an SUV can outrun a Lamborghini Huracan in the quarter mile. I don’t think Mercedes has achieved that yet with an EV.

I was not expecting that it would be presented this year!
I really like what Mercedes is doing with their EQ line of electric vehicles. It’s impressive that they are combining low drag coefficient exterior design with the classically elegant Mercedes design language. The interior is absolutely groundbreaking from both a technological and design standpoint, as it is incredibly beautiful and seemingly very intuitive, with the way they were able to combine three touch screen displays behind a single glass panel on the dash to display all necessary information without it seeming cluttered or overwhelming but, rather having invite the user to touch and interact with the displays as everything is where one would expect it to be, all while remaining pleasing to the eye. This is accomplished utilizing things like the air vents, and the absolutely exquisite modern design of the steering wheel, with the wooden trim adding a degree of warmth and familiarity and all of it accented with color led ambient lighting that extends throughout the entirety of the cabin, that together gives the interior of the vehicle a certain quality that invokes a calming and serene atmosphere that pairs perfectly with the silent running electric drive. An interior cabin that one can assume is well insulated sonically (possibly both passively with sound deadening material and actively with Active noise canceling technology) giving the driver a uniquely relaxing environment, regardless of the driving conditions the car is faced with. The Cherry on top being the wonderful three pronged star accented throughout both the interior trim and on the front fascia of the “grille” giving it more character than a simple flat Façade would have.

The car I have been waiting for.
Yes its a car. It used to be SUVs were truck based vehicles that didn't have to adhere to the same safety regulations as cars. These new so-called SUVs are no less than just tall cars in every way. Easier to get into/out of, roomy and versatile. Finally I think this is one car that can take on Tesla if it's reliability turns out to be okay.

Too many electronics and sensors. Unreliable and will become completely outdated in a few years when software updates stop coming.

@@danielmiller9012 It is simple science. The lifespan of electrolytic capacitors is very brief. They are found in all car electronics and are most often subject to failures - early, random or wear-out failures. If you are an electrical engineer, you would know that they need to be replaced every 5-7 years for optimal performance. You seem to like your cars with tons of screens, lights, and toys. Just make sure you lease, not buy, because the repair bill will be pretty expensive a few years from now.

With Audi, MB and BMW ramping up their EV lines it's going to be interesting to see how well Tesla holds up.
Their build quality is no where near the other manufacturers.
Neither is their customer service. Tesla's customer service is trash.
This is kind of ugly compared to the BMW iX plus MB are pretty unreliable.

Very beautiful and amazingly great. The interior is very bright and light. I can't take my kids in and leave them eat their favorite McDonald's fries and burgers lol. They'll mess up the beautiful bright colors inside.

It’s nice actually compared to the Eqs that were all recalled. But wonder/ hope if they have all worked out as far as function, performance and reliability because quality is what will make this sell consistently over time to its competitors
@OJD PUBLISHING exactly what I’ve read and saw updates on. Maybe they will get it right overtime as they are getting into electrical vehicles. Those angels models are ❤️, but to spend so much to have to deal w the these issues and potential costs if not acknowledged as recalls
24 vehicles of all shipped to us so far with that ground fault. That sounds like they caught it quick and remediated the situation.

Mercedes needs to stop messing around and get a damn electric SUV, ANY electric SUV, to market in the US. They're losing customers because of the massive delay, including me. Switching from a 2021 GLB 35 AMG to a 2022 Audi e-tron Chronos next week. I wanted to wait for the EQC but I can't wait anymore
Leased a brand new 2020 amg gtc roadster 2/2021. On the drive home got first error message and noticed busted subwoofer. After that engine lights. Then engine lights again. Then 4 (!!!) simultaneous error messages. Multiple knocking sounds. Overall, $189k car has been in the shop with 10 different issues for about 70 days. Customer service from MBUSA is truly disgusting. Ignoring multiple calls and messages and multiple emails. Asked them multiple times to take car back and they refused. Have to go thru lemon process to get rid off this piece of junk. Never offered apology or any sort of mediation for the experience. How in the world they are allowed to sell products they cannot support is beyond me.
I have owned a dozen Mercedes Benz cars over a period of 3 decades and I have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed at the EQ line of cars. It used to be that owning a Mercedes Benz with an S designation would be something unique, something special! These designs are so plain. The EQS sedan looks like a 120k+ Passat and the EQS SUV a 100k+ Honda SUV. I think it’s time to bid farewell to the brand and move to something more stylish that’s worth the money.
It’s a “Utility” vehicle! If you’re not showing the cargo capacity i.e. the utility part of the vehicle, then what the are we doing here?! I get so sick and tired of UA-camrs showing the dashboard 50 millions times, but never showing the cargo area of an SUV. What’s the purpose of an SUV if you’re not transporting lots of things and/or passengers?!

Model S and X combined in Q1 this year made about 14 000 units. E tron (excluded Q4 E tron) alone delivered 10 000 units. Taycan 9000 units considering both Audi and Porsche were more affected by the global crisis than Tesla. Even both Mercedes and BMW had over 20 000 units in Q1.

en çok kapı kolları güzel olmuş ama kışın donup sıkışmaması gerekir. birde direksiyonu diğer amg tipi bence daha hoş bu tipi beğenmedim. en önemlisi ise ortada koca şaft tüneli olmaması iyi olmuş birde havalandırmalar türbin şeklinde güzel olmuş ama jantlarda bu tip olsa daha iyi olurdu bence.
