- The pattern for this boomerang shawl works up fast and is easy to do. I literally did this in one afternoon, and I know you can too! I used the Red Heart Yarns Super Saver Stripes in the color Flamenco Stripe. I used almost two skeins.

Thank you so much. I just started this morning. I didn't want to put it down but I have other stuff to do. I'm going to try it with one skein and see how it wears. Then I'm going to make some more for gifts! I am making it in the Fruity Stripes and I love it so far! Winter came early this year so I'm sure these gifts will be much needed!

I bet it would be beautiful. I asked Holly what size the yarn was. She uses a worsted weight 4. I have a worsted weight 3 that I would love to use with this pattern.

On the dc before the ch2, the ch 2 doesn’t count
Why do you not count the ch 2 as the first double crochet ? Will it make a difference if I do? Did you do a trim ? I have some premier DK and I have had this pattern in my mind for that yarn !!! I can’t wait to start ( got to finish 2 Afghans first )!! You do such great work ! Love you and your U Tube show !!!!
