I always thought the seasons revolved around diffrent characters, last season was loid i think, and this one focuses more on yor. Or maybe last season was Anya's season idk ill have to re watch it

I always wondered why there was more anya and yor than loid and it being from loid's pov explains it. Also it definitely explains the fantasy lense or perspective throughout the op because yor and anya are both like a magical gift to him.

Yup opening was about the adventures that Anya goes to; Has more focus on the Spy/Assassin stuff.
Ending is about her going home/going to sleep; Has more focus on the "Family" on the title. My favorite bit in the ED is how Yor and Loid are gray, but are then colored when they reach home; Outside they need to "love" each other, or atleast act like it, at home there are no audience but they still act the same.

The yor with a scarf scene reminds me of loid and yor moment when your was singing him a lullaby. That's my second favourite scene in the manga of this ship. It really showed that loid can find his lostself with them.

My husband and I thought the same too ( about the music being better). I don't normally like listening to anime openings just to save time and get to the story but for some reason, it just caught me right when I heard it and we both agreed to just listen to the music for this season from now on.

Imo, the first op was like an introduction of how extreme and mystery this family is. And the second one just shows some sweet stuff from this chaotic family to us. That's great, I love this anime.

The first opening is Anya's POV. The second opening is Loid's POV. If the anime ever gets a second season (which I'm certain it will), the third opening might be Yor's POV.

I like that Loid and Yor has very little to no sexual tension, that's a very welcome change of pace from other anime. They are a good team, they respect and care about eachother, and they don't need to be in love for that
But I wouldn't mind a LITTLE sexual tension eventually 😏

I watch the opening and kept thinking Yor looks extremely elegant, sexy, but also motherly, and calming to look at, it's like how a husband would look at his wife.. this is so good, I agree I also like the S2 opening and ending one of the ones I couldn't skip.♥️

That actually explains a lot about the opening. I was wondering why Yor was randomly put in HD mode. Perhaps season three will be Yor's perspective because season one was Anya's perspective on things

After reading vol 10 of the manga, this hits different.
Also, notice that in the ending of the first season, you can clearly see how happy he is when carrying Anya on his back as Yor runs behind him
You can also see how happy he is while dancing with his family. ❤
The first op really shows us Anya's pov... I mean the first half looks like something out of a child's imagination. The bright colors and the simple designs definitely is something a kid would draw and color with. The second half when Loid and Yor are in their work outfits its basically telling us Anya knows what they do. The action, the guns, the karate movements.
I also noticed how their wasn't much bright colors until the picture frame part. It kinda make sense, since although its in Anya's pov, their lives were dark before they found each other. Which also ties in the lyrics "Everyday is boring, yet you're here with me... With that truth it makes my stomach churn" it also gives me Lottie vibes but it has some point with Anya...

They say the first opening was from Anya's Point of View, So it's more Action packed, while The Second was More into the Family
This is so cute, because the first pair of songs (most clear on the ending) are from Anya's PoV, so giving the second pair of songs a Loid's PoV is so cute, I really hope this keeps going with the third being Yor's PoV.

I adored the unique style of the season 1 and catchy music. I’d force my mom to sit through the opening every episode it’s so iconic, but this one definitely gets my heart racing in a different way. This show can do no wrong 😭

The first intro really shows feelings from Anya 's point of view, especially since she knows their secret lives and I love that now we get Loid's point of view and how he sees them.Hopefully they keep this idea and have the third season opening be Yor's point of view.

Yeah, this is probably my favorite opening of the series so far, it really highlights the wholesome family oriented nature of the series.
This sure explains the fantasical magical romantic lense or perspective of the second opening.
At first i didn't really like the new opening but when I watched it over and over i fell in love with it and seeing this video made me love it even more.
