Hmm, knowing he enlisted when underage that means that Loid is younger then you’d think. He could theoretically only be 25, although my guess is that he’s the same age as Yor.
My guess is he's 28, assuming he was 16 when he joined the army, getting promoted only because he survived, and then injured and after that being recruited. He's been a spy for 10 years, assuming he was 17 or 18 when he joined WISE, that would put him at 28.

They're just destined to be family lol
The part that was so impactful was when the author did not show any images when little XXX (aka Loid) found his mother's corpse. He just showed the screams that XXX made during his discovery. The other impactful moment was when his recruiter asked him why he wanted to become a spy. XXX watches a small group of kids smiling and playing and he basically answers "no reason".
That Arch was sooo good and brutal. It made feel terrible how he felt guilt about taking his fathers money before he died. This arch and Handlers speech are brilliant and made me keep reading the manga.
Anya has nothing to fear. Loyd would never abandon her, and neither would Yor ❤

you can easily say loid is dead and all thats left is twilight, after losing that much. dude plays the part of a functioning human, but the amount of stress hes under daily kinda proves hes not anymore

Now he has something to lose
Ok, there is a little bit more to this.
First, during the first bombard, Loid lost his father, and basically a relatively good life(he was about middle class which isn’t bad). But he also thought all his friends died then.
Next he met scruffy while he was a solider, while scruffy escaped from the east, and learn that not all easterner are monsters as they been told.
Lastly, while he was off active duty, he meet his old friend whom he thought died. But they were sent out on a mission, which they never came back from. Loid later learn that mission was basically a suicide mission to buy time for reinforcements. It is then the wise agent came to him and told him “information is power” and invited him. And loid join partly because he never want something happen to his friend happen again, he want to know everything.

Worst Part is Loid's friends we're everything to him when he was a Kid. But he thought they died during strike. But he met them in army again. And they were going on a Mission. They were going to celebrate afterwards but they died.

I love this anime but the only thing I absolutely despise about it is they switched it over to sub which most animes do that after they get going and build an audience so I find an anime that I love and then I can’t even watch it anymore

I'd love to share the Gospel

Jesus laid dead for 3 days and rose up in the 3rd day by the spirit of God proving that the sacrifice was accepted.
If we choose to believe and accept jesus christ as your lord and savior, your sins will be forgiven and you will rejoice in paradise along side him in heaven.
