Lviv looks really beautiful with the old architecture and the trams and walking streets! Towns with car roads and large highways are the worst. But all of Ukraine looks nice. Thank you for the tour of Ukraine.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I ve been to Kiev in 2017 and I can say that what you showed is pretty much the same, despite the posts at maiden square, don’t know if the mall just beneath the square is still running. Hope better days for Ukraine
Nice to see the cathedrals and the space age saucer thing building and the river from that hill in Kyiv again. Seems it was hot in (Antalya,) Turkey and out into central Ukrainia, because it was August! But there was a lot of clouds and floods in central europe, maybe not out there, but it never felt really too cool or warm seems like, when I was there...must have been Sept when I got out, actually forgot all about that shenghen 6month euro visa rule, must have just made it in, out, back in, and out from Munich. But the clouds do look familiar, ha ha. I think it is just all apartments and those type of neighborhoods with subway stops out there other side of river, but not sure. I correctly recognized Lyviv and Kyiv before I was even listening closely, ha!
They didn't require any insurance when I crossed. I just went to the bus station in Chisinau and took one of the local buses there. I think here are multiple buses going to Odesa every hour. It took about 5 hours from Chisinau to Odesa. And from Odesa I took a train to Kyiv, I think it took about 6-7 hours, but not sure anymore :)
You can just google for the ukrainian railway company and check the train rides and the ticket prices there. You can switch the website to an english version. I took the train from Lviv to Kyiv and back a few weeks ago. I was very comfortable. The ride usually takes 6-8 hours. It depends on the kind of the train.
I’ve been a subscriber to you on instagram and now I’ve subscribed to you on UA-cam as well. Great content and I really like your style. Keep up the great work. We were supposed to go to all 3 cities in 2020 but then Covid hit and then the Russians came. Always sad to see pictures of fallen soldiers. This war has to be stopped.
I visited Ukraine during all October 2023 for: 1. Curiosity 2. Three weeks' language tutoring and 3. Spend a little money to support the economy there. Wonderful people, beautiful cities and great traditional food. I will be back there to do some volunteering in 2025. The main part of Odesa was utterly stunning. Highly recommended.
@@maxalbert8903 Not in October 2023, it wasn't for me. I was for the first few days in Lviv, 3 weeks in Kyiv (ony one air raid siren warning sounded, also with a fair bit of evidence of destruction there and in the surrounding towns, particularly towards Belarus) then the last week in Odesa. Just lucky, I suppose. Things seemed to hot up, just after I Ieft.
@@maxalbert8903 I have been to Kyiv and Lviv a month ago. Lviv was very calm and definitly far from dangerous. You could even walk to the polish border within 1-2 days by foot in case everything would fall apart and the orcs would break the ukrainian defense. Kyiv was also very safe but not that calm since there are air raids every night. I stayed in a Hotel that offered beds in the underground parking lot and I always slept there (minus second floor). It is more "uncomfortable" than "unsafe" if do it that way. Right now there are many blackouts of course...
@@Ilyocypris If you mean by "orcs", the Russians, then you have a lot to learn. I am not saying the Russians are holy and that they did not attack Ukraine and killed over 500.000 Ukrainians. All I am saying is that you miss a lot of information.
I was in Ukraine multiple times including right before the trouble started. I got to know the country quite well. Also I know a thing or two about Russia and the history around Ukraine and the whole region, including surrounding countries. My conclusion after my own research is that this whole conflict could have been avoided. This is not Russia fighting Ukraine or vice Versa. This is America using Ukraine as a proxy to destroy Russia. Russia has the right to defend itself. Unfortunately for to do so, it has to invade it's own neighbor. Ukraine used to be part of Russia. Many Russians have family and friends in Ukraine and vice versa. This is a tragedy for both countries. Lately America and the UK do come out admitting that they are the aggressor..... finally. I was claiming that for the longest time. Even my father who died a couple of weeks ago called me NAZI for not directly blaiming Russia for 500.000 Ukrainian families ripped apart. I cried during your video. What I found most striking is while you are in Kiev (9.55), you see a Landrover with a Ukrainian flag and the red and black flag on top. The Bandera flag. Nobody knows the meaning of this flag, nor Bandera. But this is key for understanding the conflict. Thank you so so much for making this video. I thought about going back to Ukraine multiple times during the conflict. But I haven't done this so far. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏
I want to visit Ukraine and Russia. I like both countries. I hear many good things about the people, but terrible things about the governments, but the people will always be the majority. I think we should all know by now who is controlling the war between the two countries. It's the people who we are not allowed to criticize, those who thrive from genocide and war, and have been the root of conflicts since biblical times.
I would have thought most of the city would be in ruin thanks to Russian attacks with rockets, as the news had shown destruction throughout Odesa, Kyiv, Lviv and many others
@@unseen_hues Did you go before or after the war started ,and would you go back to do update on current state of cities, i really feel so sad for the Ukrainians, at the same time i am grateful not to go through such terrors
The war is indeed happening in the east of the country. However, Everybody claims that this is a war. Actually it is not. If it were, then Ukraine, especially Kiyv would already be flattened. Still, when I see these images, it literally brings tears to my eyes.

All built by Poles. Go 20-30 km away from Lviv or Kiev . You won’t say it looks nice for sure
Lviv was built by Poles . Looks like typical Polish city

Hello, do you need travel insurance once you enter Ukraine? Did you take a FlixBus from chisinau to Kyiv? How long was the bus ride to Kyiv and back?

This is indeed a fraternal war and not started by Russia. This is just another example of such a war instigated by the people you talk about.
America go home and take Zelenki together $$$$

you can definitely find some destroyed buildings, if you go looking for them, but when I visited most parts of the cities where not damaged

they are not the main attacked cities and infrastructure.
Then the news must all be fake, or someone is telling bs
Where is the war?
the war is mostly happening far in the east, but Russia does send a few missiles to Odesa and Kyiv as well (and even sometimes Lviv)
