Jake is so tough, he reckons he didn't need stitches. But he wasn't brave enough to be honest with the staff about leaving. He pussied out by saying he was going to the toilet. What a loser. Little Jack puts him to shame, pushing his friend out of the path of the oncoming bike.

As someone who is in a wheelchair 90% of the day, I agree, you do not want to end up with the constant nerve pain, the pressure sores, accessibility issues, loss of independence, cost of mobility aids, and ableism that come with a permanent disability. If there’s even a 1% chance of a spinal cord injury or broken neck/spine, do not take off the collar or move until you’re cleared

My vitals don’t start showing signs of distress until I’m above a 10. My point is, if you’re not accustomed to pain, it hurts more than it would if you live with a constant level of pain everyday

But, he didn't, did he! Then he deliberately decides wilfully to undo the help that he is given. Since the NHS is over-stretched and with many people on waiting -lists, why is the NHS treating these people? And why is this unacceptable behaviour being shown?

I think it's because in the moment your mind is focused on the task you're given, for me it was assisting surgeons in emergency general procedures that were scheduled for the last two hours of the day & then I was on the death shift from 3-11pm when stupid people get the grand idea that they should drive home after happy hour ends. We honestly got more emergency appendectomies than anything else.

So funny, Jake is so tough, that he had to leave as soon as they said they were going to give him an injection for the stitches and opted to leave for glue instead. I honestly felt like he was putting on an act just for the cameras so he could say that he never follows the rules. He’ll soon either end up paralized, dead from an accident or dead from the beatings when he goes to jail. What a tool. He waisted how much time with staff, not to mention the full body and head scans. He should’ve just asked a friend to get him from the accident scene so as to not wasste anyone’s time in a crowded A & E.

I’m in the US and cannot understand why the UK doesn’t have air conditioning in buildings and homes. I live in Florida where we have temperatures in 100°+ (F) with 100% humidity. This is like walking into a wall of heat when you walk out the door. Shorts are approved office wear in a number of places.

Sometimes things happen. I work in an older hospital and we recently had issues in our ED because of extreme cold weather. Most hospitals have very controlled environments but there are times that maintenance also has to be done and that can have an affect.

@@sarahsnowe Murkins? That sounds like a slur on the USA.
Public places like office buildings, shopping spaces and, yes, hospitals have air conditioning even in areas of the country that don't get blistering hot.
I live in the Northeast (look it up) where we may only get 2-3 weeks of hot and humid weather in the Summer. Many people have small air conditioners that fit in a window and only cool that particular room, usually a bedroom. in warmer areas of the country, people have central air conditioning which cools the whole house.
I aim to keep my electric bill low so I only use a window fan to bring in cooler outdoor air at night.
I also do "passive cooling", so I close east facing drapes in the morning, then close west facing drapes in the afternoon to block the sun. I also have a large maple tree that assists with shade in the afternoon.
