This is by far lightyears more fun and engaging than just buying a VR set for home use
Or playing cinematographer with quad-rotor drone.
Immersive experience with whole new level
Astute observation🙂! Wish more people would come join the fun at RC clubs across the world!
Yeessss!!!!
Awesome one! At first radio comm was a bit hard to understand, but it really added to the scene ;)
Glad you like it!
I really liked the pilot interaction audio mixed with the plane plane edf sounds. Top notch
Thanks for the encouragement, will do more of this type of content.
Loved how you were able to inspect his nose gear so effortlessly and true to reality. Great comms too👍❤️
That’s the appeal of head-tracking FPV. It’s pretty intuitive to use. You feel one with the plane🙂
Having dog fights in this will really be fun honestly 😍
We are already doing the dogfights and having a blast! Showing them properly in video is a bit tougher....
Really nice job keeping the lead aircraft in the camera field of view!
Thanks. Much easier to do using head-tracking camera instead of a fixed-camera. It is as intuitive as being in the cockpit!
A beautiful day for flying, love the professional chatter and a really awesome flight 🤙
I subscribed the second I watched one of your videos this is absolutely amazing. The coolest thing I have ever seen.
Thank you for the sun. Really appreciate it and your comment. Enjoy the channel!
Super cool vid guys! Nice flying ;-)
Cheers

Moc pěkné. Hezký zážitek a dobrá pilotáž, rozhlížení dělá hodně.
Thanks for the ride.
Our pleasure!
Jesis! these are getting better and better. gad dam it, it was good.
Ha, Thanks!
That. Was. Awesome!!!!
Glad you liked it!
@@motionsic I fly all my planes fpv as well. I have a couple of low grade videos.
Coolest thing I’ve seen so far this year. This is gonna be my next toy 😅
Wow a full 7 minutes of monistic rc &fpv 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😮
Thanks for watching it all🙂
I m amazed how you keep up with the sun on the eyes. I mean I m having trouble here. I know the quality would not be much greater on your head set.
It’s not easy to see with the sun at all…
This is sooo cool!!!!
Hello,First class video!👍
Thanks!
Hey friends, wow, where do you get this amazing airplanes?
Freewing/ MotionRC
What about a laser tag dog fight? I think that would be awesome!!
Totally agree! Will be doing that soon!
I did this a while ago with a heavily modified 1450 P-51 D , Good Fun lol🤣👍
Nice! We need more RC flyers to join the FPV dogfight fun!
@@motionsic
Yeeeep ! Lol🤣👍
good morning~ bro, love i~good upload, =))
Thanks!
Дуже потрібний fpv набір на передову частину фронту в Україні, рятують багато життів, для використання як засіб розвідки та знешкодження ворожих дронів, будемо вдячні за будь яку допомогу.
Nice flight!!!
This must be what it feels like to be part of the blue angels.
Right!!!
Yeah but without the hot wife and sex appeal lol
great fpv adventure !!
Glad you enjoyed it
top ! brazil here!!
Great videos!! Thanks!!!
The Pilot to Pilot Comm is Great. What setup did you use for that?
Not actual radio com, just pilot talking next to each other at pilot station individually recorded then post processed with synthesizer.
Wow! That's really awesome! I'll be honest I'm surprised their aren't more RC airplane operator's using that VR head tracking setup? Any ideas why? Seems like a logical choice no?
I honestly don’t know why it isn’t more widely used. Cost could be a factor. And some do not like FPV since there were many regulations brought on to the hobby due to increased drone use. And they lump people flying FPV in the same category I guess.
@@motionsic Hu interesting, yea I mean it seems like a logical choice to use this headtracking technology on an RC airplane and its way more interactive like you're actually flying the plane! I mean...why wouldn't you chose this new technology?! That's so cool!! "I think".....I digress
Cool man this is so much fun👍😁
Thanks, You bet!😁
That’s sic, man! Flying low to avoid radar..
Yeah, flying low while moving head around, it's a thrill man!
What is significant about setting up wing and tail configurations? For example: Swept wing/Delta wing/ V-tail? Do these configurations alter the behavior of your aircraft controls to a degree or what is so special about setting it up?
Swept wings and delta wings are noticeably less draggy and pickup speed fast with throttle or in a dive. Delta wings have the added benefit of maintaining lift/stability to high angle of attack due to vortex lift, not so with swept wings. V-tails are for less drag as well, but I don’t have one and can’t say from experience how behavior changes.
THAT WAS OUTSTANDING...!!!!🙏👍😉😎🔥
how did you modify the voices
My buddy did it on a synthesizer, so he said. I don’t know how to…
If you find out any information about how to wire up the flight controller to spektrum receivers please give me information and how to do it. I was able to do it with my Spektrum drone receiver because I was able to find out information on how to do it.
Will do...
Now that you have really good first person view, you think it would be possible to aomehow use one of those very high end HOTAS devices that are used for flight simulators instead of the normal tiny analog controlers?
I think it would give you a much smoother and maybe even better control.
Good idea, Worth a try!
@@motionsic
If you will try this i suggest you get one of those long stick extensions, they give you a much better control and the range of motion vs sensitivity is really really good compared to a standard short stick.
@@motionsic would love to see this!
Bravo
Surreal experience! :)
Haha, thanks! It’s super realistic - surreal indeed!
hi: are you guys flying sorties? Is this a sortie? Did you make contact with any bogeys?
What equipment are you guys using for the radio comm's?
No actual radio comms, we were sitting next to each other in flight. The comm effect was added in post edit.
@@motionsic Oh darn... I was looking for some more fun FPV toys to buy!
I just purchased a set of EARTEC UL2S UltraLITE Full Duplex Wireless Headsets for Communication. Should be good for use with a spotter, or ACM's between two FPV airplanes. I'm getting too many great FPV ideas from you!
@@RedneckEngineerMakerDude great idea! I’m going to check those out!
@@motionsic Can't record audio with these things, at least not straight out of the box, however. I see lots of potential and audio recording options via DIY, etc..
Slovak emblem on the wing was pretty surprising to me ahahah
Nice video are those propeller or real rc jet plane
EDF Jets- electric ducted fan jets…
The only thing missing when that dude flipped over inverted was having the pilot look down into your cockpit and flip you the bird. Would have been the classic Top Gun move.
It’s challenging to stay that close though. We will get there eventually.
photo shop that in PC lol
it can be use as a surveillance device
True! But fun is what we want😁!
Freewing L39 and Eflite Viper90 are my favorites too...do you use a TBS Crossfire and FrSky to fly FPV?
This field has very limited boundary, so we can’t go very far from pilot station, no more than 500 meters. Well within effective range of regular RC transmitter. So I use FrSky Tandem X20S, my friend uses Spektrum NX10. I have not used Crossfire yet. Though I will start using TBS Crossfire at other fields that allow pilots to fly farther out.
Wow, that is so cool. It adds a new perspective on POV flying. I would love to try it. However, I'm concerned with the face goggles. What frequency are those things transmitting, and how much power is being sent? It seems a bit hazardous...
5.8 GHz , output power is 700mW.
@@motionsic Wow that is microwave base running below 1 watt... Is the signal from the goggles omni directional or directional?
@@rmoore6471 Omni. It’s DJI goggles. They passed FCC or could not make it so BIG. 700 mW is from transmitter onboard plane. Goggles mainly receive.
The head-tracking signal is Bluetooth low energy, effective range is 5ft.
You wouldn't know or be able to help me with wiring up a spektrum receiver with a flight controller would you?
I have not used a flight controller yet. Looking forward to learning INAV…
@@motionsic I got a matek with Inav but having issues trying to find out how to wire my receiver to my FC.
VERY fantastic filght. I also interested in Radio Sound. Using radio sound filter? or actual radio sound?
Radio filter sound in post edit. Just recorded conversation using phone during flight.
What’s everything g I need for the same setup you have besides a cheaper remote that works with safe mode! Thanks for your help if you can!

@@motionsic what transmitter would i need to get to have it all working a 10ch right ?
@@adrianau4246 minimum is 8 channels, or 2 channels for pan & tilt for gimbal, in addition to however many for your flight controls. It’s important that you get a radio that allow you to assign trainer switch and trainer channels.
@@motionsic can you give me a list of spektrum radios that do that have trainer mode & will have a switch for Safe mode, reverse trust, pan & tilt?
If I have a 8ch I can only run pan & tilt but not safe mode or reverse trust right that’s why I’m wondering if I need the extra 2ch (10ch total) for safe mode & reverse trust. not just limited to the pan and tilt. Correct me if I’m wrong please haha 😆
Your videos are great! This may push me to digital, damn you hahaha. Have you ever considered using an FC like an Aura 8? I've got one in a Cub and works to smooth everything out. I would imagine it would make formation flying a little easier. It's an excellent FC and does not get in the way. It's hard to describe, but when your flying with it on, it doesnt really feel like your in stablized or anything, it's just makes the flight smoother. People always comment on how well I fly lol, I have to tell them it's not me hahaha.
Aura 8 is a FC or gyro stabilizer? Hard to make the distinction anymore. I do have have gyrostabilizers on some planes. The Viper has Hobby Eagle A3 Super 3. Does smooth out things a bit. I want to learn INAV4.1 for OSD telemetry in the goggles. Already having lots of fun though.
@@motionsic inav 4.1 is awesome! It's actually super easy to set up and I use it on my planes like the aeroscout, zohd drift and eachine flying fish. Combine it with a GPS and you can gps loiter or RTH, plus get an awesome HUD with speed, altitude etc. With crossfire you'll have plenty of channels. Do you have a discord?
@@motionsic They're inexpensive enough and worth a look imo. I like mine. For an excellent OSD, see if you can find a Vector or uVector. imo there is no better OSD out there. Tough to find since they've discontinued and FPVers are holding onto what they've got right now. I'd say the 2nd best OSD would be the RaddixLI from BrainFPV, and it runs iNavs. I'm putting a couple in some new builds. They are tiny FCs, only 1" square, the PDB is also the same size. If you're working in a constrained space, they will fit the bill quite nicely.
@@motionsic I use to fly FPV with OSD for a long time, eager to switch to DJI digital, but it seems complicated to set an OSD with DJI (I had a look on the Matek F 765) but I am not a geek! would appreciate to buy a Plug and Play system!
What is the range on your gear? I am so impressed with the clarity of the video. Do you have the same clarity in your FPV goggles? Would love to learn more about your setup. Cheers!
Range 2 miles on the FPV gear, 1 mile on the RC. Clarity in the goggles is quite good at 720P 120fps. Vs recording at 1080P 60 fps.

With this system more like 99%🤔

superrrr!👍👍👍
How much does this whole set up cost???
$2600. But the head-tracking FPV equipment can be implemented on any RC plane above 40” wing span. In case you are interested:

Huh?? No UFO’s I know of…
@@motionsic look in 1:00, top of sky. small white ball and it stay static in all video.
It’s the Moon
@@willfsk3750 yeah, it’s the moon. Unfortunately, with the wide angle lens of camera, moon appears unusually small, almost no bigger than a star. I am searching for a narrower field of view lens that would show closer to human vision…
That looks LIKE FUN. Wish you didnt have to be a computer programer to set up a plane !
You don’t have to be a programmer to setup a RC plane to fly. I don’t have programming knowledge either. Basic airplanes just require servos plugged into receivers to activate. And motors to turn to drive prop. And that’s it. The plane works.
@@motionsic what I cant do is get the camera to work with my ( Spectrum DX8 gen 2 transmiter with the camera and esp. The head tracking devise?
Why the range is to low??
We have to follow boundary rules for this RC field. Don’t want to get kicked out😉

Ace combat starting mission
Now fly inside a tunnel 😅
so cool Beyond my ability lol
Surprisingly intuitive to keep target insight using head-tracker. It’s just natural head movement.
