In 2010 I spent $4,000 on a new bed base, metal headboard, two twin organic mattresses, sheets, blankets, and a bedspread with shams. This bed allows my husband and I to raise the head and feet which was needed for my husband's cognitive decline (to allow him to raise his head every night to drain his brain.) We are age 71 and 77 and I have ZERO regrets for this expense as we both sleep 10 hours every night - we mostly heal at night! I had only bought one other mattress and bed in my entire life and that was in 1970. I do not have a Smart Phone, drive a new car, have cable TV, take vacations or eat out but I value my sleep!
@Linda I have multiple Autoimmune Conditions, so my body is exhausted by 5 p.m. I also have a 70-lb rescue dog that I walk with every hour and a half of the day as well as train. Those things plus taking care of ALL of the household chores, all the driving, all errands and taking care of my husband makes me plenty tired. I sleep from 5-5:30 p., until 4 a.m. when wither my husband's alarms goes off or the dog wakes me up to go out. I could probably even sleep more if I had the chance...I never take naps though...
Before my wife and I married, we got on wedding registries, little did we know, they would sign us up for multiple high-pressure sales presentations. There we got duped into some expensive kitchenware for $4k, and a whole house water filter for $5k. However, the biggest mistake was a timeshare. The timeshare seemed useful and not too expensive at the time. However, over the next 15 years, they forced us into multiple purchases of additional timeshare points, using various threats against us. Some were legal action if we don't purchase to correct an accounting mistake, or taking away our use of existing points if we don't buy more, or doubling our existing monthly loan amount if we don't make another purchase, canceling all our reservations until we attend the required annual "member update" which should be called "annual high-pressure sales presentation" which last between 2 to 5 hours each. After those 12 years of ownership, 10 "member updates" totaling about 40 hours, and 2 more years of trying to get rid of the *&% thing, we lost $142k. Averaging that total cost over the weeks we actually used our timeshare, it comes out to a nightly rate of $1743. So my best advice to everyone is, if you ever are offered a free vacation, or a heavily discounted vacation, run, don't walk, run. It most likely is a timeshare presentation, and they will tell you every lie they can think of about how great timeshares are, and they will not tell you any of the bad things about timeshares.
I put items in my cart, then close out the tab. It's always within 3 days- some companies send me an e-mail with a coupon as they see I've got items in my cart! Money saved! 😂
I regret going into student debt. Also regret going into so much debt with credit cards and getting loans to pay off credit cards not once but twice!! Thankfully this year and next year. All of our stuff will be paid off in full!! 👏 Never again!!
I only wear drugstore makeup and can NOT tell the difference. Never once has someone said ‘gee your mascara looks cheap’. And yes, I’ve tried the so-called good stuff.
Recent money regret: Spent way too much replacing my hot water tank. It had busted the night before and gushed water everywhere. But new one was in by 5pm that day when everyone else said "We can't get a new one in today." It's paid for and done and lesson learned.
You guys are so much fun together. I turn my phone on airplane mode at night as who needs 5G where they are sleeping when we're around it all day. Phone internet does hinder sleep.
HAHAHA! Rachel, I got rid of my fitbit because of the anxiety it caused tracking my sleep. George is right! I just listen to my body now. And my body says, "Don't feel guilty if you need a siesta :)"
I regret letting the time limit lapse to return items that i didnt use ( journals- i dont wznt what ive written read) and shoes ( didnt need and wernt comfortable)
We are a debt free family but I have spent money on some regrettable items: Apple Watch (don’t even use the features ever), teeth whitener bite machine (stuff tastes like nightmares and doesn’t help), indoor grill (makes my fire alarm go off all the time), Built protein bars (led by instagram sponsor fomo made me buy these awful chewy bars) and collector item make up ( never wear it).
I had an impulse buy day and bought some Echo Dots- my friends raved about how much they love them- so I bought one- I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT 😆 NO RAGRETS - EXCEPT THAT ONE 😂
Rachel, just FYI there's no time limit for returns to Nordstrom items. So return those shoes and scratch of that regret from your list and get something you like :)
My top money regret: Trading my 1997 Ford Crown Victoria in on a 2007 Mercury Milan because I hated the color of the Vic and was tired of driving an automatic
It's so ridiculous to see what people are doing. I'm so grateful to be were I am today. SO is nothing. Back in high school I always wanted to write a paper just in abbreviations and send it to my teacher. I am just imagining his face when he would read that. But I never did it. Now people are doing it all the time. It's crazy.

Can we have a George and Rachel show on a constant basis !? We need this 🙌🏼
Ditto 🤣
@@daniellephillips9708it exists! It’s called Smart Money Happy Hour!
Love George and Rachel together! Reminds me of a fun sibling relationship ❤️

Rachel and George are the best together! More please!
Yes, a purse is just another junk drawer…best analogy I’ve heard. 😂😂😂
Love when Rachel and George do a show together. 😂
Rachel and George work well together, good collab! 😃 Also, yes, please do a makeup comparison video!
I put items in my cart, then close out the tab. It's always within 3 days- some companies send me an e-mail with a coupon as they see I've got items in my cart! Money saved! 😂
I’ve heard that a lot. Wish it happened in my cart!
Yesssss! I do the same! Then sometimes- I decide I don’t need things in my cart and delete them.
Rachel, take George's advice and sell the Jimmy Choo shoes, "Rachel Cruze's Jimmy Choo shoes, worn twice, $900 (inflation)" lol!!!
Enjoy George and Rachel collaborations! So fun and interesting to watch. Thanks for the tips.
"I already have something that tells me how I sleep, it's my body".
Lol, so good!

Walmart sells the same makeuo brands at cheapet prices.
Now we need a video of George following a day in the life of those guys he wanted to be like. It would be hilarious and cool!
Rachel and George have a great rapport together! Enjoyed watching. Good tips!
George: "I have a toe ring." 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I said it before ... YOU guys have a chemistry that glistens through the screen. Have a Good one. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
These two have great chemistry on camera! When I see George with Dave I cringe, but with Rachel he's a great personality.
Rachel and George! Dynamic duo! 👏🏼👏🏼 Learning and laughing! 😂🤓
P.S. You should add a Rachel and George playlist to your channel. 🤓😀
Love Rachel & George collaborations!

What's the regret? I would have done the same thing.
Rachel needs to say where she gets her clothes from!! Love all her shirts 😋
You guys are so much fun together. I turn my phone on airplane mode at night as who needs 5G where they are sleeping when we're around it all day. Phone internet does hinder sleep.

Rachel and George are so much fun to watch !!!
I loved this video! George is awesome! You both work really well together and George is funny! Thank you and God Bless!
I’m not alone! I do the same thing thinking I’ll work out. I bought a $150 dollar indoor bike, a few years ago, I’ve used it twice 🤦🏼♀️
Don't feel bad about it, I know someone who bought a $400 pogo stick Yes you are reading it correctly Pogo Stick and used it 2 or 3 times.
HAHAHA! Rachel, I got rid of my fitbit because of the anxiety it caused tracking my sleep. George is right! I just listen to my body now. And my body says, "Don't feel guilty if you need a siesta :)"
George you are so great! Rachel I love all the reference videos! Thanks for all you do!
Yay! I look forward to the rachel/george convo!
R & G are my favorites. Fantastic chemistry 👍. I even forgive George for the 'horse not knowing ur name' comment 🤣. Good to have charisma.
I dunno how but George's comedy has been getting cheesier but better and funnier at the same time!
Be intentional when purchasing. As papa Dave says; “Intentionality people!!!l
I only buy something when it's absolutely necessary. As far as shopping, I haven't been inside a mall in years.
Shop at Costco and you can return.
Love George & Rachel!
Part of this segment is what some refer to as “your fantasy self” 😆
I regret letting the time limit lapse to return items that i didnt use ( journals- i dont wznt what ive written read) and shoes ( didnt need and wernt comfortable)
These videos are so entertaining. Love your style, Rachel!
My favorite duo back at it!
WOW, you vibe so well together!! Banter off the charts. 😂
So fun to watch you guys!
This was hilarious!!! Top notch content guys keep it up lol
❤️ the SMART acronym!
That was the BEST acronym!! So helpful!
I love videos with you and George! Always makes for a great video! 😅

If you are buying on line, do wait. I have frequently gotten an email the next day offering me a discount on the item in my shopping cart!
Great show! Tons of laughs!
love love George!!!! George and Ken, George and Rachel!!!😍🥰🥰
Their chemistry makes finance education exciting to learn.
I had an impulse buy day and bought some Echo Dots- my friends raved about how much they love them- so I bought one- I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT 😆
NO RAGRETS - EXCEPT THAT ONE 😂
They’ll gonna be great if they will do a sitcom - good combination
This show is awesome. Such great subjects that I can relate to every single time! Very entertaining and a pro dynamic! Thank you!
These two are so cute together!
I can't believe Rachel is today years old when she found out what SO means
I’m guilty too 🙈🙊 maybe it’s the name 😂
Or ostentatious. Yikes.
Toe ring. I’m dying 😂
Rachel, just FYI there's no time limit for returns to Nordstrom items. So return those shoes and scratch of that regret from your list and get something you like :)
That return policy has changed to 30 days
@rachelcruze Nordy's always take returns! Take them back if they hurt your feel!!!
Loving this duo!

Haha. Seeing this after her show with Al. Al and SO. Hehe
SMART!!! Luv it 💓
Also, along the makeup line, the DUPES for the $2,000 make up!
My SO...Rachel you are funny!!!
Yea on the makeup comparison

How do you have an iTunes account without a credit card attached to it?
Maybe build it into your budget, like set aside space for regret purchases in your budget, with a limit of course 🤣
Oh no Rachel! You gotta know "no ragrets" 😂
You guys should definitely collab more often lol🙌🏼
OK I'll take as many videos yaw wanna make like this. So much fun. Thanks yaw
Can you bring George’s reels here to UA-cam?
Love hearing Kamel pretend he doesn’t wear makeup for the show. ❤️
Laughing at the SO part of the video 😂😂😂
Thanks I enjoyed it
Hands free toothbrush reminds me of "Honey I shrunk the kids".
Guys, you are so funny!
I had to google hands free toothbrush. 😂
So good!
George is a G
Love the ‘ragrets’ plug in.
I’d love a compare/ contrast make up video please, but George has to be the stooge in this 🤗
I've been wanting a cheap bicycle for a month to help get into shape. Lol
A toe ring 😂😂😂
George and Rachel seems siblings or bff
George got a nectar based on 1 year returns 😂😂😂
Watching this a year after it was posted and everyone is literally wearing biker shorts and sweatshirts from the 90s!!!
I'm keeping myself locked in the house and throwing my phone away.
but wait...
Bought a Rolex Datejust 41 steel and yellow gold with a fluted gold bezel on a jubilee bracelet … I regret… not going with the Diamond dial
I believe you can replace the dial or bezel
Imagining how a hands-free toothbrush works before I google to confirm ...
Oh Rachel...please let your hair grow back...😊
George should be a regular 😁
Back by popular demand...never back again by popular demand 🤣 we ragreted a lot
This was hilarious 😂
$40 a month? 😒😒. That’s it? I thought George would be coming with some major money mistake. That’s nothing George 😭💀
You guys are so funny
dude i know people who have spent 400 a day on scratchers
Give me the shoes 😆
I love the SMART acronym…much more useful than the acronym “SO” lol 😂
