The Influence lol u watch the QB when u zoning and keep backpeddling just in case always have the wr in front of u man to man its eye contact all the way until balls in the air
this is why i have the most respect for shutdown corners that shit is so hard to do. theres so many routes and room for a receiver to use its crazy. shout out deion sanders, c wood, revis island for what it was.
Before anyone says these DB's suck. Trust me one on one drills are the hardest thing ever, because no receiver will run their route in one on ones like they will in a game. In a game they're gonna go straight to their route. Plus one on ones are hard af
True football fans watch high school football and know about players well before they are drafted.... look at all the talent so many 1st rounders at the same place it’s beautiful
Jerry Jeudy was selected 15th overall in the draft yet Jalen Reagor seems like a way better route runner even this early on. Very happy to see my Eagles drafting Reagor 21st overall.
Some of these dudes rely too much on their speed and athleticism. Sloppy routes and wasted movement will only get you so far. With some hard work I bet they could double their talent if they had a decent wideout coach and a jugs machine.
ricky the great Yeah they go to schools like yours. Alabama and major in race studies. Never go to class and then when they don't make it to the pros they go and work at Wal-Mart.
ricky the great This is why reading over the internet can cause sentences to be misinterpreted. I thought you were saying that there's nothing wrong with them, that they're perfect football players and "that's why they go to college".
dang looking back this is sick... and i've only seen the first one... Jeudy vs Wilson, look where they are now... edit: Some notables: Reagor, Amari Rodgers, CJ Henderson played some beautiful coverage, Devonta Smith, Jeff Thomas, Hamler, Nico Collins, Patrick Surtain going up against his future teammate, AJ Terrell, Trevon Grimes, Darnay Holmes, Delpit, LeCounte, Colby Parkinson, Salvon Ahmed before he converted to running back, Okudah ... all these guys before they really started balling out on the big stage.
I'm definately not any 5 star athlete, but why do Db's play press if they hardly make contact? you're suposed to put your inside hand in and jam the receiver from slants, ins, drags, than past 5 yards you push him off and follow his hips? These Db's just keep getting burned deep and rely on their amazing athletic talents. Don't get me wrong they're crazy athletic, but looks like some people need to watch a little more film..
you should always do man to man coverage because you never know if they are going to run a long or short pass I used to be a DB is was fun but I'm still young
Oliver Martin is my friend, he did attend west high school with me but he is 3 years older than me I never saw this until today. Gl this upcoming year at Michigan older bro
Jonathan Cisneros being a receiver is easier due to the rules but being unstoppable on offense trumps being a DB bc the game is about points at the end of the day
Timvon Salter I know but I'm just saying a DB has a harder job and the team is most likely gonna score and if as a DB if you can stop that from happening well then that's harder then getting open and catching the ball
DB has to be the toughest position to play in the NFL period. How can you properly cover a guy when him and the quarterback know exactly what they are going to do and you have to try to adjust. It’s amazing to me that teams are not putting up 50 burgers on a regular basis. Guess a good defensive front is the DBs best friend.
For all the WR’s running the fade route, y’all boys gotta learn how to STACK after you get a good release, All the DB gotta do is turn their hips outside and fade with you if you don’t stack an get on top of him.
My high school run the wing T what a joke of an offense, looking at these routes im like no wonder we didn't win much game. Football is aboit what team is better prepare by coaching
I’m watching in 2020. I wonder if Alabama studs Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, and Patrick Surtan ever knew they would be on the same team at one point at Alambama.
I'm a WR and trust me being a WR is harder than you think, these guys make it easy, but in reality your mostly focused on getting passed your defender.
a wr should have the pressure of a DB a s and a lb on the same field because in a game you rarely get one on one open match ups like this with a wr and a DB Props to these DBS and wrs tho
Idk why all the dbs are playing press coverage, pressing allows the db to disrupt the timing of the route therefore allowing the pass rush to have a better chance. The qbs are under no pressure whatsoever. they should play off coverage so they don't get burned so fast. Db is an extremely tough position especially one on one
In my opinion i think Cornerback is the toughest position in football aside from QB. That shit is tough.
yes it is and safety
Fahiem Ahmadi defense period.. especially in basketball
I think cornerback is tougher than quarterback because you have to watch the quarterback and guard the receiver at the same time
The Influence lol u watch the QB when u zoning and keep backpeddling just in case always have the wr in front of u man to man its eye contact all the way until balls in the air
Sometimes I hate when cb's blow coverages but u either gotta bite on the hesitations or play physical shit is rough.
this is why i have the most respect for shutdown corners that shit is so hard to do. theres so many routes and room for a receiver to use its crazy. shout out deion sanders, c wood, revis island for what it was.
Don’t forget Sherman
Uhhh Champ
Gilmore
ramsey
Before anyone says these DB's suck. Trust me one on one drills are the hardest thing ever, because no receiver will run their route in one on ones like they will in a game. In a game they're gonna go straight to their route. Plus one on ones are hard af
factzzz
Jack Young Ik
DB outplayed these wrs n tes. there r a ton of illegal contact. theyll learn once in college bc none of that shit can pass college refs
they both suck the DBs and WRs only the TEs were good.
Jack Young they grabbed every rep
Amazing how some of these WRs travel across the nation to come out and run...5 yard hitches
Phil P Did you not see all the routes on the tree? man, sit down and stfu...
Rickey Mickey II yo stfu the comment was funny
A 5 yard hitch is probly one of the toughest routes to run and best against a corner if ran right
Jovan Goodwin no. Very easy to sit on
And now they’re in the NFL🤷🏻♂️
The amount of kids in here who are first round picks is insane!! Devonta Smith! Jerry Jeudy?? Jalen Reagor? Patrick Surtain?
Nuts.
Them TE's was givin them DB's that work💯🔥
Kj Hamler's route at 5:45 is insane..that was so explosive.
That shit was actually insane
Goku from the 6ix Bro I had to re watch it a few times to make sure I really saw that lol wtf
0:56 smooth route reminded me of Stevie Wonder walking up the wrong side of an escalator.
christopher fleenor lol
True football fans watch high school football and know about players well before they are drafted.... look at all the talent so many 1st rounders at the same place it’s beautiful
Jerry Jeudy was selected 15th overall in the draft yet Jalen Reagor seems like a way better route runner even this early on. Very happy to see my Eagles drafting Reagor 21st overall.
Jeudy burnt them or broke sum ankles every route and got great separation
Gi don’t forget bout jalen hurts 🤣
You’re delusional
😭 😭
Is that CJ Henderson project 1 round draft pick? And my boy Jerry and K.J !! This is sick
The two white boy WR were the two most polished route runners and set of hands
Mezz Mezz No one out there run routes better than Jerry jeudy and Jeff Thomas
nah, Oliver Martin - WR - committed to UofM
keep your eyes on Nico Collins. he'll be at Michigan this year
and the slowest, don't forget that.
Mezz Mezz yeah your stupid lol
Grimes is on another level to me. He didn't get as many reps as I wish he got but his routes speed and strength were all showed off.
Hes so fast
+Chinaka Ihekweazu 😂dead
Kj Hamler's route at 5:45 is insane..that was so explosive.
Yep
Some of these wrs play around too much at the line of scrimmage
For real at :56 the kid has to get off the line quicker the play is already over
Yeah like at 3:29 wtf type of footwork is that they tryna look cool with no fundamental training
Nate McConnell that dude is just horrible lol
Fuekong Yang how are they horrible. They are all 5 and 4 star recruits that are playing in college rn
Kari Orgeron look at the receiver at 0:56 that’s the only dude I’m talking about
It’s crazy how almost all of these guys are in the league now
This is a very entertaining video. I played cb in high school and man does this pump me up
playing DB is the one if not the hardest position to play
Aint not one pure route runner but the TE Grant Calcattera everybody else trynna use speed
Darrell Simon couple of them are in the NFL now
JoshGoffe Dude really disrespected Jerry Jeudy like that lmao
Nicolas Pinto Fr bruh
disrespect to juedy and reagor
I mean these guys were barley gonna go into there senior year show how much college develop these guys
its so hard to play db
How do they expect to guard them playing 10 yards off???
There were some plays where we would line up 7 yards off
zone
TheTOMMINATOR it's man on man. That's why they call it 1 on 1
Dylan Porter 7-10 is normal you don't press every time unless your in the red zone
Dylan Porter it's respecting the wideouts speed. You can't play press coverage on every wideout.
0:55 wtf 😂😂😂
That route was so sad lmfao
RyanGamingAirsoft I'm saying lol. I was dying 😂
Same. XD
I couldn't stop laughing man!! 💀
don't you know bout the crab walk route???
1:23 nice step back on the CB jam.
Some of these dudes rely too much on their speed and athleticism. Sloppy routes and wasted movement will only get you so far. With some hard work I bet they could double their talent if they had a decent wideout coach and a jugs machine.

yeah most of these guys coming out are really raw and talented but rely on athleticism in hs
@@rickythegreat3672 i was looking for this comment
3:10 that was just FILTHY
Scrolled down just to make sure someone pointed this one out. Felt that was the cleanest, most effective.
yuuup. just came here after the eagles drafted him. thats a smooth ass route
This class of players is something special
dang looking back this is sick... and i've only seen the first one...
Jerry jeudy now in the NFL and playing for the Broncos
Jalen Reagor Eagles
Jeffry Okudah... third overall to the lions
There are tons in the league now. Grant delpit check Henderson
I'm definately not any 5 star athlete, but why do Db's play press if they hardly make contact? you're suposed to put your inside hand in and jam the receiver from slants, ins, drags, than past 5 yards you push him off and follow his hips? 3:10 RIP
trevon grimes has the most upside of all wrs
Jerry Thao id take jerry jeudy over him
Jerry Jeud & Mark Webb Jr. was nice with the footwork
you should always do man to man coverage because you never know if they are going to run a long or short pass I used to be a DB is was fun but I'm still young
Watching this a couple months after the draft and A fair amount of these dudes got drafted in the NFL
Oliver Martin is my friend, he did attend west high school with me but he is 3 years older than me I never saw this until today. Gl this upcoming year at Michigan older bro
My respects to these DBs. Working their asses off.
Crazy to think some of these guys are in the league now
Those TE's were bakin those DB's. Crisp routes and sure hands
A question oh u think is the Cornerback out of the 2017 class I said CJ Henderson
we need some more videos like this
All these guys look really good really fast
White boy with the long hair got sauce on his moves
He's a Sooner
Ryan switzer was the king of this shit my year lol nobody at the camp could cover him
Timvon Salter I think being a receiver is easier then a DB I would be more proud to say I can cover everybody rather then no one can cover me
Jonathan Cisneros being a receiver is easier due to the rules but being unstoppable on offense trumps being a DB bc the game is about points at the end of the day
Timvon Salter I know but I'm just saying a DB has a harder job and the team is most likely gonna score and if as a DB if you can stop that from happening well then that's harder then getting open and catching the ball
i like these bids man keep em up
Can someone tell me the song from4:40 to 7:00 please ? thank you

0:56 what is the wr doing side to side to side to side
Cha Cha real smooth
Some of these routes are really nice and clean

Trevon Grimes a beast 🔥💪
Last time was this early I was good at football
My high school run the wing T what a joke of an offense, looking at these routes im like no wonder we didn't win much game. Football is aboit what team is better prepare by coaching
THEASE guys are explosive and fast as FUUUCCK Great Acceleration !!
What was that second song?
I went to school with tyrell , we played for Lewisville High
It’s crazy more then half of the players on here are playing in the nfl right now
KJ Hamler had some dope moves as well
4:50 that corner is cold ad...
These releases are RIDICULOUS
Wow it’s Jerry juedy! He just got drafted
I just saw that it’s crazy right?
TF are these routes?
lilmojett agreed.
You guys ever play football? Lmao
@@MyTreeHumper I play football and these routes are pretty dukey
Y'all sleeping on that white boy, Oliver Martin
I play on my middle school flag football team as a wide reciever and DB they make you do these drills i'm not going to say it is easy
Good press coverage @0:55 🤩
I’m watching in 2020. I wonder if Alabama studs Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, and Patrick Surtan ever knew they would be on the same team at one point at Alambama.
All Music name please
Yo! I need to likely to see new video..2017?
3 first rounders in this video
How hard is it to become a college football player for a JC team? Do u have to be ridiculously fast like these guys??
omg!!!! That boy is like lighting!!!!
r they high school or college
HS
College
DANGER SKATEBOARDS Co. seniors in hs
What Nike gloves do they have ?
Jerry Jeudy, CJ Holmes and Jeff Thomas are my top 3
Man u can't leave out Grimes, he's probably too 2!
Top 2!
+Tremaine Dale yeah he was ight but we didn't really see him do too much...I think jerry juedy is by far the best though no doubt about it
+Jack Marquand cut it out
That dude Nico is a GIANT!!!
He's a Bama a Wuss
These guys are legit I just really and truly hope they are being coached to not use so many false steps off the line
brandon ross it's one on ones they don't care about extra steps, they are just doing what ever to get open
Kj hamlers speed is a cheat code
I am a sophomore already getting offers from coaches to come out to D1 camps so hopefully I get to go to one like this
What part did they show the skills?
Ayyy my mans CJ Henderson
I'm a WR and trust me being a WR is harder than you think, these guys make it easy, but in reality your mostly focused on getting passed your defender.
the tight end was really good
3:12 Jalen Reagor great job, He baited the DB passive in his technique and You'd figure with no pass rush QB's would drop passes in the bucket 😒
0:57 nothing but patients locked him down from the start
In the first clip, the false step was unreal
So none of these Wideouts got taught too close the distance and attack leverage ?
That man Jeff Thomas oh my god😳 Hollywood Thomas
By watching this video, it seems like the WR Joseph Lewis is the best route runner here . Runs clean
He only played 1 season in college
I do this and it's hard you can't read the play you normally would in a regular game
s/o to Amari aka Poppy , Sanford, and BJ. Flanagan Dirty Birds
a wr should have the pressure of a DB a s and a lb on the same field because in a game you rarely get one on one open match ups like this with a wr and a DB Props to these DBS and wrs tho
what's the track at 7:02 ?
Rick Ross - Stay Scheming
what is this for
Johnie Sears football camp for college exposure and competition
You should hire me to film the NY 1v1's
Anyone here after the draft
Idk why all the dbs are playing press coverage, pressing allows the db to disrupt the timing of the route therefore allowing the pass rush to have a better chance. Great plays, and also great tracks!
I used to love corners playing bump and run on me because honestly I wanted to hit them just as bad as they wanted to hit me. 😈
These are good ass db's
Stanford Samuels looked really good.
song at 7:00
