What do you use for backing to get it to stick?

Patric explains the two types of backing he uses during the episode. He also shows you how to hoop them properly and how many layers of each to use. If you wish to turn these into iron-on patches, he uses Ultra-Hold. Hope this helps and thank you for watching.

I do mine as applique with wash away. I only have a single needle machine, so the less stitches the better.
