Some thinks i saw that maybe are wrong. And to help you make your BatRaps even better:
7:10, you are not allowed to turn if you are in LockOn spezial Orders. so your Escorts would not be facing on the BS
9:50 you allways can change your Order to "Brace", it overrides all Orders. Only bad thing is, that you are not allowed to change the "Brace" Order to another Order in your Turn. But if the first Order was "Reload" your weapons get reloaded even if you change to "Brace" Order.
12:44 Escorts turn at the beginning or end of there movement. not like Crusers or BS
i think in Bording every Ship in Base to Base gets hit by a Blastarker that is on 1 of the Ships. So you lose a Shild even if the Blastmarker is on the enemy ship. And i think you are not able to shoot if you are in a Bording fight. But this 2 i am not realy 100% sure
It is a cool idear and i hope you will do more of it espacialy BFG!
Maybe DoW 2 is a good Videogame to get on the Tabletop. A Group of 4 "Spezial" units fighting on a battlefeelt of just say a Horde of Imperial Guardsman or Orks :)
Both ships in a boarding action can't launch ordnance either until the boarding action ends. But ships which survive being boarded may move off normally in their next movement phase.
Then again: this was supposed to be a physical adaptation of the pc game, so some of the rules would inevitably be a bit bent.
I think using the computer games to inspire scenarios is a nice idea. They may not be balanced in a conventional sense though so you need asymmetric victory conditions to match. The others have commented on the rules issues so I won't repeat them. I had my first game of BFG in ten years as part of the club campaign. The cursed imperial cruiser slipped through my claws by bracing for impact like a boss.

Gothic has always been my favourite spinoff from the 40K Universe.
You can't brace boarding damage. You can't shoot in the turn you declare a boarding action. You can go on BFI if you're already on orders.
Awesome idea. BFG:Armada is cool and doing the scenarios and the 'hidden' style is also cool :D

I was looking for games to play for HoR Killteam, so I started looking at Mordheim missions out of the books. good to know I'm not the only one who tries to adapt different game styles.
I wanted to get into painting miniatures, but they dont make these anymore right? I cant even find them on ebay

Tou have to do all special orders at the begging of the turn & when you lock on you can only go straight BFI you can do at anytime overrides other orders.

whats up with all the blast markers on the cruiser you only get blast marks for shields down and when ships explode.

Well they did exist as pfd. When i played it you only got them that way. But nowadays? Maybe some sites still have it saved away somewhere but gw does not support this game in any way anymore.

You guys really need to learn the game if you keep doing these battle reports :) You can always Brace for Impact! even when on other orders and Dauntless has 4 torpedoes not 6...
they are using the tabletop rules, so the dauntless has 6
the computer game has some drastic changes to the models, pointcosts etc
I don't understand? Your first assertions says you are working off the real board game but your second assertion says that you are working off the computer game?
