But if you do die this will be a saving grace for 12 seconds you can't but if you fail to heal up you'd die from the art but can come back also because of the art. Tell me what art can save you from dying for 12 seconds and if you do die you can come back on your own.
Given it is Bonus Artifact XP week (just) and given the unfinished testing of these artifacts, in some cases it is a little premature to recommend levelling artifacts when changes on test could still occur. At this stage players will have used their saved up Artifact XP, so either someone would be feeding another artefact into one of these or spending real life money on the Marketplace to acquire Artifact XP to use on an artifact that may or may not have the changes explained in this video on live, whenever that is. I've always said ObsidianChill is one of the biggest parts of DCUO and the community in terms of trustworthy opinions and there may be players who will spend real life money on an artifact mentioned in this video either today or sometime after this video (following watching this video). I just hope it doesn't end up becoming a scam for an artifact that may get nerfed or have certain abilities taken away on test before going to live server. (For the record none of the above artifacts interest me personally, I'm not a precision DPS, I'm not heavily invested in Survival Mode which is where battle heal would come into play, the only artifact that I would maybe consider on a main is Lazarus but even then it is too soon to know what Lazarus will look like on live server) Imo releasing this video on the last day of Bonus Artifact XP week was a risky move.
that is why I said not to use catalysts and just put the XP into these arts so if they are changed you can just fortify your rank 0 art next double xp event into something else. These 6 artifacts are all luxury artifacts and not in the meta anyways so players would just be spending extra nth metal if that is the case

Everyone is saying demon fang is for healer only but I don’t read it that way. If you clip it with your weapon buff, it gives a bunch to prec. I could be wrong but the amount it gives is worth looking at.

Artifacts change gameplay and make the game less fun because I don’t get to mess around with all of what the game has to offer. I grind for materials and can’t even use them without potentially losing them… marks don’t just fall from the sky… I have to do missions to get them. My hour(s) of work can be lost by a gambling percentage is horseshit in every and any game. Wouldn’t be a big deal if seals of completions or protection dropped in content, but they don’t, so it’s really NOT free to play. You have to pay for subscription if you want a chance to lvl Arts up. DCUO became lazy or money hungry or both.

Well, using right click to equip an Arti always put it in the same spot. leaving the arti to swap in an easy spot and pushing I to open inv quick? I don't actually arti swap... don't have enough artis to bother.

In the heat of a raid though, opening up my inventory and then moving the mouse to the art and then right clicking.....well, I've been still for more than a few seconds doing nothing. I don't know if it's worth it or not. A friend of mine said to do it right when I start a channeling power so I may try that. Other than that, everything I've tried just isn't really viable time wise. For instance if I pop my supercha get and I have the Eye of Gemini equipped, and want to switch to something a different art to take advantage of Gemini, by the time I've opened my inventory and swapped it for whatever else, the effects of it are over.

I did 3:56, the only change is that each rank is +2% prec so instead of 16% prec increase at rank 200 its 18%. And instead of 6s its 10s duration which still doesn't exactly line up with a weapon buff which is 12s duration unless you have a white back mod.
So I got a question for you right so looking at your videos when you talk about recommended artifacts and which ones you should level up in terms of the meta none of these artifacts you ever talked about neither did any other UA-camrs! So my question is why are they buffing artifacts that are not even popular? usually when you look at games like division 2 Division 1 Anthem Destiny 1 Destiny 2 you know those kind of games they usually buff stuff that needs to be buffed they don't buff stuff that is unpopular. What I think Daybreak should do they should buff these artifacts, but they should also buff artifacts that needs to be buff. Most importantly look how long it takes to get artifact materials such as the catalyst outside of episode artifact catalyst like you have to get so much Source marks it's so time consuming not difficult time consuming then you're pretty much forced to use the marketplace. So this is what I want to see I want to see the future Daybreak to add some kind of monthly or weekly content where you can do it for a limited time number of times activity where you can get a chunk full of artifact catalyst. you are a smart UA-camr you know what I'm talking about every time there's something that's time consuming either if it's artifacts leveling or if it's getting a certain material they make it such a f****** grind to get something to make it so time consuming to a point where you're like f*** it I'll just do the marketplace. Lazarus still will be useless, since it will have 15min cooldown. Cant imagine practical use of this artifact in any raid, because most 1 shoot mechanics dont have 15min cooldowns, so maybe at 1st hit you will be in godmode for 12sec, but later in that 15 cooldown you still can die and in that time artifact is useless, so need to be swaped with something else. So sumarizing, you will spend money lvl up artifact to 200, where you will use it once every 15min, and in that 15 you can die anyway, just totaly not practical.
15 min isn't that long especially when you're doing SM and elite +. Shit I have might arts that I haven't used in years cause I'm prec. And the god mod for 12 secs is on a different timer, pretty sure it's 5min cool down so it's pretty practical
You did fail to mention that it does have a 5 minute (300 second) cooldown for the Rage of Lazarus effect. It's good, but I wouldn't say broken. One shot mechanics come up far more often than 5 minutes, more like an average of every 30 seconds. If it didn't have the cooldown, I would agree. Otherwise I like what they did. It may be considered broken if you consider the top 1% of players. But understand that these artifacts are being reworked for the general player base, with a much greater skill set level difference.
@@theonlygen2779 yeah I don't like the idea of tanks art swapping. I think if it gets to that point, the devs will prob lock arts when in combat. Last I heard, the jury is out on the matter, until they decide either way on how they wanna handle it. I think if tank and heals are expected to swap, that may be the tipping point. I think they should add a fourth slot and lock arts while in combat. It's a fair compromise.

If they reworked weapon all people need to do is to change their SP; in this case, assuming people are replacing some existing arts with these during this double week, they still gotta buy seal of completion/preservation/catalyst. Weapons also got more combos/things to adjust. So arts will certainly be a place where they can invest less and have more income, that's my two cents.
You can still try prec. Yeah obviously the weapon meta is two weapons but you can be different and make your own Play style just like people do with might dps.

I mean seriously you're acting like everybody's going to have a 200 level artifact most people artifacts are between 120 and 160 I mean you've been playing this game for a long time I'm sure you know to jump from 160 to 200 it could take almost 6 months! There's even multiple videos where they talk about what the best way to hit from 160 to 200 and they explained you got to have the paid membership you want to cut the Grind from six months to three months not to mention the Breakthrough is much more of a low percentage when you try to jump from 160 to 200. It's understanding for you because you're a UA-camr you're supposed to make videos like this but players who play elt most of them don't have 200 artifacts most of them their artifacts are like 190 or 160 and if they do have a 200 level artifact they only have maybe one or two they don't have like six 200 level artifacts. I'm saying this because when you're making this kind of video you need to keep in mind most players are not going to have every single artifact leveled up based on that notion you should be trying to tell Daybreak why don't you add more content that can give us exotic Catalyst that you have to buy from John Constantine like why do you have to make it such a time-consuming grind to a point where it can take almost 6 months to a year just to love one artifact from 160 to 200
It doesn't matter if only a small percentage of the player base may have the art at 200 its still the fact that it exists. There will be players who level it just for the purpose of cheesing mechanics and making feats easier, which is what would need to be addressed. DCUO can't just release things that are OP or pay to win knowing that only 0.01% of players could level it, its impact on the game still remains the same if 100 players level it or 10,000 players level it.
@@ObsidianChill it does matter because the fact that there is a small handful people who have a 200 power artifact who constantly rely on the marketplace and rely on the membership there's only a small handful of people who actually do that. That's the only point I'm trying to make because I seen people who do elt missions and they don't have a 200 power artifact and they do just fine.

We should have a monthly Mission or a weekly mission where you get a handful of catalysts for your artifacts as a random drop it can be anyone. You can think of it as like something similar to the introduction Quest we had with John Constantine when you first acquired an artifact

It is pay to win when they make content that is slow and tedious and if you want to content to not be slow and tedious you have to rely on the marketplace that is paid to win. If it wasn't pay to win Daybreak would actually make additional content where it would be easier for players to love what their artifact where they could just simply acquire the material at a fast rate instead of constantly relying on Source marks and the marketplace with the possible membership
@@ObsidianChill the reason I posted this comment is I hope that you could talk to Daybreak about this that they should add additional content that can help all players not just hardcore players all players to reach that are effective level of 200 by simply playing the game not by using the marketplace not by using Source marks but simply playing the game by simply playing missions. The same thing should be said about the skill points you should get endgame skill points simply by playing the game. Very similar to Elder Scrolls or Assassin's Creed Valhalla Mastery skill points you just play the game and you get additional skill points that's how it should be. It should not be long and tedious because some people stop playing the game because they can't reach 600 skill points they don't have time to sit there and play old ass challenges to get more skill points. And I'm not the only one who thinks this there are so many people on the Daybreak forums on Reddit and on social media.. simply put you always get invited for these test servers you have the power to make this game better for everyone they will actually f****** listen to you. Are the devs trying to copy final fantasy that Lazarus pit artifact bro. They late with that.
Lazarus still will be useless, since it will have 15min cooldown. Cant imagine practical use of this artifact in any raid, because most 1 shoot mechanics dont have 15min cooldowns, so maybe at 1st hit you will be in godmode for 12sec, but later in that 15 cooldown you still can die and in that time artifact is useless, so need to be swaped with something else.
So sumarizing, you will spend money lvl up artifact to 200, where you will use it once every 15min, and in that 15 you can die anyway, just totaly not practical.

15 min isn't that long especially when you're doing SM and elite +. Shit I have might arts that I haven't used in years cause I'm prec. And the god mod for 12 secs is on a different timer, pretty sure it's 5min cool down so it's pretty practical
You did fail to mention that it does have a 5 minute (300 second) cooldown for the Rage of Lazarus effect. It's good, but I wouldn't say broken. One shot mechanics come up far more often than 5 minutes, more like an average of every 30 seconds. If it didn't have the cooldown, I would agree. Otherwise I like what they did. It may be considered broken if you consider the top 1% of players. But understand that these artifacts are being reworked for the general player base, with a much greater skill set level difference.
I 100% agree. It’s only not broken because the 5 minute cooldown on it. In that 5 min window it’s probably better to swap off of it.
@@theonlygen2779 yeah I don't like the idea of tanks art swapping. I think if it gets to that point, the devs will prob lock arts when in combat. Last I heard, the jury is out on the matter, until they decide either way on how they wanna handle it. I think if tank and heals are expected to swap, that may be the tipping point. I think they should add a fourth slot and lock arts while in combat. It's a fair compromise.
@@IconicSimulation it’s not. If you can’t art swap then don’t. It’s by no means necessary. Requesting them to lock arts is selfish idk if it’s cause you’re jealous of the top 1% players and what they’re capable of doing. But many tanks are art swapping dillustil and /or scrap rn.
@@inkXIV I choose not to. The devs have said it's not intended and they may choose to do something about it in the future. It's not selfish, it's simply not intended. When it gets to the point, when others expect you to swap arts, then that's where the selfishness comes into play. And no, many tanks are not swapping arts as of now. Everything in your post is either your opinion/speculation with no facts to back it up. Mepps however had posted on the forums, what I said. You can check it out whenever you like.

Instead of an art rework how bout a weapon rework..i would luv to try prec jus don't wont to use dw flurry shot & brawling shrieuken storm
If they reworked weapon all people need to do is to change their SP; in this case, assuming people are replacing some existing arts with these during this double week, they still gotta buy seal of completion/preservation/catalyst. Weapons also got more combos/things to adjust. So arts will certainly be a place where they can invest less and have more income, that's my two cents.
You can still try prec. Yeah obviously the weapon meta is two weapons but you can be different and make your own Play style just like people do with might dps.
I can honestly say that I've never used any of those arts.

They should of buffed grimbors chains ⛓ I maxed leveled this artifact and it’s ok but %1 extra damage is kinda low. And it doesn’t work on single target or bosses? It would be broken if that %1 came from every player, but that would be a nice buff just lower the %

I mean seriously you're acting like everybody's going to have a 200 level artifact most people artifacts are between 120 and 160 I mean you've been playing this game for a long time I'm sure you know to jump from 160 to 200 it could take almost 6 months! There's even multiple videos where they talk about what the best way to hit from 160 to 200 and they explained you got to have the paid membership you want to cut the Grind from six months to three months not to mention the Breakthrough is much more of a low percentage when you try to jump from 160 to 200. It's understanding for you because you're a UA-camr you're supposed to make videos like this but players who play elt most of them don't have 200 artifacts most of them their artifacts are like 190 or 160 and if they do have a 200 level artifact they only have maybe one or two they don't have like six 200 level artifacts. I'm saying this because when you're making this kind of video you need to keep in mind most players are not going to have every single artifact leveled up based on that notion you should be trying to tell Daybreak why don't you add more content that can give us exotic Catalyst that you have to buy from John Constantine like why do you have to make it such a time-consuming grind to a point where it can take almost 6 months to a year just to love one artifact from 160 to 200
It doesn't matter if only a small percentage of the player base may have the art at 200 its still the fact that it exists. There will be players who level it just for the purpose of cheesing mechanics and making feats easier, which is what would need to be addressed. DCUO can't just release things that are OP or pay to win knowing that only 0.01% of players could level it, its impact on the game still remains the same if 100 players level it or 10,000 players level it.
@@ObsidianChill it does matter because the fact that there is a small handful people who have a 200 power artifact who constantly rely on the marketplace and rely on the membership there's only a small handful of people who actually do that. That's the only point I'm trying to make because I seen people who do elt missions and they don't have a 200 power artifact and they do just fine.
@@ObsidianChill also the whole point of my comment the basis of it was to talk about how hard it is for some people to jump from 160 to 200 like we should have more content in the game that offers you artifact Catalyst the kind of catalyst you get from John Constantine. We should have a monthly Mission or a weekly mission where you get a handful of catalysts for your artifacts as a random drop it can be anyone. You can think of it as like something similar to the introduction Quest we had with John Constantine when you first acquired an artifact
@@ObsidianChill I mean think about it due to this pay to win you have to have a membership to drastically level up and artifact from 160 to 200 in a decent amount of time. It is pay to win when they make content that is slow and tedious and if you want to content to not be slow and tedious you have to rely on the marketplace that is paid to win. If it wasn't pay to win Daybreak would actually make additional content where it would be easier for players to love what their artifact where they could just simply acquire the material at a fast rate instead of constantly relying on Source marks and the marketplace with the possible membership
@@ObsidianChill the reason I posted this comment is I hope that you could talk to Daybreak about this that they should add additional content that can help all players not just hardcore players all players to reach that are effective level of 200 by simply playing the game not by using the marketplace not by using Source marks but simply playing the game by simply playing missions. The same thing should be said about the skill points you should get endgame skill points simply by playing the game. Very similar to Elder Scrolls or Assassin's Creed Valhalla Mastery skill points you just play the game and you get additional skill points that's how it should be. It should not be long and tedious because some people stop playing the game because they can't reach 600 skill points they don't have time to sit there and play old ass challenges to get more skill points. And I'm not the only one who thinks this there are so many people on the Daybreak forums on Reddit and on social media.. simply put you always get invited for these test servers you have the power to make this game better for everyone they will actually f****** listen to you. Like I'm not saying something complex adding more content don't put such a heavy focus on the marketplace if they need money that bad give us paid episodes give us premium memberships for paid episodes
