      Go to the store with cash 💰 and trust me you can’t spend what you don’t have on hand!! I love my cash stuffing wallet. The budget in the envelope for the category is the budget on hand.

      You need to be honest with yourself when buying things & ask if you will actually be using it or not. Also be ready to return items & get a receipt.

      Put impulse purchases in your budget! If you know you can’t go without, it’s important to factor that in to how much you spend.

    How to save for a down payment would be a great video. Choose a metropolitan area of the US and curtail a budget on baby step 4 to be able to save for a down payment, Use the median income or even slightly lower. Show us how this can be done. Thanks!

    I would love to see a video about saving for a downpayment. Like you take the average income, average home price, and actually go through how much you need to save to afford a home, and what your income would be for it to be 25% at these interest rates.

    Hi i am very curious what people do when they have reached babystep number 7. Can you go deeper how babystep 7 looks like? I can understand it looks different for everyone but do you keep saving and investing (if yes what percentage), what are some spending rules for the wealthy,...
    so basically an in dept 'what after babystep 7'

    • @andresprieto3323
      @andresprieto3323 2 місяці тому +1

      I'm nowhere near baby step 7, but based on what I've learned from listening to the show for a while now that's where you've achieved the freedom to make any of those decisions as you please. You can now choose to invest more than 15% of your income into your retirement accounts; you can continue to save up for any of your person goals; you can be more generous with money; you can spend more if your budget permits. A lot of people set their own ratios based on their preference. You can do 40% on spending, 30% saving towards goals, 20% investing, and 10% giving, or however you choose :) you've earned that freedom! But the important part is to never stop budgeting and always know where your money is going.

      High yield savings account. Ally, CIT (not to be confused with citi bank) and a few others offer north of 5%. They're out performing bonds at the moment.

    That's house poor, net worth millionaires. Not actual people earning one million dollars per year. I'd rather learn from a cash flow millionaire.

    • @Michael-hb4wc
      @Michael-hb4wc 2 місяці тому +1

      A millionaire is someone with a net worth of $1m. Not someone with an annual income of $1m.

    • @markhines192
      @markhines192 2 місяці тому

      If you have a net worth of one million dollars because of a $400,000 house and a $600,000 stock mutual fund that may make you a millionaire on paper, but none of it is liquid unless you sell some stock or borrow on the house equity. When you need cash flow, paper millions aren't going to help. I'd rather have a business or cash flowing real estate to fund my lifestyle.

    • @Michael-hb4wc
      @Michael-hb4wc 2 місяці тому

      @@markhines192 ok, that's fine. Do that.

    • @andresprieto3323
      @andresprieto3323 2 місяці тому +2

      The literal definition of a millionaire is "a person whose assets are worth one million dollars or more." That's why when you Google rich people it displays their net worth. You just had a misconception of what a millionaire is. What you're thinking of are billionaires. People like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Cuban whose portfolios of businesses and investments produce millions of dollars in profit. There's only about 3,000 billionaires in the entire world. Millionaires are more common than you think and they achieve that buy purchasing real estate and building up their retirement funds.
