They laser weld those adapter flanges and they don't fill the welds afterwards. I bought one for my JDM J32A swapped CG1 Accord and the same thing happened to me. Chris from P2R and I are working on getting it resolved. I had to have mine welded too.

@@danielnelson4881 it's a very common thing with drift cars, it allows for them to be remotely mounted, with engine swapped cars it makes it alot easier without having to try and get like an oem one from that set engine and if you really want to you can adjust the voltages to make it work better or less depending on how you want it to drive. Plus depending on what one you end up using the can cost peanuts and most of the time they last a good amount of time unless it's something from a super high mileage car (if it hasn't been replaced).
