Note: if your yoyo still dosent wake up check if it's made of metal and not plastic. If it is then it might be an un-responsive yoyo and to get it to wake up you have to learn binds
Are all metal yoyos non responsive?

Question: I've tried making the string tighter and the yoyo I have is a transaxle yoyo. It does respond, but making it respond now takes a larger tug than usual. More importantly, I'm now struggling to practise loopy-loop because the yoyo doesn't come back right away and often misses my hand. It's been like this ever since I dinged it that one time, any ideas?
I have a promblem with my it wont wrap around the middle part the string won't any advice?
You might be using an unresponsive yoyo - if you're using an unresponsive yoyo, you need to learn how to do a trick called "the bind" to bring the yoyo back up: ua-cam.com/video/R0wnN4blxII/v-deo.html

Hey, I have a yo-yo which does not come up at all ,and I tried the string tension trick also still it doesn't work. So for lubing the bearing, can I use coconut oil?
It might be a unresponsive yoyo which doesn’t come up unless you use a trick called the bind
It is a responsive yo-yo, when I started using it it comes up just like a responsive yoyo, but after using it for few weeks, it doesn't come up.
Idk if it is something with the response pads or bearings
(I tug the rope greatly yet it doesn't come up, but it comes up when I started using it)

No, the hair oil will work great in the beginning but after some time it will accumulate dust and slow the yoyo, so don't use
Mine won't coil, it's too smooth when I try to coil it just becomes straight
To make your yoyo more responsive, you could try lubricating your beating, like in this video: ua-cam.com/video/F2DAx1BMzY4/v-deo.html

Doesnt matter how much tension. The yoyo wont come up. It's brand new with plenty of oil
After i change my string my yoyo is not coming back.

My magicyoyo k1 is new yet it won't come back up. It arrived with a lot of lube in the bearing. But even after i wiped it and played with it a lot, still it won't come back up easily.
I personally had the same problem with that yoyo I took a qtip and baby oil but the oil on the qtip and put it on the bearing seat (place wear bearing clips in)
The yo-yo that you have, is an unresponsive yoyo. No matter how much you pull the string it won't come back up. To make it come back up you need to learn the trick called "Bind".

Same. I have the k1 yo-yo and it doesn’t come back up. Funny cause the description on eBay says it’s a responsive yo-yo, yet the manual says it’s unresponsive and telling you to learn to bind if you want it to come back up. It’s a bit of broken English but that’s the gist of it

You might need to replace your brake pads - those are the pads on the sides of the yoyo next to the bearing that create friction between the yoyo and the string. Here is a video about replacing them: ua-cam.com/video/havA-EArfIQ/v-deo.html
