Love all these install videos where theyre like "screw a torque wrench, I'm just gonna crank these bitches down" Mine arrives tomorrow, can't wait to install.
I was thinking thinking same thing. or keep hoses as it is assembled as in video. Instead of connecting to breather bolts, plug that end of hose with brass fitting or a cap. that way no risk of anything getting drawn in and can easily be reverted back as it is non destructive to the VO2 X
Hello!! I need some serious help, i accidentally snapped a breather bolt when i was installing it. Can i use the original breather bolts that i took out or do i have to order a breather bolt?
At 2 - 3x's the price of Arlen Ness Big/Monster Sucker I can't justify the cost. What advantages of Vance & Hines are there to justify going faster at this price when most of us drive on the street? I'm ready to go ram air for this price. Convince me otherwise.
Air cleaner selection depends on a number of factors, most important being aesthetics, as functionality is improved with larger filter surface area but fueling and power concerns are fairly equal in that regard. Compared to a big sucker, yes it's quite a bit more expensive. If you were planning on running a billet cover on the big sucker, then the price goes up quite a bit and the VO2 X is right in that neighborhood. The same can be said for the SE Ventilators, Heavy Breathers, and other high-end air filters that are in line with the VO2 X in regards to performance and pricing. Hope this helps!
Just get the naked version and it’s the same price. Then you can buy whatever cover you want. This air cleaner has bolts with holes in it and you can reroute them to vent outside the air cleaner. With the other air cleaner this requires drilling.
I think it’s worth the cost for quality. Will be a perfect match for my Vance and Hines 2 into 1 pro-pipe on my 2012 Roadglide
Plan to get this soon!

Hopefully it's that easy for my 08 Sportster. Video is great just go a little fast but I'll get it done.
So if i delete the breather hoses with a catch can setup. Just plug the holes in the back plate and call it good ?

Serious question: Does the vo2 x come with every part I'd need to install it on a 2010 xl883n out of the box?

what is an S model? I have a street glide special.... is that an S model?
I think he’s referring to low rider “s” or any other “s” model. A “special “.
