G'day!! Fellow Aussie here!! I have been hankering for a good feed of Kranskies!! But they are expensive in the shops!! When I went too adult school the canteen had them and they were a nice quick feed!! So I've been thinking about making them!! I've got the pastry...sausage...and poppy seeds!! My question to you is...can you put cheese inside in between the sausage and pastry?? Cause that's how I've been thinking about making them!! Cheers from Adelaide!!
I rekon you can. maybe a little whisked egg over krankskies then sprinkle grated cheese all over them before wrapping in pastry. let me know if that works would be good to know. thanks cheers from Mannum xo 💚💛😊💜🍻
@@aussiegirlcancook I just made some!! OMG!! So good and easy to do!! Looks like a Kransky and tastes like a Kransky!! The German in me is satisfied!! LOL!!
😂 awesome 🍻
Hey bub, those krankski's are already cooked arnt they mate?
Your just cooking the pastry basically??
yes mate xoxo
Making them for dinner tonight for the first time, going to follow your video and see how they will go considering we arent good cooks but bakery made (Villis) are way to expensive
mate you got this. enjoy your cook up and have a lovely night xo
@aussie girl can cook For the information of anyone watching this from outside Australia, here's a Wikipedia article about Kransky sausages, (which are known by many different names, as you'll see if you read the article): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carniolan_sausage
thats awesome Christopher thank you for that. have an awesome night mate :)
do you have a good recipe for gravy, my former mother-in-law refused to share her recipe with anyone, including her daughter, but there was pepper in it.
i dont make gravy from scratch i always use the powdered ones and put my own spin on them. i love maggi rich gravy i add bacon onion and pepper for some things i cook. sorry thats not much help but give it a go it is really nice. i have a vidoe on here for yorkshire puddings i make the gravy with the bacon in that video from memory. have a great day mate :)
It’s pretty easy if you’ve cooked a roast of any kind. Drain the excess fat from the residual baking juices. Add 1 cup of water or milk and 2 to 3tbls plain flour, 1tbls Worcestershire sauce. 1/2 tsp ground black pepper. Put baking tray on a heat source and stir until thickened. You can use more liquid and a stock cube if you have a lot of juices. You can use liquid stock too if you want.
