Ivan Moody is an exceptional vocalist that embodies the passion that is lacking in most of today's music. Every song he sings, he sings with emotion. He makes you feel it. A fantastic live band. Some other tracks for you to react to are: Wrong Side of Heaven, Gone Away, Wash it all Away.
If only he sounded as good live as he does in the studio. He’s more of a Vince neil rather than an Amy lee situation if you catch my drift

Ivan, the lead singer of the band, writes all of the lyrics to their songs. They are all stories of his life and incredibly emotional. This particular song they dong even perform live anymore because it is too triggering for him, threatening his sobriety. "The Bleeding" would be great to react to, it is their first hit song. :)

Its pretty cool how the band hides themselves in the music videos, almost every band member is a background character like at 6:10 the singer ivan moody is the dude on the left looking at the guns, at 6:58 the guitarist who just did the guitar solo walks past him and taps him on the back, and at 7:39 the doctor is the bassist and the guy in the wheel chair is the main guitarist.

IMO one of FFDP best songs lyrically and perfectly paired with the video! Another 2 like this are my 2 favorites, The Bleeding and Wrong Side of Heaven.

This band is phenomenal seen them over 5 times live. This song is somewhat of a representation of his life, Ivan moody the lead singer, he has trouble singing it live or listening to it. Check out coming down and blue on black videos are a must. And keep up the hard work!
You know when it is a personal song. "Daddy" by Korn is a exact replica of Jonathon Davis's childhood. Hell, most of Linkin Parks are representative to Chester's childhood and sadly his demons were too much.

Love FFDP i can relate to quite a few of there songs especially this one. The beginning lyrics had me in tears because i was never good enough for my mom and my dad took off when i was 4 but he was a drunk and always cheated on my mom and beat her i watched as a young girl hiding behind the couch while my mom would get beat. Anyways coming down and gone away are 2 songs I've been listening to a lot and washing it all away i relate to them all but coming down is the one as scary as it sounds I'm relating to that song the most right now. I lived that life
War has no winners.
I lost my father at a very young age as a result of that I lost my mom. We were never close; needed her to get me help. But she never did cause she was lost in her pain . So at the tender age of 5 my world was ripped out from under me. Having to learn to deal with this made me a very angry 😡 child. It was it till recently I learned to deal with it. See you have to let go of something like that before you can move on and get the rest of your life right.
