Wow, what great trip! This video is gonna have a little of everything. We have keepers, throwbacks, run-offs, breakoffs, and yet another uninvited guest making an appearance worthy of 6-27-24 edition of "The Fisherman's Magazine Video Report" for the South Jersey/Delaware bay region. This is my third time having one of my clips featured. Not even sure what my favorite part was, I got some great footage, including multiple sheepshead, a couple of tog, and an incident that you won't see everyday. It's all fun and games until the taxman shows up on the scene and leaves you in utter shock! Hope you enjoy this video, if so, hit that like button, smash that notification bell, and please support me by subscribing to my channel! - Спорт
Hell of a trip
Yes, it will definitely be one of my more memorable moments of the season, that's for sure!
Nice work catching the sheeps and that was amazing that you got the video of that big blue eating your tog! I thought he had the hook in him but no, he just didn’t want to let go. I was really impressed with how you could hold your position despite the current and strong wind. I have the Old Town ePDL and it’s great but no spot lock and I definitely can’t do that in it. It looks like the Autopilot is ideal for jigging crabs on bridges.
@tommcmahon9383 Thank you very much, I always love getting those OMG moments on video. I was trying to learn how to catch tog when I made the decision to purchase the auto pilot. At the time, my intentions were to use it to spot lock in open water over structure. I never thought I'd be using the engine the way I normally do at bridges, and I didn't even know about sheepshead then. In this video, I was actually spot locking in front of the piling, but only because of the wind. In most of my other videos, I'm using the engine to pin myself up against it on one side or the other. Every trip is different, tides wind intensity and direction, and when I arrive, I have to figure out the best way to fish the pilings. It's easy with 5 to 10 mph winds, but 15 mph and above really complicates things. Thanks for checking out my channel, Catch Em Up!
Crazy getting taxed like that. A buddy of mine was spearfishing in Barnegat Light. He had a striper hanging on his float while he continued fishing. He felt a pull on his floatline and when he looked, a shark had his bass and ate half of it.
@nathanielkirby5440 Wow, that's kinda frightening! I wonder what species of shark it was.
Had it happen with a Black Seabass.. Got thumped on the way up and was in half when I got to the leader !
@@CrabbinNFishin Oh wow, that sucks. You got robbed and didn't even get a chance to see him. What do you think it was?
Pretty sure it was a ravenous Blue @@SouthJerseyYakFishing-wn7bmis
@CrabbinNFishin Well, now we have at least two things in common. Tight lines Bro, and watch out for them Jersey gators!
I might know that bridge! lol. Nice job brother. One of the "old salts" down there had a monster blue bite his keeper flounder in half just as his wife tried to net it. Crazy stuff. See you out there!!
Thanks man, it's those moments you catch on film that make the effort worth it! See ya around!
@@SouthJerseyYakFishing-wn7bmis truth! I just watched a viewer/subscriber catch his first sheep yesterday. Means the world when someone says that your videos helped them achieve their goals. Keep doing what you're doing and never forget that people are paying attention. Wishes for continued success on here!! Leave a few for the rest of us, will ya!!! lol!!
