Mountain Biking Horseshoe Trail at Grapevine, TX (Dallas/Fort Worth)

Horseshoe is a multi-use trail system on the south shore of Lake Grapevine. There're 5 miles of MTB trails here which are developed and maintained by DORBA. The trails are mostly tight and twisty single tracks, with a few rocky or sandy sections. It's a nice little gem in the DFW area and I would imagine it's a popular post-work quick ride for the locals.

I love this trail. I ride it all the time! It’s such an overlooked trail since we have north shore. Have you done knob hill?

Yes I've been to knob hill. It's longer but I feel horseshoe is more fun.

@@GeoExplorerStudio same! horseshoe is still my favorite grapevine lake MTB trail! North shore is also fun but it’s crowded and there is tons of loose sand on the east side and the west side gets pretty rocky. Great for long rides though!
