When he speaks about the people of Gaza not questioning where is Allah while the most cruel thing is happening to them is actually what’s bringing me closer to Islam (not yet converted, inshallah soon). Muslims are the most devoted in their faith that I’ve come across and it’s so inspiring to those who aren’t Muslim. As informed by you in this talk - alluding to Surah Al Feel in reference to Abraha marching to destroy the QA'ABA .... in my view I am wondering why Allaah Subhana wa Ta'ala need to protect it at that time and moment ( Before Islam and the Holy Quran) when it was full of Idols and Idol worshipping was the Norm???
I would rather urge you and everyone here to listen to the recent lecture by Dr. Hany Atchan abt the Ababeel which makes a lot of sense and understanding this misinterpreted Surah. I will share the link here and trust that Sheikh Omar Suleiman kindly review that video and refute it with counter evidence from Holy Quran to say that Surah Al Feel fits with the traditional story of the destruction of the Army of Abraha from Yemen. Rabbanaa laa thajallanaa ma alqawmul dhaallimeen. Rabbanaa Ihdeena wa Saddidnaa alaa AS SIRAATHAL MUSTAQEEM.
