Looks your troubleshooting steps are for Windows 11. I am still on Windows 10. Sad to see such major bugs have been carried forward. My first issue was that I was unable to download anything from the web. I changed my Downloads folder to a different folder on a different physical drive. This fixed the downloads problem however the built in shortcut still pointing o the old folder I wanted to change the path but right click on it hangs Explorer every time. I can see nothing wrong with the old downloads folder, permissions, space etc so why did changing to different folder fix my downloads?
My backup Ubuntu computer will now replace my windows one as I am sick of the endless Windows bugs and poorly written bloted software.

Some of these don't even apply to the widows 11 I'm using because windows changes to damn often it's frustrating.

I think I'm going to reset my laptop to the beginning, I'm savinng my docs into my phone and remove everything in the system. I may have screwed the registry because I can't find the solutions for the explorer crashing when I open my system drive.
don't do stupid stuff like I do, please do not change the registry if you don't know what are you doing, and just don't do the tutorials you found online

I have win 10 and I fix the problem but the right click crash problem but it keeps coming back ever 3-5 months. The commands have been deliberately deleted n the description, so here they are.
Open a Windows Powershell as an administrator. Make sure the blue Windows says “Administrator Windows Powershell”.
Suggest you create a shortcut and place it on your desktop or Quicklaunch bar. You will need it from time to time as this problem does not stay fixed permanently.
1st solution: Open Task Manager. Processes tab. Kill explorer.exe in task manager and then restart Task manager. Test to see if problem still exists. Probably will.
2nd solution: SFC /Scannow, Restart. Test to see if problem still exists. Probably will.
3rd solution: DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth 50/50 chance it works. Restart
4th Solution:
Get-AppXPackage | % {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -verbose}
Test to see if problem still exists. Probably gone, temporarily.
5th solution: Do a windows recovery which safes all your files. Microsoft.com/En-us/software-download/windows10
Restart
6th solution: Do a clean reinstall of windows 10
just create new local user, don't try to fix. It will not work

I had scoured the internet for the last 2 weeks looking for a solution to my issue, as my pc was slowly being rendered more and more useless.
You should have seen the pain and frustration melt off my face in a single instant as i booted up my pc after following your instructions, and both my neigh ungoogleable issues were solved. I don't think I need to elaborate on my gratitude any further.

fixed it (sort of) by disabling the new context menu with this command: reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve
this method worked for me but i need new one.
