Great trip. Sadly to hear that In car service is ended this year, but thankfully the onboard service for Green Class still there. That's mount Fuji without clouds and with clear sky definitely a gift. It's rare to see Shinkansen going late recorded. That restaurant introduction with AI generated video is bit creepy, but nice udon Restaurant by the way, literally above self service, it's DIY Udon Restaurant.

The toilet seats at both sites I've worked at here in Sydney recently are scuffed by people squatting on them. They're used to the Asian squatting toilets I imagine.

I rode the Shinkansen several times, it was great. Their whole rail system operates +/- 30 seconds of schedule, it is a marvel.
save up $3000 USD per person and it can be a 1 - 2 week vacation
