Great response. These questions were fun to answer myself too. I was hoping for flying pigs. Lol. I’ve seen that Tee Vee Repairmann album shown a couple of times. I guess I should check it out. So cool that you were buying Lou Reed and Elvis Costello albums as a teen. Take care, my friend!😊
Hey Dan! I like your band! I grew up in New Jersey and would see RCR often. Rob even drummed in my old band called The Disconnects. I remember he did a stint as a drummer for RCR. Glad to see you guys are back at it as well. Cheers
Hi Ryan thanks for doing the tag .. I have one of those sham 69 Records’ 👍drones✔️I saw cooper Clarke in 79 .. buzzcocks classic ✔️the fall brilliant . I nearly picked Tom .. I saw Richard hell supporting Costello in 79. Those are nice teenage purchases, that ruts cover was a fantastic choice . I wish I’d picked that one .. fun response Ryan I really enjoyed it 👍
Hi Ryan, superb tag response. Great Sham choice. Can't fault any of the Manchester groups shown, l showed Slaughter too. Lovely bunch of singles. Solitary Confinement is my favourite all time Punk song. RIP Tom. Live Stiffs🎉 Cheers Mike
Hey brother! Stiff Little Fingers Nobody’s Heroes // Hanx would have been a cool choice too, both in 80. Ramones twice, in 77 and 78. Man those years were jam packed full of excellence eh? Slaughter & The Dogs rule! Solitary Confinement is a top tune, the Members always had great singles to me. Cheers and Happy New Year
It was great to see my favorite punk band finally getting some love on your channel. The raw power of Martin Short’s fury and the metronome-like precision of John Candy’s drumming are legendary. Canadians could hold their heads up high in the mid ‘80s. SCTV rules! I’d like to drown the Queen off the coast of Argentine Throw her off a battleship with her Falkland War machine -The Queen Haters I could die laughing. Cheers, Jacob
I avoided the Sham 69 record because of the live side. It turns out the live side is better. We did discuss that on a live stream. I’m a big fan of Smirk. Lots of cool 7”s. I invited Johnny Rotten and Marky Ramone to my dinner party. Schizos, the album everyone has. Great answer. The Waldos. WTF. There are always a couple of weak questions but it is fun to watch everyone answer the same questions. I had to look up the definition of Amalgamation.
The 90s question, should of threw that out the window. I don’t have much from that decade. The tag is a fun thing to do. I’d like you to use amalgamation in your next video
@@RyanKidd77 If I remember I will use amalgamation in my next video. I’ll most likely forget. I meant to use bashful in my last video. I’m going to try and change the definition of bashful. Kind of how the definition of gay has changed. My new definition of bashful is hard hitting bash to the face.
I liked Super Snooper. It was cool to hear a revved up take on a lot of the songs from the EPs. They recharged them in a sense. The only song that really fell flat for me on that record was Running, only because I love the original version so much.
The Cable Troll was also my fave video of 2023. Mika rules. Satanic Togas Digital world is one of the best singles last year. Too bad that their European Tour didn't arrived here. Hopefullly you have some steam left also for Punk Vinyl Tag. Stay punk!
Jeez I think I forgot that question too. May as well say here tho some will bring the hate... I picked up Otep's Kult 45 and it was so Rage Against the Machine... I love it. Great channel.
Haha that’s a great point, the banter for me was fun the first listen or two but after awhile you just wanna get to the song. Hubble Bubble debut is ferocity personified! Love it!!
